“DADDY” is a song to remind us that God’s Love is steadfast, unceasing, unchanging and unfailing. In a world where love always come with a price, God’s love does not bargain, His love is unconditional.

“At a moment when I doubted God’s love in my life through challenges and difficulties, I woke up to a reassurance the Bible says in Prov 3:5-6 (Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths), this scripture gave me assurance when I felt like there was no hope.

I had the confidence that no matter the challenge, God’s hand will always carry me and make a way, trusting him that he will always come true. Her latest single “Eyin Oluwa” is a song that was inspired by the Holy Spirit in her place of worship.

“It is a song of the clarion call to praise the Lord, just as the title states; Eyin Oluwa which means “ Praise The Lord”. I am not Yoruba, so when the song came, I didn’t understand what it meant but with the help of my featured artist, Mr. Sola Soetan who happened to co-produce the song, I got a clearer understanding of the song and with this, we both sat and did the finishing touches.

As weeks went by and as I meditated on the song, a message to us all was given which you will see at the end of the video”, Maudlyn said.

Today (June 16), Matthew West shares a new version of “Before You Ask Her” with his teen daughter, Lulu on this Friday right before Father’s Day. It’s a heartwarming song Matthew wrote for his 2 daughters about the boy they will eventually marry. They performed the track at his headlining show at the Ryman Auditorium last year.
