Patrick Mayberry Hits First No. 1 At Radio With Psalm 23-Inspired “Lead On Good Shepherd” Featuring Zahriya Zachary
Centricity Music singer, songwriter and worship leader Patrick Mayberry’s Psalm 23-inspired “Lead On Good Shepherd” featuring Zahriya Zachary becomes his first No. 1 radio hit on the Mediabase Christian Audience Chart. The song from Mayberry’s acclaimed, first full-length album, Wild Faith, was released to radio Aug. 4, 2023 and has since been a mainstay on radio and during his touring coast-to-coast across the US and beyond.
Produced by Mayberry and Jacob Arnold, and written by Centricity Publishing’s Mayberry, Paul Duncan and Frankie Orella, “Lead On Good Shepherd” begins with a Grand Ole Opry-worthy spirit before morphing into a foot-stomping rock groove, turning the peaceful passage into a roaring celebration. Gathering airplay on 101 reporting stations and named by Amazon Music in its “Best of 2023: Christian” playlist, the single also includes a special version featuring Crowder.
