Provident Entertainment Is Recognized In Nine Categories During The 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards
The Provident Entertainment family of artists, labels, films, songwriters, and publishers was recognized in nine categories at the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards including the coveted Artist Of The Year as well as Songwriter Of The Year going to Brandon Lake and Song Of The Year for “Goodness Of God.” Lake won the most GMA Dove Awards of the evening totaling four. Provident went into the awards with multiple nominations in 28 categories.
All of the winners were announced this evening during the exclusive airing of the show on TBN. The awards were interspersed with numerous performances, including Elevation Worship opening the show, a medley from Brandon Lake (joined by Phil Wickham), Zach Williams along with country music star Walker Hayes, and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound with Take 6.
The winners and nominations are across all Provident Entertainment entities – Provident Label Group, RCA Inspiration, Distribution, Films, and Essential Music Publishing. Top nominations included Brandon Lake with eleven while Kirk Franklin and Jason Ingram both received six.
