Regina Vandereijk Releases ‘The Lord Is There’ Album

From her origins in the misty peaks of North Carolina’s Appalachian Mountains to her current home along the picturesque canals of Gouda, Netherlands, singer-songwriter Regina Vandereijk has crafted a debut album that is both profoundly intimate and spiritually resonant. The Lord Is There is a masterful fusion of Southern Appalachian folk and gospel with a modern pop-rock edge—a reflection of Regina’s roots, faith, and life story.

Grounded in Biblical inspiration and her walk with God, Regina’s music is more than a collection of songs—it’s a heartfelt invitation to reflect, connect, and grow. Every track, from its soaring melodies to its soul-stirring lyrics, reflects the command of Ephesians 5:19: ‘sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.’

“This album holds pieces of my testimony,” says Regina. “It’s a journey through Scripture and my own life—exploring the depth of God’s mercy, the power of His love, and the hope we have in Him.”

At the heart of the album are stories that cut to the core. The achingly beautiful Wake Up Boy tackles themes of repentance and redemption, offering a raw yet hopeful perspective on human frailty and God’s grace. Meanwhile, Two Become One serves as a dual metaphor: a tender depiction of a wedding dance between Jesus and His Church and a heartfelt reflection on Regina’s marital journey and struggles with infertility.

Raised in a family of artists in North Carolina, Regina’s creative roots run deep. Her upbringing fostered a love for storytelling, a passion that shines in her music. Now, she channels her artistry into songs that entertain, challenge, and uplift—designed to guide listeners toward Jesus and encourage spiritual growth.

The Lord Is There takes the listener on a profound journey through the Bible. Across ten tracks, the story unfolds from the beginning: God created mankind to seek and find Him. Yet, humanity fell into sin, becoming enemies of God. God calls us to turn away from sin in His boundless grace and invites us to embrace Him, where forgiveness and peace are found through Jesus Christ—God made flesh. He came to die for our sins and rose after three days, conquering sin, death, and hell in the process.

More than music, this project serves a mission. With devotionals inspired by each song, Regina aims to draw listeners closer to Jesus and offer peace in an uncertain world. Jesus promises the power to overcome, found in intimacy with God. He calls us to share His work in our lives and prepare others for His return to judge the living and the dead.

“The Sound of the Bride—what does she sound like? What does she look like?” Regina reflects. “I’m just a piece of that Sound, but I’m calling out to other musicians and artists to walk in Word and Spirit, side by side, as we travel to our eternal home. We are strangers in this world, but a cloud of witnesses surrounds us—fellow sojourners in the Family of God. Together, we hold to the faith, because He who promised is faithful. This music is a call to prepare and a warning. Jesus said He is coming back, and told us to be ready.”

The album’s title, The Lord Is There, is inspired by the final verse of Ezekiel, where ‘Yahweh Shammah’ signifies the reign of Jesus in the new heaven and earth.

With The Lord Is There, Regina Vandereijk has delivered more than a debut—it’s a declaration. Bold, unapologetic, and deeply moving, this album invites us all to listen closely, reflect deeply, and prepare our hearts for what’s to come

Worship Through It Live was captured during an honest night of raw worship with friends that took place just 10 days after Layton and her team had the initial idea to produce a live recording.

The collection showcases a mix of original selections, including a new powerful live version of Layton’s most recent No. 1 hit, “Worship Through It (feat. Chris Brown),” and opening anthem “God of Deliverance”; as well as a host of familiar favorites like Elevation Worship’s “Praise,” Phil Wickham’s “Living Hope” and Red Rocks Worship’s “Good Plans,” the latter of which proved to be a standout moment during the recording.

This spring, Layton is poised to take music from her inaugural live album directly to fans on the “Trust Again Tour” with bestselling author Lysa TerKeurst. Kicking off Feb. 25 in Flowood, Miss., together, Layton and TerKeurst, will bring a special evening of worship and Bible teaching to nine cities across the U.S. before concluding Mar. 9 in Gig Harbor, Wash.

The outing with TerKeurst will commence a year of significant touring for Layton. 2025 will also find the songstress growing her faith-based initiative, Boundless, a non-profit dedicated to educating and equipping the church with resources to aid in mental health. Additionally, fans won’t have to wait long for even more new music from the acclaimed vocalist, as Layton is slated to deliver her next studio project later this year.

We Must Respond – Bethel Music

Stream Full Album Below

More than an album title; “WE MUST RESPOND” is a declaration – the believer’s commitment to live active, surrendered lives that reflect the glory of God. This relationship of response is breathtakingly beautiful. We bring everything to the Lord—our joy and our pain, our victories and our struggles.

Ezra 3:11 reminds us of the sacred rhythm of response: “And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, ‘For He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever […].’” In moments of joy and triumph, our response is praise. But even in moments of brokenness, we are invited to draw near. This is who we are, and this is the privilege of responding.

“We must respond when we think about His presence, His goodness, love, mercy, salvation, and the simple fact that we’re breathing, our hearts are filled with gratitude,” says Bethel Music’s Jenn Johnson, “He is our everything, and we can’t help but respond to Him and give Him our worship.”

The album’s focus track, “The Church (Live),” led by Jenn Johnson, celebrates the beauty and power of the Church and calls for unity among believers. The song serves as a reminder of our identity as children of God, urging the body of Christ to set aside pride and work together for His glory.

Adds Johnson, “This is one of those songs I feel like I was born to write. My heart has always been for the global Church. It was so special for me and our team to get to write this with dear friends from Passion City & Upper Room, who are such faithful leaders in their local churches. My prayer is that people would be reminded of the beauty and power that comes when we are unified together, Christ as the head, us as the body, all for the glory of His name.”

With a global reach that spans over 200 million listeners, thousands of churches using their music, and sold-out events like the Bethel Music Conference and Worship Nights, Bethel Music is one of the largest and most influential worship collectives in the world.

Since its inception in 2001 (co-founded by Brian and Jenn Johnson), the collective has released 18 albums, produced multiple Gold and Platinum-certified albums, and consistently reached the top of the Billboard Christian Music charts with powerful songs like “Reckless Love,” “It Is Well, and “Goodness of God.”

Hitting a new stride over the last few years, the collective recently garnered a GRAMMY-nomination for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song” with “Holy Forever” feat. Bethel’s Jenn Johnson and gospel legend CeCe Winans. Bethel Music has continually ranked #6 in the top 10 radio market share and their impactful music continues to resonate across the globe.
