Gospel musician, pastor, public speaker, and twenty-five time Stellar Award-winning Pastor Mike Jr. this week leads the Billboard US Gospel Airplay with his seventh consecutive chart topper, “Amen”.
The song—a pending nominee for Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2025 BET Awards—marks its first week at No. 1 on the Gospel Airplay. “Amen” currently remains at No. 6 on on the US Hot Gospel Songs, after peaking at No. 4 in January of this year.
On the US Gospel Digital Song Sales, the song debuted at the top of the chart, while concurrently hitting No. 18 on the Digital Song Sales across all-genres—Pastor Mike Jr.’s first song entry into any US all-genres chart.

The Birmingham, Alabama native is no stranger to the No. 1 position. “Amen” marks his seventh consecutive song to top the chart since his 2019 Billboard debut—including “Big” (February 2022), “I Got It” (March 2021), “Amazing” (May 2022), “Impossible” (April 2023), “Miracles” (July 2023).
“Windows” (June 2024), and now “Amen” (May 2025)—marking a cumulative twenty-one weeks that Pastor Mike Jr. has topped the chart. The achievement has earned him the title as the longest streak of Gospel Airplay No. 1 hits ever, as credited by Billboard. Tasha Cobbs Leanard and Tamela Mann follow closely behind, each with six.
