Tehillah Music Group Adds Courtney Franklin to Signed Talent Roster
Tehillah Music Group is excited to announce their most recent addition, Courtney Franklin, as their newest artist to their roster. Known as “The Ad Lib King”, Franklin is known for his passionate delivery, incredible vocal prowess and heart for ministry. Combined with the creative backing of Tehillah Music Group, this new relationship is sure to set the industry ablaze.
When asked about adding Franklin to their roster of signed artists, Tehillah Music Group President Jerry Parries says, “Courtney Franklin is a unique gift. He has spent many years in the industry supporting other artists, and I knew it was his time to spring forth as an artist in his own right. As he continues to develop, he will continue to be something truly special — and that is the reason that Tehillah Music Group is very happy to partner with him.
Franklin has a vast history of working with many of the industry’s leading names in gospel music. Such names include Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Kurt Carr, Kim Burrell, and more. He also spent time as a member of James Fortune‘s group, FIYA. However it was his hit single, “I Believe” that he performed with Lisa Page Brooks in the 90s that ignited the craze for the industry to want more music from Courtney. This success lead to his debut album release, “Time” in 2002.
Aside from his music artistry, Franklin serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Power Spot Church in Memphis, TN where he serves with his wife, First Lady Kanesha Franklin.
New music is expected to be released at the beginning of 2027.
