Impact Music announced the release of its debut EP “No More Idols” featuring Chandler Moore, Phil Thompson, Lisa Brunson and Zenzo Matoga this Friday, September 24th. The EP features a new sound of worship from New England that addresses mental health, idols and the promises of God.

“Promises”, the newest streaming music video was written by Songwriter and Pastor Zenzo Matoga in the midst of the pandemic. Similar to other songs featured on the EP, the anthem brings the focus back to Jesus and the declarations that come from the Bible. Impact Music has released 3 additional music videos in 2021 including the title song, No More Idols featuring Chandler Moore.

Impact Music this week announced the release of its second single “Anxiety Bows” featuring Zenzo Matoga and Lisa Brunson this Friday, April 16th. Anxiety Bows is a declaration of peace and Christ’s victory over mental illness. To celebrate the release, the songwriter Zenzo Matoga will be talking about anxiety and mental illness with Neuroscientist Dr. Caroline Leaf via Facebook Live on Friday at 7PM.

“I didn’t have the words to pray about my anxiety but I could sing songs,” says Lisa Brunson, featured on the second single. “This song is going to give language to a generation that will break down principalities.”

Pastor and songwriter Zenzo Matoga wrote this song while helping someone facing anxiety and coming to an understanding of what people go through while dealing with mental illness. This song was written as a prayer for those experiencing anxiety to be a weapon to help them stand in victory. However, as a pastor Zenzo Matoga knows the value and perspective mental health professionals can provide to those experiencing mental illness which is why he wants to encourage the conversation of how faith and therapy intersect. Dr. Caroline Leaf has spent the last 30 years researching the mind-brain connection, nature of mental health and formation of memory. She teaches at academic, medical and neuroscience conferences, churches, and to various audiences around the world.

The single “Anxiety Bows” will be released on all streaming platforms at midnight on April 16th.
