Red Street Records Gains Two Dove Awards Nominations
Red Street Records receives two nominations for the 2023 Dove Awards, which include Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year and Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year.
Jason Crabb, who has 21 Dove awards under his belt, is up for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year with his and Dylan Scott’s version of “Good Morning Mercy.” The song was written by Crabb, Jay DeMarcus and Consumed By Fire’s Jordan and Caleb Ward, and the original release gained almost three million lifetime streams and peaked in the Top 30 on the Christian radio charts.
Consumed By Fire, also known for their #2 charted single “First Things First,” received their first-ever Dove Awards nomination for “Goodbye Ole Me” as Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year. Written by band members Caleb and Jordan Ward alongside Red Street Recording artist Iveth Luna, the single has attained over one million lifetime streams and continues to climb.
