“Still” is Amanda Lindsey Cook’s new single giving language to the verse, “Be still and know I am God,” a Psalm written by King David during a chaotic time when trusting God was a choice he had to make. When faced with fear, Amanda learned to surrender and lift her fears to God—rather than trying to extinguish them herself—and watch them fall into perfect peace.
“Still” brings us back to the peace of God that is always present and accessible in every situation, no matter how hopeless we may feel.
