Today, five-time GRAMMY Award-winning music collective Maverick City Music, Chandler Moore & Naomi Raine release their latest album,‘The Maverick Way Complete’ via Insignia & TRIBL Records. The 22-track project includes the tracks from recently-released 6-track ‘The Maverick Way’ EP, which shot to number one on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album, and also features collaborations with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Noah Schnacky, Bobbi Storm, Travis Greene, Cody Carnes, Wande and more.

After the success of the featured single, “Good News” featuring Todd Galberth, the second single from the album, “In the Room” featuring Tasha Cobbs Leonard, was released on Oct. 13th and is one of their fastest growing singles. ‘The Maverick Way Complete’ incorporates emotionally charged records and passionate performances, which the group is distinctively known for, while fusing their blend of gospel, R&B, pop and contemporary worship.

Beginning October 31st, ‘The Maverick Way’ tour kicks off in Springfield, MA with a total of 16 stops through November 19th with performances from Maverick City Music, Todd Galberth, Noah Schnacky, Ashley Hess, Roosevelt Stewart, Anthony Brown, and JWLKRS. In 2022, Maverick City Music produced one of the biggest tours of the year, consistently ranking in the Pollstar Top 10 week after week, selling out arenas across America.

The group was founded in 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia, with the aim of breaking down racial and denominational barriers in Christian music. In 2021, Maverick City Music received a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for their album “Old Church Basement.” In 2023 the group received four Grammys for Best Gospel Performance/Song (“Kingdom” feat. Naomi Raine & Chandler Moore), Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance (“Fear is Not My Future” feat. Brandon Lake & Chandler Moore), Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (“Breathe”) and Best Gospel Album (“Kingdom Book One” Deluxe). Vineyard Worship presents a deluxe edition of “Come Now Is The Time” to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Produced by Brian Doerksen, the album brings a fresh look to these defining Church songs. “It was 22nd February 1998 – the night we recorded “Come Now Is The Time.”

There was such anticipation in the jam-packed auditorium! It was as if people sensed some- thing special was about to happen,” Doerksen says. “I sensed God whispering to me, ‘This is one of the reasons I brought you across the Atlantic – to encourage the call to worship in the UK and Ireland in this season.’ And what a wonderful season it was! I poured my heart into a group of hungry songwriting worship leaders and received way more back than I gave out.

Some of the songs written by these emerging writers have become some of my most used songs as a worship leader; songs like ‘Lord Reign In Me’. I never expected my new song ‘Come Now Is The Time To Worship’ to impact so many people!” When Vineyard Worship UK & Ireland embarked on their first ever worship recording in 1998, little did they know that the title track, “Come Now Is The Time To Worship,” would become one of the best known worship songs in today’s modern church. “I knew the project was special, but I don’t think any of us anticipated what a warm response this project would receive from the Church around the world,” Doerksen continues.

“I feel really blessed that by the grace of God I was able to be in the middle of it, watching and listening to what God was doing all around me in the heart of Vineyard churches in the UK and Ireland, and in the hearts of these precious worshippers.” 25 years later, Vineyard Worship celebrates this very special album with a deluxe re- lease featuring live-in-the-studio acoustic videos of four key songs recorded by Brian Doerksen, Wendy O’Connell, Marc James, Marika Siewart, Nigel Hemming and Matt Weeks.

Sarah Kroger ushers in the festive season with a soothing and worshipful rendition of “Silent Night.” The song is her favorite Christmas hymn and one she grew up singing in church; a familiar seasonal classic that listeners perhaps come to going through the motions. Yet, Sarah Kroger hopes to highlight the lyrics and how the song takes us on a journey.

She approaches “Silent Night” as an invitation to meditate on the incarnation of Jesus: “With the feeling of a lullaby, we’re invited to imagine Mary and Joseph on that holy night as they grapple with their new reality as parents to the Son of God,” she explained.

“Silent Night” invites us to ponder on the innocence and vulnerability of Christ born as a tiny child on a night when the world was changed forever. With her rendition, Sarah Kroger seeks to remind listeners that God took on flesh to walk among us and that he was indeed Lord at His birth.

Soul-inspired pop singer/songwriter, worship leader and producer Natalie Layne is also an accomplished pianist who has re-recorded new piano and vocal versions of her six-song Centricity Music debut EP, Amen. Every two weeks through Nov. 10, Layne will release a new single from Amen (At The Piano) beginning last month (Sept. 29) with “Amen (Piano Version).” Today (Oct 27), Layne releases “All Joy (Piano Version).”
