Two-time GRAMMY award-winning artist Zach Williams unleashed his brand-new song “Hated,“ the fourth single from his highly anticipated upcoming album Jesus Loves, arriving September 19. Alongside the release, a lyric video is now live on YouTube, amplifying the track’s unapologetic message.

“Hated” explores the challenges of staying true to your faith in a culture that doesn’t always accept it. Instead of chasing the world’s fleeting approval, the song calls listeners to anchor their identity in Christ—reminding us that eternal hope far outweighs temporary acceptance.

“This song is about making peace with the fact that not everyone will understand or agree with your faith,” Zach Williams shares. “At the end of the day, I’d rather be known for following Jesus than for compromising who I am to fit in.”

Jesus Loves is available for pre-order and pre-save/add now, with exclusive CD and vinyl editions available. Fans can stream “Hated” today and secure their copy of the 12-track project, already being hailed as Williams’ most personal to date.

Williams has already given fans a glimpse into the record with the Top 10 single “Jesus Loves,” as well as other advance releases, “Killed A Man” and “Friend in High Places. With his signature blend of southern grit, soaring vocals and raw storytelling, Williams continues to deliver songs that resonate deeply with misfits, prodigals and church kids alike.
