Vineyard Worship unveils its latest musical offering ‘No One Like You’, a poignant and yet simple song of praise written during the ‘Come Holy Spirit’ national worship gathering in London last summer. Crafted by songwriters Jon Solway (Birmingham Vineyard, UK), Anabeth Morgan (Mile High Vineyard, USA), and Rich DiCas (KXC, London), this heartfelt and intimate song centres on the unparalleled person of Jesus.

Jon reflects; “This song initially came from the secret place. I was spending time in prayer and as my heart was just overcome with the holiness, perfection and wonder of Jesus, the only thing that my heart desired to say was ‘Jesus, there is no one like you’. They seemed to be the only words that were appropriate in that moment. I then took that simple chorus to Anabeth and Rich.

Sharing about “Any More,” which the three wrote along with Jeff Pardo and Matthew West, Madison explains, “We had a songwriter friend tell us, ‘When you try to write a song from the perspective of God, write towards your kids because that’s our closest understanding of the Father’s heart.’”

Taylor adds, “As a new mom, I’m starting to understand the love of God a little bit better. When I look at my daughter Stevie, I don’t need anything in return from her. There’s nothing she could do to change the amount of love that I have for her. The enemy lies to us, tries to tell us that we’ve made too many mistakes, that we’re too far gone, and that God couldn’t love us anymore. Three years after announcing their farewell tour, Tenth Avenue North announced their official return in November 2023 with new members Thomas Ewing and Monty Rivera joining frontman Mike Donehey! Today, the band debuted a new song titled “Invited.”

“Invited is a song about the welcoming heart of God,” Donehey shared in the new music announcement. “When I read scripture, it leaves me with the impression that God has a heart of invitation. Jesus ate with tax collectors, prostitutes, and the Pharisees. It’s like He was saying, whether you’re feeling screwed up or quite religious, everyone is My kind of people.”

In speaking about the heart behind this new song, Mike added, “My parents have displayed the heart of God to me better than anyone else. They are constantly bringing people into their home and making them meals. They ooze hospitality.”

And in acknowledging a sort of full circle moment, Donehey explained how the message of “Invited” echoes that of Tenth Avenue North’s first radio single “Love Is Here” (2008). “Our former guitarist Jeff Owen is who had the idea for the song. Jeff, the new members Thomas Ewing and Monty Rivera, and me then wrote the song together.

To me, it’s a beautiful torch pass. We started our band journey with the song Love is Here and we’re beginning the next iteration reminding people what we are all about. We’re still declaring the same thing. The message is simple. Come. Just come.”

“The message of ‘Boxes’ summarized the last three years for me,” explains Kim Walker-Smith. “I could feel God calling me to step out of my comfort zone and to chase His presence. This required me to move outside of the boxes I kept myself in and even the boxes I felt others would hold me to. When you don’t want to disappoint anyone, you end up putting others ahead of God, which is just plain wrong.

The more I boldly climbed out of those boxes, the more the Lord would meet me there and fill me with boldness. Fear of man was replaced with fear of God, and I’ve been experiencing greater freedom and joy because of it.”
