The Rock Music, a collective of Spirit-led, Christ-centered worshippers flourishing for more than two decades in the heart of Utah, is set to bow to The Future Is Sure on July 14. Produced by Sam Hart (Aaron Shust), Joel Pack, Jordan Clark, and Nate Pyfer, the seven-song EP features five originals along with two beloved classics reimagined in the acclaimed ensemble’s signature style.

Celebrating the certainty of the Good News, The Future Is Sure delivers such standout tracks as “Mercy,” an intimate and yearning response of worship co-penned by Sam Hart along with The Rock Music’s Steele Croswhite, Thomas Scribner and Caleb Yetton; “Not Like Mine,” a tender worship ballad by Croswhite pledging total devotion to the Lord; and the soaring pop anthem and latest single “Saved By Grace.” The latter cut features a guest turn from Nashville-based worship duo For The Fatherless and was co-written by Croswhite and For The Fatherless’ Brian Yak.

“With conviction and clarity, Brian and I penned ‘Saved By Grace’ in the span of an afternoon,” shares Croswhite. “It was written with those who have struggled with religious legalism in mind. Our congregation, The Rock Church, is located in Utah, where less than three percent of the culture identifies as Christian.

Although many in our region have heard of Jesus, they do not understand the radically free gift of salvation, grace, and forgiveness offered to us through His sacrifice. As the Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9, ‘For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.’”

The Future Is Sure also spotlights The Rock Music’s take on the stirring African American spiritual “Give Me Jesus” and a reinterpretation of the popular modern hymn “How Deep The Father’s Love,” alongside the original selections birthed from the Salt Lake City-based collective’s mission to bring glory to Jesus while evoking worship from the Church.

“Woven throughout the EP are themes of grace, mercy, holiness, repentance, and worship,” Croswhite adds. “In collaborating with multiple producers and songwriters, our prayer was to release a body of work that is filled with longing and hope, providing expressions of both corporate worship and intimate moments of communion with the Lord.”

Nigerian gospel singer Jaybest popularly known as Oni John Ayomide has brought out another of his best tune and it’s titled ‘JESU’.

Jesu is a worship medley born out of true salvation with the motive of drawing souls closer to GOD.

According to Jaybest, he says, trust wholly in Christ, rely on his suffering, and beware of seeking to be justified in any other way than by his righteousness. Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient for salvation.

Seasoned singer/songwriter and worship leader Brad Alden revealed a new song of worship over the weekend titled “Awake the Soul In Me”. The song was performed live at Coastline Community Church this past Sunday, where Alden currently serves, and it quickly debuted in the Top 50 on iTunes  Christian Singles Chart.

Brad Alden Unveils “Awake The Soul In Me” Recorded in Austin, TX, Alden penned the inspirational track with his wife Danielle Mowry, and Tyler Ray Logan. When sitting down to write the song, the trio were discussing different things going on in the world, and their own lives, and looking to scripture for inspiration – they became consumed and passionate about the idea of God bringing new life, and a fresh wind to dry bones and dry spirits.

When sharing about the song, Alden says, “This song is a prayer really,” shares Alden. “It speaks to the lost, to the new believer, to someone’s heart during an altar call, or even to a seasoned Christian who is drying up on the inside and needs a fresh fire, or needs to be reminded of why they love the Lord and what He has done in their life.”

Javen is roaring back strong after a five-year recording hiatus since he dropped his last album, Grace (JCM/Tyscot). The veteran vocalist has dropped a pulsating new congregational worship singalong track, “Year of Yes,” which features Tim Bowman Jr. who is best known for his Billboard Top Ten hits such as “Fix Me” and the No. 1 cut, “I’m Good.”

“I wrote the song with a buddy of mine named Mickey,” Javen says. “We are on a teaching series at the church called, the Year of Yes. In the fall of last year, God told me this would be an explosive year of opportunities.

He compelled me to tell the church to get a `YES’ in their spirit, and to get ready for an outcome of divine blessings.
