Husband and wife duo Alabaster Grace, comprised of Brad Perry, a highly decorated former NASA rocket scientist and the pastor of Historic White Marsh Church in Lancaster, Virginia, and Joanie Perry, a long-time educator, have released their latest single, “Savior of My Heart,” to celebrate their gratitude for the Easter season.

The song is based on 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (ESV): O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Savior of My Heart” presents an upbeat and hopeful message recognizing Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world and also, more intimately, as the Savior of the hearts of His believers. It is a perfect song to celebrate the risen Savior.

Joanie Perry, Alabaster Grace’s primary songwriter and lead vocalist, penned the new song, while Brad Perry wrote and played the lead guitar parts, and added background vocals. Together, Joanie and Brad Perry further developed the song and crafted the arrangement along with multiple Dove Award winner Chris Bevins (producer and keyboards for Selah, Salvador, Jaci Velasquez, and Christine D’Clario).
