Love is in the air and Red Street Records’ Cade Thompson has penned a honest and tender-hearted love song titled “Dear Future Wife”.

Written as a letter to his future spouse, the intimate lyrics make listeners feel they are stumbling across Thompson’s personal journal.

“Maybe you are feeling broken / But I know you’re beautiful / And the God who loves us both Is gonna make you whole” See full lyrics below.

The 20-year-old opened up about the song, saying, “I wrote the song Dear Future Wife last year in the middle of quarantine. If I am honest I think about my future wife a lot. What does she look like? Have I met her? How can I be a better man for her before I meet her? I think a lot of people can relate to those same questions regarding relationships. I can get distracted by the temptations of this world and this song is an anthem to help me keep the fight to become the best man I can be for my future wife. Through this song I hope listeners will be reminded that the waiting is worth it, as you trust God with your journey.”

“Dear Future Wife” is produced and arranged by Jay DeMarcus, Red Street Records founder. DeMarcus’ has brought a musical diversity and expertise to the track that perfectly completes the song. “Dear Future Wife” is a must-hear track for anyone looking to fill their heart with a little extra love.

In addition to this exclusive release, Thompson’s current  hit “Every Step of the Way,’ is being played on Christian AC and Hot AC/CHR radio across the country including KLOVE.

OYE emerges with a fresh sound titled “YOURS FOREVER” featuring her husband Kelvocal.

The song is inspired by Romans 8:30… And those whom He predestined, He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified.

This should be our daily declaration because this is who we are in Christ. Produced by The Amazing E’Keyz

LYRICS

(CHORUS)
I am yours forever
In immortality I dwell
Justified and glorified
In you eternally I dwell

(SOLO1)
The life I now live is yours
In you I live, move and have my being
You gave me beauty for ashes
Redeemed and justified
I’m free from sin guilt and shame
In you I’m satisfied
It is by your grace I am here today
It is by your grace I am here today

(CHORUS)
I am yours forever
In immortality I dwell
Justified and glorified
In you eternally I dwell

(Verse 2)
In you I live forevermore
All my strength and hope is found in you.
The essence of my being
My route my destination
My glory and my peace
The one who dwells within me.
Your works on the cross kept me here today
It is by your Grace I am here today

(CHORUS)
I am yours forever
In immortality I dwell
Justified and glorified
In you eternally I dwell

Bridge: I am yours (3x)
Forever I am yours
I am yours (3x)
Sweet Jesus I am yours

Protek Illasheva follows up the success of his ‘Counter Culture’ album which had appearances from the likes of Vector and MI with the Amapiano-driven ‘Wahala for who no get Jesus’.

‘Wahala for who no get Jesus’ is proof that secular music and gospel music can be cross-pollinated safely and easily. This theme has been the major message of the new school gospel act.

Protek proves to be in tune with trends as he continues to hold down his place as leader of the hip millennial Christians.

‘Wahala for Who No Get Jesus’ reinforces the established fact that Jesus is the only way, the truth and the light.
