Coquí Releases New Christmas Song “I’ll Still Have Christmas Day”

DREAM Records artists Coquí debuts his new Christmas song “I’ll Still Have Christmas Day” today on all digital retailers and streaming service providers. “I’ll Still Have Christmas Day” is a reflecting song going back to a time of happiness when Samuel Jacob Lopez Jr., better known as Coquí, was young.

It’s the type of song that slows life down during the busy schedule to thank the Lord for the memories of growing up during the Christmas time.  The song was self-produced and written by Samuel Jacob Lopez Jr. and mixed and mastered by Jeanmark Rodríguez.

“This song takes me back to Christmas as a little kid, before life got complicated and the holidays felt a little different. It’s a nostalgic nod to those carefree moments, blending classic Christmas vibes with vintage big band flair, dub reggae, psychedelic era Beatles, and a touch of California surf.

While it’s not overtly about the deeper meaning of Christmas, it’s about celebrating what this time of year represents—family, memories, and the chance to slow down and reconnect. My hope is that it becomes one of those songs you keep coming back to every holiday season, a little piece of your own Christmas tradition.” – Coquí

Elevation Rhythm Drops Acoustic Version Of “At The Altar”

Earlier this fall, ELEVATION RHYTHM released the poignant live worship song, “At The Altar” featuring Abbie Gamboa and Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson. Inspired by the Bible story of Mary pouring expensive perfume on Jesus before His crucifixion, this song encourages the listener to give God our significant sacrif

“Our intention with this rendition of ‘At The Altar’ wasn’t just to create another acoustic song, but to truly capture the intimacy of its message,” shares Josh Holiday. “While the original version served as an invitation, we wanted this version to be deeply personal—a prayer of surrender. So, we subtly tweaked the lyrics to reflect this change in perspective.”

Brittany Diaz from ELEVATION RHYTHM shares what this song means to her, “This song takes you on a journey of intimacy and communion with Jesus. Sometimes the busyness of life distracts us from sitting at His feet. This song helps me slow down, build an altar before Him, and allow His presence to satisfy my every need.

There’s nothing left to prove because Jesus proved His love for us when He died on the cross. And it’s because of the cross that we can run boldly to the altar and exchange our burdens for freedom!”

This year has been a year of collaborations for ELEVATION RHYTHM. The group kicked off 2024 with a Forrest Frank collab of their hit song “PRAISES (remix)” followed by  “GOODBYE YESTERDAY” with Gracie Binion, and the aforementioned with Abbie Gamboa and Tiffany Hudson. “GOODBYE YESTERDAY” is currently impacting radio stations nationwide.

The group is preparing for an amazing 2025 with new music at the top of the year and some exciting tour announcements soon.

CCM Group Fusebox Returns After 20 Years Re-Ignited With Brand-New Music

They say that timing is everything.  Well, that time has come for the popular worship band, Fusebox.  Persevere Entertainment Group, INC., is thrilled to announce the return of Fusebox with today’s release of, “You Will” – the band’s first new music in twenty years.  Back at the helm for Fusebox is Dove Award-nominee and founding member, lead vocalist/songwriter, Billy Buchanan.

After backing Grammy Award-winner, Rebecca St. James (along with her brothers, Joel and Luke, of FOR KING + COUNTRY, singing behind her) for many years, Fusebox was eventually signed to Elevate Records (distributed by Capitol CMG) as their flagship artist

Fusebox released two rocking worship albums with Lost in Worship in 2002 spawning the hit song, “Every Move I Make”, before following its success up with the 2004 record, Once Again, whose title track was a ‘Top 5’ hit.   Even though “You Will” marks the group’s first new music in two decades, it picks up right where they left off, proclaiming that not only is the band back, but they are sounding better than ever!

Buchanan co-wrote “You Will” with his wife, Jamie. The beautiful ballad serves as a timely reminder of God’s faithfulness. When asked about the highly anticipated new single as well as the band’s extended hiatus and return, Buchanan says, “For the last 20 years, I’ve continued to make my living playing music. I’ve released 12 solo albums.

Carly Ann Taylor Finds God’s Faithfulness In “Why Should I Worry”

For rising artist Carly Ann Taylor, inspiration has often come from seeing God through the challenges she’s faced. This was true of her debut EP Changing My Story, and is again the case with her new Matthew 6-based single “Why Should I Worry”.

Produced by David Cook (Phil Wickham, Forrest Frank, Tate McRae), “Why Should I Worry” marks a new season for Carly Ann. After graduating from college, she battled self-doubt and depression, questioning what she was supposed to do next with her life and career. Through the support and encouragement of her family—especially her mom—she sought in Scripture for comfort and guidance.

“I was reading in Matthew 6 about how God is taking care of us,” Carly Ann said. “If he takes care of the birds and the lilies, why would we question our value?”

whyshouldiworry

With that scripture in mind, she sat down at the piano. Organically, “Why Should I Worry” started coming to life.

“I was writing ‘Why Should I Worry’ with my little sister at the piano with me, and I felt like I was speaking to her,” Carly Ann said. “I was looking at her as a little child—without worry or fear, enjoying life—but knowing one day she’ll come to be with worries. I started thinking about what I would want to say to her.”

Although God was speaking to Carly Ann as she was writing “Why Should I Worry” she knew that the song would also be a way for other people to know that God sees and cares about them.

“I pray that this song is something all generations can declare over their lives,” Carly Ann said. “It was born from a really heavy worry about my future, and I pray people can resonate with it.”

Carly Ann hopes that “Why Should I Worry” brings direction to those struggling with anxiety, and the song becomes a reminder of who God is.

Featuring soaring gospel vocals and catchy melodies, the song draws inspiration from R&B artists like Alicia Keys and Tori Kelly. Carly Ann’s powerful vocals are what drew listeners into her debut EP Changing My Story released on April 19.
