TAYA Premieres “Simple Phrase”
Globally renowned vocalist TAYA shares “Simple Phrase” from her upcoming project, The Reminder, due out next month (Apr 4).
It all started Thursday, August 17th, 2023. I drove up to LA to write with my friend Lindsey Sweat & Davy Nathan, who I had not met yet. Davy started playing an idea he had received in the middle of the night.
Awakened, he had gone to the piano & sang, ‘How I love You, how I love You, how I love You Lord, I live my life to tell You, how I love You Lord.’ I had always wanted to sing those 3 words to Jesus in my own song & couldn’t believe I was getting to in such a beautiful way. The rest of the song wrote itself. –TAYA
