[Album] The Garden (Live) – Anchor Hymns

Anchor Hymns introduces “The Garden (Live),” their brand-new album recorded in the heart of Nashville, TN, at Covenant Presbyterian. The project presents 14 songs around the theme of hope in Christ’s faithfulness and and redemptive power – in this life and the next – as a way of honoring the weight of the recording location.

Since its inception, Anchor Hymns has sought to write songs that give language to grief, loss, hope, and joy, and in so doing, to equip the Church with reflective hymns that matter in all spaces of life. Andrew Osenga, founder of the collective, said that they wanted “to offer songs that resonate with dignity, honesty, and hope for that solemn and sacred night.”

“The Garden (Live)” is the other side to Anchor Hymns’s previous project, “Beloved: Live From Black Abbey,” also recorded in Nashville, but that time at a local brewery. The latter offered songs for everyday life and friendship with God, while the new album centres on songs for valley moments.

This balance is what the collective has always been after; creating sacred spaces for celebration and suffering alike. The new album features 15 artists including Paul Baloche, Caroline Cobb, Sarah Kroger, Sandra McCracken, Dee Wilson, Citizens, The Sing Team, Buddy Greene, Ashley Cleveland and more.

“This recording’s songs were chosen according to the make-up of the Anchor Hymns community and the experience of God’s everlasting faithfulness at its core,” Osenga continued. “The Garden (Live)” brings together the reality of death, resurrection, and the in-between with hope-filled songs that point to the real presence of Christ with us.

William Murphy Releases Empowering EP ‘THE devil DIDN’T GET AWAY WITH IT’

GRAMMY and Dove Award nominee, Stellar Award-winning artist, and celebrated pastor William Murphy returns with his latest EP, THE devil DIDN’T GET AWAY WITH IT, available now across all digital streaming platforms. The powerful four-song set is crafted as the perfect soundtrack for Easter and beyond, declaring that every challenge faced comes with God’s assured response of restoration and victory.

With this stirring new EP, Murphy affirms through music that the battles people endure do not go unseen by God, and divine recompense is certain. Each song is designed to set hearts, minds, and spirits to a pace of praise, encouraging listeners to engage deeply in worship whether individually or within their communities.

Murphy shares, “This EP is a proclamation that no matter what trials you’ve endured or how hard the devil has fought against you, it will not go unanswered. God sees, He restores, and He responds. My hope is that these songs will ignite faith and joy in the hearts of listeners everywhere.”

The EP kicks off with the boldly declarative title track, “The Devil Didn’t Get Away With It,” a vibrant anthem of triumph and renewal. “Just Breathe” follows, gently encouraging listeners to pause, reset, and reconnect with the calming presence of God. Next, “I Will Exalt You” beautifully captures the heart of worship, inviting audiences to center themselves wholly in adoration.

Concluding the set is “Double,” previously released as a powerful single reminding listeners of God’s promise to restore abundantly beyond past hardships.

In 2000, William Murphy became a household name in gospel, contributing significantly to the acclaimed song “Praise Is What I Do” with Shekinah Glory Ministry, a project that landed prominently on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart. Relocating to Atlanta, GA, Murphy served as worship minister at the renowned New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, amplifying his global impact through both preaching and musical ministry.

Tauren Wells Ushers In New Chapter With ‘Let The Church Sing’ EP

Multi-GRAMMY–nominated, platinum-selling artist Tauren Wells ushers in an inspiring new chapter of his artistic and spiritual journey with the release of his latest EP, Let The Church Sing, out today. Building on his legacy of soul-stirring, faith-centered music, the EP calls believers everywhere to unite in praise and experience renewed community and adoration.

Deeply rooted in Wells’ personal evolution as both an artist and pastor, Let The Church Sing was shaped by the historic launch of Church of Whitestone, which he and his wife, Lorna, founded in Austin, Texas, in January 2024. Welcoming nearly 4,000 attendees on its opening weekend, Church of Whitestone made history as the largest first-day church launch in American history. This transformative experience propelled Wells’ creativity, bringing worship music to the forefront like never before.

Merging gospel roots with contemporary Christian and pop influences, Let The Church Sing delivers a collection of soul-stirring anthems—including the previously released “Making Room” and “Thank You For The Cross.” Much like the church itself, the music came together session by session, naturally mirroring Church of Whitestone’s growing congregation. Each song reflects the power of communal worship, inspiring churches everywhere to lift their voices in celebration of God’s love and transformative grace.

In addition to his music, Wells expands his ministry this year with his debut book, Joy Bomb: Unleash Jesus’s Explosive Joy for an Extraordinary Life, arriving May 20, 2025, via Zondervan Books. Endorsed by Steph Curry, Joel Osteen, and Michael Todd, and featuring a foreword by Steven Furtick, Joy Bomb offers a bold, refreshing look at Jesus’ first recorded teaching—the Beatitudes—as a roadmap to unshakable joy.

“When we planted the church, it was a major spiritual excavation into the heart,” Wells shares. “A lot of songs came from the birth of our church. I hope this music and my book remind people of the beauty of faith and community—that true joy is deeply rooted in God’s love, not in our circumstances.”
