ICF Worship introduce their powerful new single, ‘Make Us Brave’. The new song from the Zurich, Switzerland-based band is centered around embracing the boundless love of God and fearlessly sharing it with the world.
With its dynamic vocals, uplifting lyrics, and catchy melody, ‘Make Us Brave’ is a faith-building song for the Church of today. A fitting Bible reference at the heart of the new single is 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
This verse perfectly captures the message of ‘Make Us Brave’, encouraging listeners to trust in God’s love and boldly share it with others.
ICF Worship had wanted to make a new instrumental album for a long time – one that people could use for moments of intimacy with the Lord – and they are starting 2023 with ‘Moments’.
This piano-led project features some of their most-loved songs from past and recent albums, rearranged to create instrumental melodies to inspire and enrich time spent in the presence of God.
ICF Worship created a stripped back album for anyone longing for moments of peace in everyday life. ‘Moments’ also highlights older worship songs for listeners to rediscover them in a new light.
‘The Saviour Is Here’ wasn’t originally meant to be a Christmas song. ICF Worship set out to write a song based on Revelation, a highly descriptive book giving its readers a glimpse of the throne room of God and the heavenly host’s worship.
Yet, the Swiss band quickly saw the hopeful theme of the Christmas being birthed in the lyrics, celebrating the time when heaven met earth in the most powerful way.
‘The Saviour Is Here’ is an emotive, congregational, and spacious song starting on a beautiful piano melody and evolving into a strings and choir-backed worship carol.
The release also includes an instrumental version of ‘The Saviour Is Here’. In a season of confusion, crisis, and fear, the new single seeks to set our minds on the Eternal Hope and Light of the world, Jesus Christ.
Zürich-based band ICF Worship release a new EP in German. After many projects in English, ‘Treuer Gott’ (meaning ‘Faithful God’) is focussing specifically on the German-speaking parts of the Church in and around Switzerland.
“The world – whether our personal sphere or globally – looks bleak sometimes. Yet we are excited about what God is doing in and around us, and about his faithfulness to us,” says band leader Dave Kull. ICF Worship’s new EP is their statement that through it all, they are set on keeping Jesus in focus and never stopping to celebrate the Giver of Life.
‘Treuer Gott’ presents five translated songs that emerged from the band’s previous two English projects and are sung in their local church week after week. The title track sets the scene by reminding the Church of God’s unconditional love and that our only appropriate response is to praise him accordingly. “It is an invitation to dance away our worries and look to the Lord; the eternal and faithful God,” Dave adds. The new German-language project carries on ICF Worship’s international voice and contagious energy.
Switzerland-based band ICF Worship announce a new German-language project, ‘Treuer Gott’ with first single ‘Es ist vollbracht’. The song is a translated version of ‘Unchanging’ which featured on their latest EP of songs that is the heartbeat of their church.
‘Es ist vollbracht’ speaks of what Jesus accomplished on the cross and reminds the Church of its eternity-altering power. The new single is marked with the band’s musical freshness as ICF Worship seek to equip German-speaking worshippers with songs of sound theology and inspiring faith.
ICF Worship introduce ‘Here’s To The One We Love’, a brand-new album expressing the heart of their vibrant church based in Zurich, Switzerland, and with branches all over the world. ‘Here’s To The One We Love’ transcends a conceptual album, rather it’s a diary of real people’s stories and experiences, a collection of songs that were birthed in community and were sung Sunday after Sunday.
In our world and times, hope sometimes feels far away and darkness stands close, but ICF Worship encourage the Church to keep Her eyes on Jesus, not stopping to celebrate the giver of life at any given moment. This urge breaks through each of the eight tracks, from the hymn-like ‘Only You’ to the up-tempo ‘Faithful God’ and the focus song featuring Matt Redman, ‘When the World Is Changing’. This song encapsulates the essence of ‘Here’s To The One We Love’ as it was written by Redman and the band in the midst of the global pandemic, unable to foresee the difficulties yet to come. “I think God is reminding us just how fragile and fleeting this world is – and, in contrast, how utterly constant, enduring and reliable He is,” says Matt Redman. ‘When The World Is Changing’ brings a sense of urgency, reminding us that we’re singing about something that matters, as well as deep peace in the face of uncertainty. This new live album brings out ICF Worship’s gift of song writing and worship leading, inspiring energy, hope, and joy with each new song.
Ahead of their highly anticipated EP ‘Here’s To The One We Love’ out on May 27th, ICF Worship release ‘Faithful God,’ the last single from the collection of songs that have been teasing the new project. This catchy praise song focuses on declaring the truth about our God’s character; His unconditional love and the promise of His presence are at the forefront of the lyrics. The motif centers around the inexhaustible nature of God and inspires us to never stray from Him.
‘Faithful God’ articulates ICF Worship’s passion to encourage the body of Christ to praise God even in turbulent times. They exhort the listeners, “our only appropriate response is to praise Him”. With their ultimate single before the release of ‘Here’s To The One We Love,’ the Swiss collective packs in straightforward and profound lyrics into positive vibes and catchy melodies.
