“God can you handle me?” That part is me admitting and surrendering everything in God’s hands, I wanted to write a song that would make others feel they are not alone in the pain and fear that we live through in order to endure.

I love that Jesus doesn’t simply say we’ll have trials and sorrow and then leaves it to us to figure out. Instead, he promises peace and reminds us that he has overcome the world, meaning our hardships aren’t without purpose.

This is why the Apostle Paul who experienced much pain and difficulty can boldly declare these words in Romans 8:28.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

The song Handle was produced/mixed and mastered at Geek State Musik by the head of production, Fusa. The song is scheduled to be released on 29^th July, 2022 on all digital streaming platforms worldwide.

“What If” is a song inspired by that doubtful thought we all have when we want to take a step to greatness. Let’s say you want to start a business, a podcast, a YouTube channel, create a song, maybe it’s going to the gym, or telling your testimony, maybe telling your crush what you feel for them, I can go on and on! 

Life is always a tussle between what you are doing and what you really want to do. Often considering that life is uncertain and because of fear of the future we do not pursue our passion. “What If”, we fail. This is what stops us from taking a step further towards our dreams, career, love, and more.

The song features a Zambian female artist Chisomo making it their second collaboration. The duo, who prior to this collaboration worked on a song titled “Would You” have teamed up to create another masterpiece titled “What If“. The song is a fusion of Dancehall and Afro beats accompanied by some influence from the Caribbean, produced by D Jonz a Zambian producer. 

So here is the gist! We fear the unknown and leave the thing which often matters the most. But life is all about taking chances, because “What If” you succeed. 

If you don’t take the risk and take the chance then later you might regret after the realization that what if you succeeded? Always try and give it a shot to pursue your dreams, your love and your passion.

Zambian based, International award winner Paul Payne837 premieres his new single “Chinjako step.”

Chinjako is a bemba word that means “Change.” The release of “Chinjako step” will follow the unstoppable success of his recent joint mixtape TBA with EDM producer Dmstry (as well as emerging winner of the Best International Artist of the year at the GX Awards UK).

The song is a compelling blend of Afro, hip-hop, and dancehall with meaningful lyrics that inspire change and truth. It reminds us of a time where people dream of change at some point in their life but do not change their bad habits. The chorus in particular draws you into a place where you realize that if you want something to change you have to take a step in what you want to do but reminding yourself to put God first and trust in him always.

Produced and mastered at Geek State Musik by the head of production, Fusa. This is the biggest and last project of 2021 for the song artist. It comes in 3 folds, this first one being the original, followed by a female version and a male version. The original version showcases a feature by Dj Victor256 from Uganda and songbird, Kaluya from Zambia. The winning trio encapsulate what it truly means to be wholesome in your life to inspire change.

TBA (To Be Announced) is a joint mixtape by international winning artist Paul Payne837 and EDM producer Dmstry. The mixtape title was inspired by the 4 years it took the duo to finally put in the work for a collaborative project. 

The mixtape is a crossover of many genres for Dmstry, who produced/mixed and mastered the entire project. Afro-pop, dancehall, cinematic hip-hop fusion and deep house are part of the genres that made it to TBA. The mixtape was being marketed with singles that were dropping every month from January to August with Paul Payne837 taking care of all the branding of art covers and visualizers. The mixtape features Dervin Cannon, Chrispin Mbewe,Molly,Habibah and Ugandan rapper/producer Waade.

TBA starts off with some hip-hop and cinematic fusion from the first song “we coming” with song number two “raw” wrapping it up with the fusion. “Give us” takes it to the afro-dancehall part of the tape with  “kontolo” being the last original version with the afro sound. The “kontolo” and “give us” remixes introduce the tape to a different sound/ market with an East African feature. “choolwe and penyani” wraps the tape up with a melodic trap feel where the duo shares their stories building up to TBA.
