Powerhouse vocalist and author Tasha Layton has debuted a new song titled “The One You Love,” which is available today and features Rachael Lampa. This track will be part of her upcoming album, Life In Me, set to be released on October 10th.

“This song really speaks to who we are in Christ,” shares Tasha Layton. “When the world says so many things about who I am and who I’m not, I can rest in the beautiful truth that…I am the one He loves. Nothing else matters more than that. It’s a soul-satisfying truth that brings us peace despite our circumstances.”

Throughout this year, Layton has released several songs from Life In Me that showcase the album’s diverse styles. These include the upbeat gratitude anthem “Thank You Isn’t Enough” featuring the Choir Room, the powerful ballad “Singing In the Dark,” the beautiful title track, and the No. 1 single “Worship Through It” featuring Chris Brown. In addition to The Choir Room, Rachael Lampa, and Elevation Worship’s Chris Brown, other collaborations on the project include Colton Dixon and Tim Hughes.

Layton continues, “This album is so special to me! Each track really represents a season from my walk with Jesus. In its entirety, the album is a beautiful picture of His life in me.”
