[Music] Every Morning – Aaron Shust

Aaron Shust waits for the promise of the dawn in his new single, Every Morning.

Produced by Sam Hart and written by Shust, Hart, and Tony Wood, Every Morning reminds listeners that God’s mercies are new every morning.

For the Dove Award-winning artist and songwriter, the song hits close to home.

“Some days you just can’t do anything right,” Shust says. “Recently, our two oldest boys had a rough day. As we gathered silently in the living room before bedtime, tears streamed down faces that felt they had transgressed one time too many. My wife asked, “What does the Bible say about God’s mercies?” A moment later Daniel answered with hope dawning on his face, “That they’re new every morning?” He couldn’t wait to go to bed and wake up with a clean slate. The slate was already clean, but tomorrow they would feel it far more deeply.”

Inspired by personal testimonies of hope and verses in Lamentations, Every Morning encourages listeners to trust in God’s faithfulness — even in the darkest of moments.

“The author of Lamentations trusted in God’s faithfulness. Even in the middle of the blackest night, even during the most dire circumstances, he refused to forget that God’s mercies are new every morning. In the center of this somber poem beams a ray of hope that shines like a candle in a dark room. We cling to such hope and wait for the promise of the dawn,” says Shust. “When all seems bleak, we trust in God’s faithfulness.”

With the release, Shust hopes that Every Morning leaves listeners with a sense of joyful hope, even if they find themselves in a place of sorrow.

“When God created the world, He created night followed by day. There’s a poetic beauty in the fact that day follows night. No need to fear God’s rejection for yesterday’s shortcomings — His way is to forgive, to restore, and love,” he shares. “My greatest hope would be that God Himself would speak directly to a person, right where they are, while listening. That the song would be a vehicle for the Spirit to work.”

[Music] We Need You – Flourish Music

Flourish Music’s new single, We Need You, is available now on digital platforms.

The Austin, Texas-based collective, who’s heart is to equip the local church with meaningful and creative gospel-centered songs, declares the need for a Savior in their latest release.

“We Need You is an anthem of desperation. In a culture that tells us to worry, fear, be anxious and make our own way, this song is a reminder that our true hunger and thirst can only be satisfied in Christ. We need him every hour, every day, every moment,” says Jonathan Hunt of Flourish Music.

Produced by Michael Guillot and Austin Davidson, and written by Tyler Daniel, Guillot and Davidson, We Need You reflects the heart cry of a community dependent on the presence of God.

“When we surrender we give up our own desires for the sake of the Father’s desires. We don’t do this simply out of dutiful submission, but out of a desperate longing for God, for His ways, and His presence — this is what it means to hunger and thirst for the Lord,” says Hunt. “We are declaring that we are no longer in control and that His ways are better. God alone can truly satisfy. We long for that full and complete satisfaction in him.”

Flourish Music hopes We Need You will leave listeners desiring more of God and desperately craving His word and presence above all else.

“We hope that this is a song that the Church adopts as a heart cry. We hope that this song is shared among friends and family because it is a truth that we all need to be singing,” Hunt shares. “We hope that worship leaders connect personally with this song in their private times of worship and then feel called to lead it corporately. We hope that if nothing else, God is glorified, and when worshippers are at a loss for words on how to respond to the Lord, We Need You becomes a memorable anthem for their lives.”

[Music Video] That’s The Power – Hillsong Worship

GRAMMY Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling Hillsong Worship, announces the release of their latest single, That’s The Power (feat. Benjamin Hastings).” Available today, the song is the second track to drop from the group’s forthcoming live album “These Same Skies” and includes the extended worship track “That’s the Power (Reprise) [feat. Benjamin Hastings].” The highly anticipated compilation is slated to release worldwide on November 5, and is available now for preorder.

“I’m reminded with this song, that the Power in the Name of Jesus isn’t threatened by the power of the enemies camp, it’s in fact the other way around!,” says Hillsong Worship’s Alexander Pappas. “The power of the name of Jesus is both dangerous and the final say to all the enemies plans. We have access to the same power that raised Christ from the dead and I think that is a profound statement that we as the church should never tire of declaring.”

Pappas continues, “My prayer is that this song would be a weapon for the church. A weapon to be used in the triumph and employed in the trials. A song for your situation and a declaration over those we stand in the gap for. I cannot wait to hear some of the testimonies of breakthrough as faith is stirred and worshippers rise up.”

This recent release follows the group’s latest singles, “Never Walk Alone (feat. Mi-kaisha Rose)” and “Hope of The Ages” with Hillsong’s Reuben Morgan and two-time GRAMMY nominated Cody Carnes. Since its August debut, the collaborative “Hope of The Ages” track has garnered more than 1.1 million global streams.
