[Download] Red And Green – Jonathan McReynolds

Grammy-winning gospel singer-songwriter Jonathan McReynolds is set to bring a new sound to the holiday season with the release of his first-ever Christmas EP, Red & Green, out November 22 via Life Room Label/Capitol Christian Music Group / Motown Gospel. Featuring an eclectic blend of original songs, Red & Green is the perfect soundtrack for any festive celebration or a cozy night at home by the fire.

Known for his signature voice and heartfelt lyrics, McReynolds brings his take to Christmas music with a body of work that is entirely his own—no holiday covers, just fresh, uplifting tracks that capture the spirit of the season.

To accompany the project announcement, McReynolds is sharing the lead single and title track, “Red & Green,” which is available now on all major streaming platforms. “Christmas comes at the end of the year. And sometimes that year took a lot out of us,” says McReynolds. “The cost and the benefit of being able to put on your red and green and get in the spirit of the season and remind yourself of God’s greatest gift to us gets higher and higher. I wanted to make some original music to reflect that.”

In addition to the new music, McReynolds will embark on the Red & Green tour, a six-city concert series kicking off in Chicago on December 1, and wrapping up in Atlanta on December 21. The tour will allow fans to experience McReynolds’ original Christmas songs live, creating an unforgettable holiday experience.

McReynolds’ holiday project is just the beginning of what’s shaping up to be a huge 2025 for the singer. With exciting announcements on the horizon—including a book release—fans can expect even more creative projects and milestones from him in the coming year.

We Are Messengers Debut Irish Version Of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”

Curb Records recording artist We Are Messengersbrings tidings of good news and great joy with their version of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”

Sticking to a traditional arrangement of the beloved carol, the group injects flavors of lead singer Darren Mulligan’s native Ireland into the celebratory selection. Accented by tribal beats, fiddle and mandolin, Mulligan jubilantly proclaims the birth of Christ by way of this timeless classic. Additionally, his wife, Heidi, provides background vocals.

The release heralds We Are Messengers’ upcoming holiday EP, Rejoice! (A Celtic Christmas), a five-song collection set to bow Nov. 15, 2024.

The announcement of their new Christmas set comes on the heels of last month’s surprise drop of fresh original “Give Thanks to God (feat. Matt Maher),” a congregational-friendly anthem Mulligan and Maher wrote together.

Music Industry Veterans Form New Nashville-based Rock Band LO CLOUD

With decades of musical experience with previous bands (Sanctus Real and Kutless), the newly formed Nashville-based rock band LO CLOUD releases its debut single, “Sleepwalker,” available everywhere today.

LO CLOUD is Matt Hammitt, Nick de Partee, and Jake Rye. The guys draw their musical inspiration from the 90s and early 2000s groups like Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, Weezer, and Third Eye Blind, and the result is a nostalgic blend of fresh hooks and production led by member Jake Rye.

“Drawing from the sound of our youth, these songs explore the bittersweet reality of life and dreams, while preserving the hope that our best days may still be ahead of us,” shares LO CLOUD.

The group came about earlier this year with Hammitt and de Partee started writing together again when everything clicked. They quickly realized that the songs that were being created simply couldn’t have been written earlier in their respective music careers. There is something about the years lived, and the experiences that those years bring, that has allowed them to tap into something extremely meaningful and authentic for this project. The songs LO CLOUD has written are about life, family, pain, regret, and the reality that life is imperfectly beautiful and short, and we must all make the most of the life we’ve been given.

Taking those ideas, the debut single, “Sleepwalker,”  is about rejecting life being on autopilot. They add, “It’s about finding the courage to recognize and accept the ways we’ve failed to fully live, so we can wake up to a life of greater intention, passion, and purpose.”

Between the group, Hammitt has won three Dove Awards and was nominated for two GRAMMY Awards with the band Sanctus Real. He also just signed a new deal as a solo artist with Gotee Records. de Partee was the lead guitarist and songwriter for the band Kutless where he co-wrote many songs with the band including the Top 10 radio singles “Carry Me To The Cross” and “Need.”

He also was a staff writer with Capitol CMG with various song cuts with multiple artists including Colton Dixon and Newsboys. Rye’s production credits include more than one thousand songs including co-writing and co-producing the song “On Your Knees” on “Born Again” for the Newsboys. He also has had three singles in the Top 20 at alt-rock radio and a number 1 single on the Billboard Rock chart in 2022.

Elle Limebear releases “Soar.”

It is a prayer put to music based on Isaiah 40: “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;  but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” –Limebear

‘Ash In The Wind’ reminds us of a mix of old Skillet and Linkin Park, which I’m a huge fan of. Korey produced it, and it definitely merges live performance with modern recording techniques. –Skillet
