[Music] I Believe – Jada Mayson

Precisely four weeks into 2022, Powerhouse Christian singer Jada Mayson releases another single; I Believe. The song along with its video is slated to be released on Friday, January 28th, 2022. ‘I Believe’ is a power ballad produced by Grammy nominated and multi-award-winning Dana Sorey. Symbolically, this single is being released under Truflow Records which makes Mayson the first artist on the roster of the new Washington DC based independent record label.

With the world still feeling the pangs and uncertainties that have come as a result of COVID fatigue, ‘I Believe’ reminds listeners that they are more powerful than they know and can trust in God’s word concerning them. The song’s simple yet poignant lyrics and melody pulls in the listeners while the affirming chorus will have everyone singing aloud, I believe it!

Although the song is officially being released on January 28th, Jada gave some listeners a sneak preview in November 2021 when she was an opening act on the Gratitude Tour in Boston, MA and Houston, TX. The tour was headlined by Joe Mettle and CalledOut Music, and featured special guest Phil Thompson. Audiences fell in love with this instant classic.

Soul-stirring, Affirming and Reassuring, this is a ballad for all music lovers that says God’s word is THE truth despite what culture says.

“I Believe, was written during a church service and is my personal mantra” says Mayson. ‘I Believe’ spans across genres and will uplift the collective human spirit!

Mayson’s story as a young refugee from a war-ravaged Liberia; losing her Grandmother and Brother in the space of 30 days; graduating law school; being a Wife and Mother; and pursuing her passion for music embodies the spirit of the song and the Gospel.

Download Mp3 : Grateful – Jada Mayson

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY) – Powerhouse Christian singer Jada Mayson has released her latest single, GRATEFUL.

Grateful follows the success of her last hit single, ‘Son of God Son of Mine’. Grateful is a delicious blend of Afrobeat and Gospel vibes; perfect for the summer.

Although Grateful is more upbeat and danceable than most of what Jada is known for, the underlying theme and message remains the same as all of her other songs- Giving praise and honor to God for all he has done and all He is. Her fans will be pleasantly surprised by this Afropop jam!

The cover art for this single is also a departure from Mayson’s classic cover arts. This cover art designed by Ekpo Daniel Inniel depicts our rise from a year that was ravaged by a pandemic, civil unrest, wars and seismic political events to a year that we all hope will be better going forward.

Joyful, celebratory and fun,’Grateful’ is a call for everyone to collectively give thanks to God for bringing us all through the dark, unprecedented time that was 2020. “Takes some reflection to understand what we’ve really been through,” she asserts in the first line of the song, reminding listeners to reflect on and not forget the lessons learned during 2020.

The song was produced by the super talented Caleb Azonsi (Goldenfingerz) and features DC based Christian rap artist Obenewa

“This song reminds us that we have a reason to rejoice,” says Jada. ‘Grateful’ spans across genres and welcomes all music lovers to this praise party!

Jada Mayson Releases “Call the Name Jesus”

Jada Mayson released a remastered version of the song Call the Name Jesus. The song was previously part of her 3rd studio album Jesus Did it All. The remastering of the song was inspired by the testimony of a young fan.

In the Summer of 2019, after getting off the stage at a concert, a beautiful young lady walked up to Jada and testified that she was at the brink of committing suicide when she heard the song and she decided to change her mind.

“This testimony brought so much joy in my heart because this has always been my prayer, that songs that I am inspired to write will carry the message of love, hope, and Salvation. Once I heard the testimony, I immediately said to my manager, we had to re-record this song.”

To re-record this simple yet powerful ballad, Mayson joined forces with 10-time Grammy award-winning producer Kevin Bond. The Gospel music icon has produced music for the likes of Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, and Donnie McClurkin.
