[EP] Pure Heart – Luke Wareham

Luke Wareham’s highly anticipated new 5 track EP ‘Pure Heart’ is out on the 12th August, The EP features Chris Sayburn, Donna Akodu, Lou Fellingham, Marc James and Michelle Lutz.

Luke says ‘making the new EP has been great fun, with so many amazing people involved and I cannot wait for everyone to hear the songs. I have been writing these songs over the past year and some really kind people have supported me in recording. I love to write songs straight from reading the Bible’.

‘The EP is an outpouring of my heart for each of us to be ‘all in’ for God. We need God in our hearts, minds, body and soul. Giving our whole lives to God changes everything and as we do we become more like him and more in step with how he wants us to live. In Matthew 5v8 it says, ‘Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God’. And the more we keep our hearts leaned in towards God, the more we become like Him and live our lives for him’.

Luke’s prayer for releasing the songs is that they would help people to have life changing encounters with Jesus, that connect them to the heart of God for their life and that the songs will speak into everyday life situations.

The album was produced by Dan Stirling, mastered by Tim Gosden and distributed via Wings Music Group.

[Music] Honour You Lord : Luke Wareham Ft. Lou Fellingham

Luke Wareham is releasing his new single “Honour You Lord” that will be available everywhere on Friday, September 3rd featuring renowned songwriter and recording artist Lou Fellingham. The song is produced by Manchester-based Dan Stirling.

Luke wrote the song with his friend Matt Caddick whilst reflecting on Psalm 29. They feel Psalm 29 is a prophetic Bible verse for this season of living in and coming out of lockdown. It says:- ‘Honour the Lord, you heavenly beings; honour the Lord for his glory and strength. Honour the Lord for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendour of his holiness.’ Their prayer is that the song would help people to focus on the holiness of God whilst speaking into people’s everyday life situations.

Luke says, “We pray this song will help the church to sing out praise to God again and focus on his holiness as we come out of lockdown. 2021 might not have delivered the fresh new start that many of us had hoped for, but we can walk through the rest of this year knowing that we have a God who loves us, is for us and will never leave us. We need to be proclaiming this good news and telling others about the eternal hope and joy we have even as we come out of a pandemic. Ultimately we hope this song will draw people to Jesus.”

“Honour You Lord” is available to stream and download on all music platforms and the brand new lyric video is on YouTube. The chords to the song are available to download via SongSelect. Download here – https://linktr.ee/warehamluke

Luke Wareham – Refuge Ft. Matt Caddick

“Refuge” is the latest song to be released by Luke Wareham alongside his friend Matt Caddick, two worship leaders and songwriters based in the South West of England.

The song has been produced by brothers Tim and Jonny Stephenson and is to be released on March 12th.  Luke released his debut EP ‘Whisper’ along with his friend Rachel last year that was voted no.1 in the Louder Than The Music 2020 awards with the song “Whisper” making it to number 11 in the UK Christian Music Charts. His lockdown prayers, turned into songs “I will not fear” and ‘Glimpse” were released in late 2020. Luke has a passion for writing songs that speak into people’s everyday life situations.

“Refuge” is based on Psalm 34 v.18 when David writes that ‘The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Luke says that “the song is inspired by a journey of grief in his own and his fiancée’s life through the experience of losing loved ones to Covid 19 and terminal illness.”

His prayer is that the song would speak into people’s lives and help them to hold onto the hope Jesus brings. He says “2021 might not have delivered the fresh new start that many of us had hoped for, but we can walk through this year knowing that we never go through our struggles alone, as we have a God who will never leave us. Jesus sees us, weeps with us and longs to draw close to us. As people listen and worship to this song we hope that it would help to draw people near to God and trust in him.”  Co-writer Matt says “we are really excited about this song, mainly the truth behind it that Jesus is our refuge, he is our rock, he is our hiding place. If there is a message we need to hold onto now it is that!”

“Refuge” is available to stream and download on all music platforms and the brand new lyric video is on YouTube. The chords to the song are available to download via SongSelect.  Download here – https://linktr.ee/warehamluke
