Tedashii Releases New Single “MMA Freestyle”David Leonard Releases “All Because Of You”

Today (Aug 18), Tedashii releases new music with “MMA Freestyle,” a hard-hitting, vulnerable straight up rap record speaking to the daily war we face against the enemy and the choice to keep going.

It’s no secret that Tedashii has been through a lot in his life. He’s a living example that no matter what life throws at you, if you’re still here, it is for a reason.

Tedashii has always been vulnerable about his struggles sharing about the loss of his 1 year old son Chase on “Below Paradise” and more recently on his latest EP, “This Time Around 2,” being vulnerable of his own self esteem on the introspective track “Mirror Talk.”

Whether it is through his music or on social media, Tedashii has a beacon of hope for those going through tough times themselves.

Produced by Carvello, “MMA Freestyle” builds on this story as Tedashii shares more of his personal struggle through complex cadences and word play all the while acknowledging God’s love and favor in all of it.

After sharing this clip of the freestyle on K104FM last week, A Dallas based mainstream hip hop and R&B radio station, Tedashii officially announced the release of the song yesterday saying “The higher you rise the stronger the wind. So the loftier your life, the stronger the opposition. This song is about the fight against constant resistance.”

Following the release of his single “Texas Pete” on the Reach Records Summer Twenty Three with Lecrae and Trip Lee, pointing back to the days they occupied the city of Houston with a young and fiery passion to unashamedly represent the gospel through Hip Hop, “MMA Freestyle” is Tedashii’s second release of 2023 and solidifies that he can hang with the best of them.

Tedashii has explored various sounds in his career. Records like “Dum Dum” or “Go hard” early in his career showed his natural ability to rap and hunger to share the gospel. More recently, records like “Gotta Live” ft Jordan Feliz and “Holy Ground” from his latest EP, “This Time Around 2,” explore a wider variety of styles like electronic dance and afrobeat.

Tedashii has always been someone inspired by all genres of music and felt called to create in those different lanes.

However, first with “Texas Pete” and now with “MMA Freestyle,” Tedashii is making it known that the rapper he came to be known as is very much still here and he has a story to tell.

Jeremy Rosado Shares Soaring Debut Radio Single

NBC The Voice finalist and Capitol CMG recording artist Jeremy Rosado’s debut radio single, “Come and See” is impacting stations nationwide and now available, along with a lyric video, across all DSP’s today. A soaring pop selection co-penned with Jeff Pardo and Hank Bentley, Rosado wrote the song for his sister, who — after nearly two decades of addiction — is currently months into her sobriety journey.

“I wrote this song believing that one day she would be in the crowd singing this song as the testimony of her life,” Rosado said just after his dream became reality as he performed at a concert and looked out into the audience to see his sister — hands raised, eyes closed — singing every word to “Come and See” by heart.

“This song means so much to me simply because of the desperate place I wrote it out of. And here I am watching God perform a miracle in front of my eyes,” Rosado attests. “I didn’t know that God was going to give me a miracle this fast.”

Moreover, during the course of the past year, he’s written more than 50 songs with some of the genre’s best lyricists — several of which he’ll roll out in the months to come as he continues to handpick contenders for an eventual full-length project.

Natalie Layne “Amen” Music Video

Today (Aug 18), soul-inspired pop singer/songwriter, pianist, worship leader, and producer Natalie Layne releases the official music video for “Amen.” This is the title track from Layne’s Centricity Music debut EP which dropped last month (Jul 28). Joy is the common thread woven throughout her introductory recording that speaks to the power of finding the good in moments that don’t necessarily feel good.

Inspired by the simple kindness of a neighbor waving and smiling as they passed in her neighborhood, Layne co-wrote the lead, title track with hit-making songwriters Benji Cowart and David Spencer. “Amen,” as well as the whole album’s sonic direction, is meant to be as welcoming as a friend and as cohesive as that of a seasoned artist, with the messages behind the music stemming from her personal experience.

Cory Asbury Debuts “Misunderstood” From Highly-Anticipated Album ‘Pioneer’

Today, multi-platinum-selling, GRAMMY Award nominee, Cory Asbury released a new song from his highly-anticipated fifth studio album, Pioneer. The song, “Misunderstood,” incorporates moving steel guitar and piano, backing lyrics that speak to seasons of anxiety and depression, and the outside pressures to be perfect through it all.

This is the third song released from Pioneer, following “Kind” and “These Are the Days”, which have both produced millions of streams in the few weeks they have been available. Listen to “Misunderstood”.

“A few years ago, my wife went through an intense time of anxiety and postpartum depression,” shares Asbury. “She wanted so badly to be “normal” in the middle of it all. I kept having to remind her, “It’s ok to not be ok.” We’re all broken. Being perfect isn’t the point of this whole “being human” experiment. I hope sharing this experience helps others not feel so alone in their journey to contentment.”

Bethel Music’s David Funk Releases ‘Beauty’ EP

Today, multi-talented singer and Bethel Music artist David Funk released the Beauty EP which includes two new versions of his single “Beauty.” The additional versions include a stunning spontaneous live version called “Beauty/We Fall Down” as well as an intimate acoustic version recorded as part of Bethel Music’s ongoing Pine Street Sessions.

Originally appearing on Come Up Here, “Beauty” serves as a reminder that God sent his son in his image to earth to allow us to know Him. Listen to the Beauty EP.

“One of the main themes of Beauty is how Jesus came to reveal the Father to us: through His life, His death, and His resurrection,” shares David. “We were inspired by, and tried to capture the heart of, Colossians 1:15–20, as well as the opening of John 1, which says, In response to this revelation of the Lord; seeing Him in all his majesty, we can’t help but join the unending song that the angels and saints sing continually before his throne.

My hope is that through this song, listeners are reminded of the gift that it is to know Jesus, and through Him, the Father himself.”

Hailing from North Georgia, David Funk first joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2020. He grew up watching his father play piano on worship teams at their local church, started playing guitar himself at a young age, and began leading worship in high school. David first led “Touch of Heaven /Alabaster Heart (Live)” on a Sunday night at Bethel Church and experienced an anointed holy moment.

As Funk’s first single with Bethel Music, the song introduced him in his truest element, ushering in high praise and keeping the focus on Jesus. This song invites the listener to surrender again and again, leaving everything at the feet of Jesus.

He also appears on Bethel Music’s albums Homecoming (2021), singing, “Son Of Suffering,” Simple (2022) singing, “Our Jesus,” and Come Up Here, singing “Beauty.” David thrives in an environment where everyone is passionately worshiping Jesus. His dream is to lead people into the presence of God, where every person present is solely focused on Him.

Grace Worship Releases Title Track Today From ‘Steadfast Love’ EP Due September 15

Pairing theologically rich lyrics with soaring melodies, Peoria, Illinois-based Grace Worship releases its first EP in over three years, Steadfast Love, on Sept. 15. The six-song recording’s title track is available beginning today (Aug. 18) at digital and streaming outlets globally via The Fuel Music at https://slinky.to/SteadfastLove.

Centered on the theme of God’s heart for his people, all the new songs for the EP came out of a song-writing team at Grace Worship.

“We wanted to write songs for the church that help people grasp the inseparable bond God has with us,” shares Grace Worship Director Kevin King. “We worked to include songs that will span generations, drawing from scripture and ancient hymn texts and pairing them with singable melodies put to fresh sounds and arrangements. The album is a celebration of God’s heart and God’s people with brilliant orchestral moments, soaring pop hooks, and vulnerable lyrics.”

King wrote and led the opening, title track of the EP, “Steadfast Love,” which was inspired by Lamentation 3:22-23 and features a full band, choir, and string section. The song also becomes the first live performance music video from the recording. Recorded at Grace Presbyterian Church, the video was premiered this week by Worship Leader at https://worshipleader.com/worship-culture/grace-worship-video-premier-steadfast-love/.

“‘Steadfast Love’ explores the lament of the heart when faced with sorrow, sin, and the devil, and yet points us to cry of the Lord’s love in the midst of it all,” says King.

Along with the title track, the new EP features “Hallelujah Who Shall Part,” which is Grace Worship’s rendition of William Dickinson’s hymn written in 1846, “Dear Refuge of My Weary Soul,” a hymn written by Anne Steel in 1760 with music added by Matt Merker in 2014, and “My Gentle, Lowly Savior,” inspired by themes from Dane Ortlund’s book Gentle and Lowly. It also features “The Twenty Third Psalm,” a poem written by George Herbert in 1633 based on Psalm 23, and “Jesus, Do Not Look on Me,” a new hymn written by Dr. Bryan Chapell and set to the tune of Antonin Dvorak’s “Largo” from the New World Symphony.

“As people take in these songs, we pray they are brought into the true reality, where God loves them more than they love their sin; where shame is defeated and grace abounds; and where praise is a healing balm for the soul because the object of our praise is that safe,” prays King. “All glory to God for the steadfast love He continues to give us through Christ our Lord!”

Bringing classical technique and lush orchestral arrangements into a pop presentation, Grace Worship continues its work of creating songs that unite generations. The new recording reflects a modern musical expression while simultaneously drawing from the 150-year church history at Grace Presbyterian Church. The songs are further meant to remind listeners that there is more hope in Jesus than there is despair in the world.

Steadfast Love follows the worship team’s latest All Glory Be To Christ Christmas offering and its Worship LeaderWorship MusicianCCMNewReleaseToday and

GOD TV-featured debut EP Christ Be All.
