[Music] Unconditional – Austin Ludwig

Artist, producer and pastor Austin Ludwig today released an inspirational new single entitled “Unconditional” as a tribute to his personal spiritual journey.

Inspired by Revelation 21:4, “Unconditional” is a song about worshiping with no strings attached. Ludwig sees the world’s common assertation of feelings as truth as the downfall of society.

“Our feelings do not determine or change the worth of Jesus and the worship He is worthy of,” Ludwig said.

The single urges listeners to offer up their worship, even in the presence of tears and pain, to depend on Jesus on this side of heaven and look forward to what is to come for all of eternity. The way that I feel doesn’t change who you areSo hallelujah unconditional

“Unconditional” is a byproduct of and a tribute to Ludwig’s personal journey. Ludwig survived child abuse, loss and disappointment. Instead of focusing on those aspects of his life, the artist discovered an invitation into worship. In Ludwig’s first foster home, all he had was his beat-up guitar. He learned to play that guitar and sing to God in the midst of his tears and never looked back.

Ludwig hopes this new single is not only an inspiration but a gateway for listeners to look to Jesus no matter what they are going through. He’s excited to finally release it for people to listen and worship whenever they desire.

[Music] Nothing Back – Austin Ludwig

Artist, producer and pastor Austin Ludwig released the inspirational single, “Nothing Back,” to kick off 2022 – available now to stream/download.

“Nothing Back” is a song about complete surrender. The lyrics refer to the story of Mary pouring out a year’s worth of wages of expensive perfume on Jesus’ feet in a radical act of worship.

“Like Mary, for the rest of our lives we will be looking for extravagant ways to express our gratitude to Jesus and how much He is worth,” Ludwig said. “I hope this song inspires everyone to fully surrender 2022 – a year’s worth – to Jesus. He is worth that and so much more.”

Produced by Ludwig himself alongside the talented Spenser Boice, the song musically pushes the boundaries of traditional inspirational tracks. With a refreshing, bold sound and descriptive, meaningful lyrics the team hopes to point listeners to love Jesus all the more.

You hold nothing back from me
I’ll hold nothing back from you
I surrender everything
All my love I give to you

The song originated from a spontaneous moment during a corporate worship session. Although the studio version has a more indie-pop feel, this song is still impacting many during worship each time it is played.

Whether listeners are playing “Nothing Back” in their cars, or leading it during corporate worship, Ludwig’s newest single is sure to make a splash among the Christian community.

[Music] Consume Me – Austin Ludwig

Artist, producer, and pastor, Austin Ludwig releases his 3rd single, “Consume Me,” available now at digital and streaming outlets.

A song inspired by 1 Kings 19, among other passages, “Consume Me” reminds us that sometimes God invites us to encounter His presence through a gentle whisper or still small voice. “A whisper is not intense,” Ludwig shares, “but it is intimate and requires intention and attention to hear clearly. It requires nearness.”

“I’ve been on a journey where I discovered that intensity and intimacy are not always synonymous. God’s presence is as close as our turned attention,” Ludwig explains. “‘Consume Me’ is centered on the revelation that God doesn’t just want to permeate rooms and places, but He longs for every part of our being to become His dwelling place.”

The haunting production by Ludwig and Executive Producer, Spenser Boice, takes listeners on a journey that not only captures the mind, but also the heart. The song is full of unchanging truths of God conveyed in a fresh new way: I can’t go where you won’t be / I can’t hide what I know you’ll see / You’re as close as I let You be / So come consume me

These lyrics have resonated with many worshipers as Ludwig has led it over the years in various settings. “I think the line ‘You’re as close as I let You be’ has significantly resonated with many,” Ludwig remarks, “because it takes away this skewed idea that God still needs to show up. I think one of the greatest failures of the earlier Western Church is that we were trying to get God to be present with man, rather than man to be present with God.”

“Consume Me” is a powerful reminder that God’s presence is not a feeling, it is a promise. It’s the perfect song to conclude the year 2021 with. Ludwig has many songs in the works and will be releasing his first single of 2022 in early January. Ludwig is an artist to keep an eye on – with phenomenal lyrics and exceptional production – his music is sure to connect with listeners worldwide.

[Music] Breath Of The Father – Austin Ludwig

Austin Ludwig gives it all back in his newly released single, Breath of the Father.

Birthed out of a spontaneous worship moment at Ludwig’s church, Breath of the Father is a response to give God back what He first gave us.

“The heart behind Breath of the Father is that we would recognize our absolute need for Holy Spirit to worship God. Jesus tells us in John 4 that a time will come when the true worshippers will worship in spirit and in truth. This asserts that God’s spirit, His breath, is a necessary part of becoming true worshippers,” says Ludwig. “Worship is simply this exchange of giving back to God what He first gave us. We continuously pour out as we are poured into.”

Written and produced by Ludwig and Spenser Boice, the team penned the song to help provide new language around the role of the Holy Spirit in worship.

“I think that in corporate settings we still to this day have a bent toward looking externally for God’s presence. God does choose to manifest His presence in many ways through signs and wonders, but I believe it’s critical that we remember the New Covenant is all about indwelling presence,” says Ludwig. “Holy Spirit is not just God with you, but is God in you. When we live in this reality, we recognize that Holy Spirit can stir our hearts with affection for Jesus. Worship doesn’t have to be something we muster up in our own strength, but we can invite Holy Spirit to pastor us into becoming true worshippers.”

As Worship Pastor of Riverstone Church in Kennesaw, Ga., Ludwig says Breath of the Father has already resonated with the church’s community.

“Breath of the Father has been great for our church because it is a reminder that worship is impossible in our own strength,” he says. “I also feel like this song begets unity, especially when we sing the bridge which was inspired by Acts 2. I believe God breathes on unity in a special way.”

Although the song was written for corporate worship, Ludwig says he hopes that people are reminded that the greatest worship leader of all is the Holy Spirit.

“I hope that first and foremost this song invites people into a deeper appreciation for Holy Spirit. We don’t need some man or woman on the stage to lead us into worship, but wherever we are, Holy Spirit can inspire our hearts toward deeper affection for Jesus,” he shares. “I want listeners to be filled as they sing and recognize that we are actually incapable of truly worshipping without the revelation that Holy Spirit gives us.”
