Following a 12 year hiatus from releasing music, worship leader Madeleine Kerzner is back with a new single which is out ON 22.2.22

Madeleine is known as a pastor, preacher, event organiser and radio presenter to those that are aware of her ministry.  And although she has spent 12 years away from the recording studio she has been exceptionally busy.  She shared,  “In the years prior to recording Rest, I have been very busy serving the community, working with worship leaders, artists and musicians all over the UK and since 2013 presenting a radio shows on Premier Gospel, Britain’s leading gospel music station.” She has also been co-pastoring at her local church in London.

Madeleine came to faith at 27, during a time she was looking for peace.  Born to Jewish parents, she was treated like a little princess growing up in Tottenham, north London.  Her gift for music and drama was nurtured and she learnt to play the piano and attended to dance school.

Hip Hop-influenced Christian artist Lawrence Jamal drops his latest single, “Gospel,” to Christian CHR, Rhythmic, and Christian Rap/Hip Hop-formatted radio outlets today.

“Gospel” follows the success of Jamal’s single, “Pick Me Up,” which hit No. 1 on the CRC Weekly chart, No. 2 on CRC Monthly, No. 3 on CRC Quarterly and No. 8 on the CRC Yearly 2021 chart. The single also enjoyed a No. 1 run for several weeks at NGEN Radio in Houston.

Jamal, a hip hop/rap artist from South Arkansas, has been producing music that delivers a message of “Everything Freedom” since 2015. He has been writing music and poetry since he was a teenager and became acquainted with the music industry and recording studio scene while living in Los Angeles after high school.

“My main mission,” Jamal says, “is to make music that is relatable to both non-Christians and Christians, in and outside of today’s church.”

The song, written by Lawrence Jamal and produced by Jamal and Conleyfor3, has been released to digital outlets on the Everything Freedom label.

Music is one of Domenica’s greatest passions, but she is also deeply passionate about suicide prevention and awareness after losing several loved ones to suicide, including her oldest brother. She has also personally struggled with suicidal thoughts. In an attempt to turn family heartache and tragedy into something good, she started a 501c3 (Angel in the Sky) in May of 2016. “My hope is that, through ‘The Warrior In Me,’ outreach program, we can raise awareness and help save lives through prevention, education, and the power of music,” Domenica commented. You can learn more about Angel in the Sky here.

Domenica is preparing to take her “The Warrior In Me” program on the road, both live and virtually. Recently, she completed filming a video series on suicide prevention and awareness which she created based on real-life experiences and raw emotion. Matt Sassano has landed in the top 10 on CMW’s Christian Rock chart for the first time with “Not My Name,” which was produced by Josiah Prince of Disciple. The song is also clocking in at #30 on the CHR chart.

The breakout success is significant for Matt, an independent solo artist who has spent the past 6 months on this first major touring circuit with Seventh Day Slumber. Beyond the prominence of such a high charting position, Matt is more moved by the impact the song has made in terms of lives impacted and changed.

“One of the things that I’ve always loved about music is its ability to make people feel understood and connected,” he shares earnestly. “It’s a personal song to me as someone who grew up with two disabilities: cerebral palsy and dyscalculia. For a long time, I was faced with so many labels, and I really sought to feel understood. I think this song is not only an amazing anthem that pumps you up, but it’s also a chance to reach into a community that is often overlooked: people with disabilities, people who feel like the black sheep, anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable in their own skin. Celebrating the release of her bestselling new recording, Pilgrim Journey, and the premiere of her first-ever television special, Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Lynda Randle recently embraced yet another career milestone as she stepped into the iconic “circle” on the stage of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.

For decades, Phil Madeira has written poignantly about the trials and triumphs of the human heart. He reaches another creative peak with his latest release, Bliss, whose songs about intimacy, intermingled lives, and innuendo all combine to create an appropriately sunny soundtrack for the Valentine’s Day season.

The album’s title says it all—Bliss captures its creator in a joyful mood, celebrating the new love that has brought happiness and contentment to his modern moment. Inspired by songwriting heroes like The Beatles, Randy Newman, Nina Simone, and Dr. John, Bliss encompasses the full range of Madeira’s influences, from piano-driven jazz to southern soul to swampy blues.
