On Friday, July 26, GRAMMY-nominated and Dove award-winning singer songwriters and modern hymn writing duo Keith & Kristyn Getty will release the new single, “Scarlet Thread,” in a first-time collaboration with multi GRAMMY and Dove-award-winning artist Zach Williams. The song explores new sonic spaces for the Gettys, infusing Williams’ signature gritty tones with the Irish and Roots-style music that has characterized several of the couple’s recordings.
The new song takes listeners on a powerful lyrical journey that knits together millennia of Biblical imagery where blood red is the color of redemption and love. It was written by the Gettys and award-winning songwriters Michael Farren and Tony Wood.
