Tasha Layton Releases New Version Of “Never” With Matthew West
Chart-topping singer/songwriter and BEC recording artist Tasha Layton debuted this week a new version of “Never” featuring five-time Grammy nominee Matthew West. Layton first dropped this powerful pop track in June and now she is joined by one of the co-writers of the song as West lends vocals on this new version of “Never.” Songwriting credits for this track also include Keith Everette Smith and AJ Pruis, the team behind Layton’s 2022 #1 smash “How Far.”
Produced by Layton’s husband, GRAMMY and Dove Award-winner Keith Everette Smith, “Never” spotlights the hope and healing found only in Christ. Echoing a theme which hallmarks Layton’s life and music, “Never” unequivocally declares His promises: “There’s not a broken too broken for You/Will there ever come a day when You’re not holding me together?/You say, ‘Never.’”
Layton is set to share “Never” with audiences around the country as she steps into the spotlight for her debut headlining tour this fall. With special guest Jeremy Rosado, Layton’s “Look What You’ve Done Tour” kicks off October 26 in Indianapolis and will hit eight cities before concluding November 12 in Columbus, Ohio.
