Sinach ace USA Billboards for Christian Songwriters chart.
Multi-Platinum Seasoned Nigerian Gospel Songstress Osinachi Joseph Okoro better known as Sinach has become the first African to top the Billboard USA Christian songwriters chart.
The Billboard USA is the music industry standard record chart for songs published weekly by Billboard magazine. The chart rankings are based on sales (both online and physical), radio play and online streaming.
The popular Nigerian songwriter maintained the No. 1 on the Billboard chart seven (7) weeks and is still counting, thanks to her ever green hit song “Way Maker”.

“Way Maker” was actually birthed and recorded by Sinach back in 2015 and has been covered by a plethora of Worship leaders around the globe, including Michael W. Smith, who recently ascended the Hot Christian Songs list featuring Vanessa Campagna and Madelyn Berry. The version of Christian rock band Leeland also hit the chart, leaving two versions of the same song in the top 10 at the same time.
In March 2020, she was awarded a gold plague from YouTube for surpassing one million subscribers on the video sharing platform.
