Anike Releases Personal New Song “Ultrasound”

Christian rap artist Anike, formerly known as Wande, releases her new single, “Ultrasound,” out now via Reach Records. One of her most intimate and vulnerable offerings to date, the empowering track is an ode to new motherhood, and a unique reflection of Anike’s deep appreciation for God’s guidance.

Earlier this week, Anike shared the news of her pregnancy with the world. The mother-to-be uploaded a breathtaking visualizer to Instagram that coincided with the announcement. In the video, the camera slowly zooms out as Anike embraces the love and light that parenting brings.

Now, “Ultrasound” crystalizes her tangible excitement for motherhood, bound together by a hard-won sense of profound fulfillment.

Speaking on the new single, Anike shares: “‘Ultrasound’ is a song celebrating the next chapter in my life as I step into motherhood. With major life changes, a natural human reaction may be to freak out. However, God has shown me that He’s had the blueprint to my life all along, so I can celebrate knowing He’s in control and has great plans for me and my upcoming child’s life.

The song sonically displays the feeling of something coming to life from calm to electric. The words are encouragement, a prayer that I can speak into my future child’s life as well as words that can still speak life into God’s children both young and old.”

Adding to her recent highlights, just last week, Anike’s song “WAKANDE” was included in the “Sleeper Picks” segment of the Joe Budden Podcast. Further solidifying her status as a rising star, the single is a fan favorite from her debut album, EXIT. The unexpected co-sign further underscores Anike’s growing influence across Christian music and cements her position as a force to be reckoned with.

Andrew Ripp Drops “Fences”

Soulful singer-songwriter Andrew Ripp releases new music with the song “Fences.”

“Fences” is a tune inspired by my neighbor while standing in the wreckage of her property after the March 3rd 2020 tornado tore down our street. The view had changed dramatically because all of the fences and trees were down. While standing where the fences used to block view she spoke these beautiful words that inspired this song… “isn’t it beautiful, let’s leave the fences down and plant gardens where they once were.” thanks for the song, Dorinda 😉 we love you my friend -Ripp

The Rock Music Embraces Grace With “Loved Me At My Worst”

Proclaiming God’s love from the heart of Utah to the ends of the earth for two decades, acclaimed worshippers The Rock Music deliver one of their most personal and poignant singles to date, “Loved Me At My Worst.”

A balm of grace for the troubled soul, the track was penned by group members Steele Croswhite, Caleb Yetton and Thomas Scribner in collaboration with Walter Halliwell, and was produced by Joel Pack and Jordan Clark.

“Loved Me At My Worst” uproots seeds of shame and despair sowed in waywardness, steadfastly declaring devotion to an all-powerful, all-merciful God: “Jesus, I can’t hide from You/I don’t know why I’d want to/‘Cause You loved me at my worst.”

lovedmeatmyworst scaled

“It’s very easy for me to sink into a pattern of insecurity, self-doubt and even shame over sin and personal failure, but the single most motivating and life-changing characteristic of God in my own life is His love,” shares The Rock Music founder and leader Steele Croswhite. “Romans 5:8 states, ‘…While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’ It gives me tremendous hope to know that He loves me at my worst, and in fact lavishes His love upon me in that moment. It’s a powerful reminder that I don’t need to run from God, but towards Him.”

“When we’re honest and real with each other, we see that others often feel the same way we do,” adds The Rock Music’s Caleb Yetton. “This perspective has been huge in my own life, specifically in my brotherhood with Steele. We remind each other of the truth of the Gospel and that the feelings we might have of condemnation are never from our Lord.”

A collective of Spirit-led, Christ-centered worshippers birthed from The Rock Church near Salt Lake City, The Rock Music’s foundational mission is artfully articulated in “Loved Me At My Worst.” “Here in Utah, there is such a hunger and thirst for the mercy and grace of Jesus,” Croswhite explains.

“We want our Latter-day Saints and Mormon neighbors to know and receive the gift of His full saving grace. Shame has gripped so many, and people are striving to earn their salvation from a works-based platform. Even in our congregation many have come from this background, so hearing God’s truth on repeat is essential for us all.”

“God’s grace is worth singing about,” Yetton concludes. “It’s how we are saved and how we are sustained. God sees what I have done and the motives of my heart, yet He has still poured out His love on me. I don’t have to run from Him because He has already shown me His love at my worst, and I want to love others like that as well.”
