I wanted to remind my heart that true flourishing isn’t external but internal. I wanted to remind myself that though heaven and earth gives way, Christ remains the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Honor & Glory, the worship project founded by members of veteran Christian rock mainstay Disciple, has released their first single with “Battle Belongs.” The song is released in partnership with BEC Recordings.
“Battle Belongs” is Honor & Glory’s take on a Phil Wickham hit, recasting the original in soaring guitars and anthemic vocals.
“I love the truth that this song brings to light— the competing perspectives, my perspective and God’s perspective,” lead singer Kevin Young shares. “It’s so relatable for everyone. When we survey a situation, our perspective is limited in scope and almost always has a negative outlook. But when we allow ourselves to see things the way God sees them, we see a passionate God who loves his children, a God who can turn around any situation, a God who is ready to fight and win any battle on our behalf.”
The song is the first taste of Honor & Glory’s debut, which is due out later this year. The band is comprised of Kevin Young, Josiah Prince, Joey West, and Andrew Stanton of Disciple, with the addition of Dane Allen of LOYALS. “Battle Belongs” was also produced by Josiah Prince.
Honor & Glory was born from a mutual desire to create an experience that was focused entirely on offering honor in recognition of God’s glory. They have brought that rock and roll worship heart to festival stages this summer, with more dates on the calendar for the fall. Through all of it, Kevin Young says the goal is simple: “It’s all about God. We’re trying to be a reflection of Him, a reflection of how great and wonderful He is.”
Dream Records artists We Are Leo and Neon Feather have joined forces to create a new song titled “You Show Me Love” releasing today to all digital retail outlets. This fresh pop sound was produced by Neon Feather and lends a lyrical worship style of encouragement that God loves his children.
“The best way I can describe what “You Show Me Love” means to me, is to think about the final scene from the 1st episode of season 1 of The Chosen, where Jesus shows up and meets someone who was in a dark place. I see myself in that story: I was lost and afraid, but Jesus met me there, redeemed me, and showed me love. Neon and I had been talking about doing a song together. Last year, I sent him over a demo of me playing piano and humming some melody parts. He took it and turned it into this pulsing, mesmerizing beat. After being inspired by the “You Show Me Love” theme, I got to work to craft lyrics that expressed my story of redemption and God’s love, that would vibe with the feel of Neon Feather’s work.” – David Duffield
With close to 30 million global streams to date, We Are Leo is currently working on a series of new single titles going into 2022.

4x GRAMMY winning duo and Curb | Word Entertainment recording artist for KING & COUNTRY unveil their brand new single “Relate,” Today Friday, August 6.
The new track exemplifies for KING & COUNTRY’s ability to write instant earworms while crafting lyrics that hit straight to the heart. Over a bed of synth pads, shimmering guitars, and driving percussion, Joel and Luke Smallbone make an impassioned call to arms for unity – while we all have our differences, we all share the basic human experiences. When we focus on what brings us closer rather than what drives us apart, we can begin to understand each other and “relate” to one another in a profound way.
Joel and Luke share in a statement: “’Relate’ is really the ongoing search for compassion and empathy amidst our differences. For us, music has always been about the sense of finding community and connection through the universal language of song. We’re brought together in a beautiful way by that lyric or melody regardless of our backgrounds, differences or where we’re from… As the chorus conveys, ‘I don’t know what it’s like to be you, you don’t know what it’s like to be me, but what if we’re all the same in different kinds of ways, can you relate?’”
