Joel Barnes, known as Joe L, a Kentucky native, is a songwriter and worship leader at The Shepherd’s Tent in Covington, Georgia. He not only has a passion for song writing, but also burns to teach and equip others with the tools needed to create and release their sound of authenticity.

In April of 2020, Joe L, alongside Maverick City released the song, “Promises,” which has now been viewed over 140M times on YouTube. As a songwriter, Joe L has co-written “In Spite of Me” by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, “Not Holding Back” by JJ Hairston, and “Ruins” with Maverick City.

Today, 4X Grammy Award-winning rap artist / Reach Records co-founder Lecrae is back and doubling down on his red-hot momentum with a new single. The indie giant is “Still Here” and standing strong in the face of adversity for his first solo release of 2024.

Speaking on the single, Lecrae shares, “I want people to know that even if you feel left behind, people are still here… God is still here.” The trailblazing artist is embracing all aspects of the human experience in his latest entry – the good, the bad, and the traumatic. “Still Here” is a personal exploration for Lecrae, highlighting his will to keep fighting, asking for help, and having the courage to be vulnerable through every trial.

The first shall be last, and the last shall be first.”

DREAM Label Group is pleased to announce that they have signed worship group Young Society Band to it’s DREAM Worship roster of artists.  Their new song “Anthem” is available today on all digital retail and streaming services providers.  The song was written by Alexis Keesee and Zachary Traylor and produced by Scotty Mearig.  The group share the heart behind their new song.

“‘Anthem’ was written by the Young Society songwriting team, including Alexis Keesee and Zachary Traylor.” They say, “This song started as a simple melody but became a powerful declaration for this generation. We wanted a song that would be a Young Society battle cry.

This idea evolved from wanting to see young people rise up and be the change in our nation, knowing WE are the future. We represent God and we have the power to influence the people around us and demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit.” The bridge of this song declares, “We don’t JUST want revival; we want to know YOU more” meaning we must seek God first and then the revival fire of God becomes the evidence in our lives.

Many people say, “we want revival, we want revival,” not always knowing what that means exactly. We hope it will inspire others to not be shaken by the darkness of this world, but to instead rise up and live loudly for Jesus.

Today (May 31), AGES releases “You Again.” An extension of River Valley Worship, AGES is the sound of the young people of River Valley Church.

AGES came to life in many separate hearts. You could sit down with any given member of the band to listen to their piece of the story, and you’ll see God’s hand in its making. AGES is a band, but their dream is for it to be so much more than that. They believe that God is doing something special in the next generation and desire to be a part of it.
