Each of the new songs were inspired by a serious skateboarding injury that resulted in multiple back fractures for FORREST FRANK, but ultimate quick healing, which he extensively shared with fans on socials.

Not long after posting about his healing, fellow artist Cory Asbury joked about FORREST FRANK’S injury in a parody about his vasectomy, and in response, Frank shared how hurtful jokes about what he called “probably the most traumatic moment of my life” was painful.  Asbury apologized sincerely and removed the video, and the two reconciled on the phone, turning what began as a misunderstanding on social media into an opportunity for forgiveness and grace, ultimately co-writing the newest song on the deluxe, “Misunderstood.”

FORREST FRANK currently has logged his second Top 5 single on the Mediabase and Billboard Christian radio charts with “YOUR WAY’S BETTER” at #3 on all four Christian radio charts (Mediabase Christian Audience and Christian AC plus Billboard Christian Airplay and Christian AC) with 96 stations on the song.

“LEMONADE,” has already been added to 24 stations in three weeks with multiple outlets putting the song straight into heavy rotation! Jenn Chenoweth Is Captured By Love With ‘Out To Get Me’

The EP’s overarching theme is aptly captured in standout track “Truth Comes Running.” Penned by Chenoweth, Hannah Cheshire and Nirva Ready, the percolating pop anthem serves as a reminder that God’s kindness leads to repentance: “Help me believe that You don’t keep a record of my wrongs/Help me to see that Your love has been for me all along.”

“The heart behind the title is this: God is out to get you, but not like you may think,” Jenn Chenoweth explains. “I used to think He was out to get me like a taskmaster, waiting for me to mess up and fail. But the truth is, God was out to get me, to find me, bring me in, and set me free! I want to connect with those who have been led astray by ideas about the Lord that aren’t true. God is our Father, our Shepherd, and our Friend. Yes, He will lovingly correct us, but He does not condemn us.”

The daughter of a pastor, Jenn Chenoweth was raised with a firm foundation of faith, but she grappled with anxiety and low self-esteem for many years and struggled to view God as a loving father. Furthermore, a major accident in 2019 caused Jenn Chenoweth’s jaw to lock open, leaving her in constant chronic pain from TMJ disorder.

“This season really broke my spirit and led to severe depression,” she recalls. “Some days I didn’t want to get out of bed, and I thought my life was over. Singing and leading worship were things I’d always loved to do, and for two years I wasn’t sure I would ever sing again.”

Through the healing process God revealed even greater depths of His love for her, rekindling Jenn Chenoweth’s passion to proclaim His goodness to the world. “As I recovered and doors began to open to lead worship and minister to people again, I realized very quickly that this was what God had called me to do, and my health setback was a set-up for what He had in store next,” she adds.

“I can’t imagine being where I am now without that hard experience; it helped me realize how fragile and special life is. I want to help people through my own experiences, so I’m hoping every song on this EP will encourage, bless and point others to Jesus.”

Every so often, a collection of songs comes along that doesn’t just entertain—it encourages you to look inward, to take inventory of your soul, and to ask the hard questions about the path you’re walking. Jeremy Parsons’ EP Life is one of those rare offerings.

Written during the pandemic—a season of isolation, uncertainty, and loss—this five-song set feels like both confession and testimony. While Parsons doesn’t market himself as a “Christian artist” per se, there’s no denying that the themes of mortality, redemption, and the value of our time echo loudly with the kind of eternal perspective believers recognize.

The opener, “Tickin’,” sets the tone with its reminder that time is fleeting. Parsons sings of the clock on the wall, its hands moving forward whether we pay attention or not. In Scripture, Psalm 90:12 reminds us to “number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Parsons’ lyric “It’s not wasted if you choose to learn” sounds like a modern echo of that ancient prayer. It challenges listeners to consider not just how they spend their time, but whether they’re investing it in things of eternal worth.

“The Garden” grows this reflection into a parable. Parsons, drawing from the imagery of seeds, growth, and withering, asks us to take a look at what’s thriving in our lives and what isn’t. Jesus Himself often used garden imagery to describe the state of the heart—most notably in the parable of the sower. Parsons’ refrain, “I hope that means you are too,” becomes a blessing, a prayer for the well-being of those who hear it. It reminds us that tending the soil of our lives is a constant process, one that requires patience, faith, and perseverance.

Perhaps the most vulnerable track, “Who Was I,” is Parsons’ honest reckoning with his past—his years of drifting, chasing empty highs, and measuring himself against others’ expectations. There’s a humility in this song that resonates with the Christian idea of repentance, of looking back on our mistakes not to glorify them, but to acknowledge how far grace has carried us.

When Parsons admits, “Sometimes I wonder who’s chasing who, me or the dream,” he voices the same restlessness that Saint Augustine described when he wrote, “Our hearts are restless until they find rest in You.”

“Humanity” steps into broader territory, addressing the brokenness of our world. Parsons calls out judgment, pride, and the loss of compassion, lamenting that humanity itself seems to be dying inside us. Yet woven through the song is the reminder that we always have a choice.

As Christians, we know that true humanity is restored in Christ, who teaches us to love our neighbors and forgive as we’ve been forgiven. Parsons’ plea for empathy and humility aligns perfectly with that Gospel truth.

It’s a celebration of living with purpose, of cherishing every moment, and of leaving behind a testimony that points others toward love and hope. For believers, it resonates deeply with Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 4:7—“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Parsons isn’t preaching here, but his message is one that any Christian can embrace: a life lived with love, laughter, and perseverance is a life that honors the Creator.

Life is not a “religious” record, but it is profoundly spiritual. It reminds us of the fragility of our days, the importance of compassion, and the joy of finding meaning in the midst of struggle. For the Christian listener, it’s a poignant reminder that our time is a gift, our trials are part of the journey, and our hope is in living a life that reflects something greater than ourselves.
