Blessing Offor Sets Mark As Capitol CMG Most Streamed Debut Album

No. 1 singer / multi-instrumentalist Blessing Offor has had quite the week since the release of his full-length debut My Tribe – now available everywhere. My Tribe is officially the BIGGEST STREAMING DEBUT from a solo male artist at Capitol CMG, sitting at nearly 4 MILLION streams, and propelling an appearance on the cover of Apple’s New Music Daily playlist.

The album – which Billboard calls “a testament to his own hard-fought journey” – currently appears in the Top 20 position on three Billboard charts – Christian /Gospel Albums, Top 200 Christian/Gospel Albums, and Current Digital Albums charts. Blessing appears to be “Rollin’” along, surpassing 1 MILLION monthly listeners on Spotify, and continuously proving that he is an artist not to be missed. Stream My Tribe at the link HERE.

Since the release of his debut EP Brighter Days, Blessing has been named both an Amazon Breakthrough Artist of 2023 and Pandora Artist To Watch in 2023. He’s quickly established himself as an artist’s artist, an authentic songwriter and virtuoso musician.

His EP’s title track soared up the charts, a bonafide hit that hit #2 on the Billboard Christian Airplay charts and stayed there for 7 weeks. Its success even saw Kelly Clarkson come calling, offering a slot on her show – his national television debut.

This was quickly followed by his first radio No. 1 – “The Goodness” (TobyMac feat. Blessing Offor). The confluence of musical styles and lyrical content in his repertoire have created a first-rate gumbo dubbed, “the genre of humanity,” as Blessing explores themes of humanity and connection on his debut album My Tribe, available now.

[Music] Look Up To The Sky – Lathan Warlick Ft. Blessing Offor

Lathan Warlick, the genre-bending artist, rapper, songwriter, and viral music sensation, announces today’s release of his new single, “Look Up To The Sky (feat. Blessing Offor).” Click HERE to listen. As the first single to release from his upcoming EP, Let’s Be Honest, dropping August 12, the EP’s pre-order begins today. Click HERE for more information.

“’Look Up To The Sky’ was a song to encourage the listeners,” Warlick shares. “We all go through difficult situations or have to face something tough, so I wanted to give the listeners a song that will give them the motivation to keep their head up and push through. With my upcoming Let’s Be Honest EP, it’s me being 100% transparent with the audience about things I’ve faced since coming into the music industry. This project also highlights my faith and is overall just uplifting.”

Signing to the label RECORDS in 2020, a joint venture with Sony Music, Warlick has been releasing music for years, making a name for himself through collaborations within various genres. His debut EP, 2020’s My Way, showcased duets with country artists such as Tyler Hubbard (FGL), Lauren Alaina, Russell Dickerson, and RaeLynn, while he has shared the stage with Kirk Franklin, Morgan Wallen, Jimmie Allen, Nelly, BRELAND, among others.

It’s clear that Warlick’s music and message steer clear of genre labels, instead allowing others to form their own opinions about his style. “I want to make music that still points you to God, but that you don’t have to only play in church,” he says.

It was one life-changing day in 2011 after coming face-to-face with a 45-caliber pistol when he was awakened to his creative purpose. Identifying himself now as a “positive artist” who reflects on his upbringing in a rough neighborhood, Warlick has gained a transformative perspective as a Christ-follower, husband, and father of two in his music.

Warlick has been featured in major outlets such as Forbes and People, and to date, he has 1.7M followers on TikTok.
