This album reflects that heart beat, with songs from their season together as well as songs of surrender and hope for new chapters. Every song comes from intimate heart cries and encounters with the Lord. We are praying that this Album helps you to TURN and look at the one who has everything we need.

Matthew West releases joyful new anthem “How Good of God” today across all digital streaming platforms. Serving as a reminder that every prayer you pray is heard and to appreciate God’s blessings, the cheerful track backed by an infectious melody was written by West with AJ Pruis. The accompanying feel-good music video, directed by Sean Hagwell, was shot in Nashville, TN and features a jubilant children’s choir worshiping the lesson learned alongside West. “How Good Of God” is available now.
“I love the music video for “How Good of God” so much! We put a message on social media and a bunch of families showed up with their kids to be the stars of this video. I wanted the video to be full of life. I had a vision of what vacation Bible school was like when I was a kid. I had such a blast hanging out and teaching these kids the songs, and then we performed for the parents like a school recital. To me, it’s such a special thing to see all these kids singing about the goodness of God.” -Matthew West
“One day during the height of the pandemic my wife noticed a piece of paper on the nightstand next to my daughter’s bed,” recalls West. “She had written a list of everything that was going wrong in our world at the time. My wife showed the list to me and it broke our hearts to think that our little girl is going to bed with so much bad news on her mind. So, the next day we decided we would sit down together as a family and make a different kind of list. We took turns talking about something good in our lives, something we are thankful for, something that brings us joy. The craziest thing happened! That list we made was much longer than the list of troubles. That experience inspired me to sit down and write ‘How Good of God’.”
The reigning K-Love Fan Awards Male Artist of the Year’s current single “Me On Your Mind” is sitting in the number one spot on both the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart and Mediabase U.S. Christian AC Music Chart – notching his 25th number one song as an artist and songwriter combined. The track marks West’s 24th top 10 song as an artist and has garnered over 12 million streams. It is also his fifth chart-topper in a row following “What If,” The God Who Stays,” and “Truth Be Told,” which he later recorded a duet rendition with country superstar Carly Pearce (here), and “Nobody” by Casting Crowns which he is featured on. West is set to release a duet version of “Me On Your Mind” featuring Anne Wilson on August 12.

Grappling with the highs and lows of the Christian life, from disappointment and disillusion to forgiveness and hope, Juno and GMA Canada Covenant Award-winning singer/songwriter Elias Dummer delivers his much-anticipated sophomore solo set, The Work Vol. II, July 29. The 10-song recording laments the failings of humanity while ultimately amplifying God’s lavish grace—His finished work on the cross which offers new mercies each day.
Dummer co-wrote the entire project and co-produced The Work Vol. II with Brent Milligan (Steven Curtis Chapman, Tauren Wells). The album also features songwriting collaborations with David Leonard; Tim Timmons; Benji Cowart; Zach Bolen (Citizens); Eric Fusilier (The City Harmonic); and Gary Rea (Land of Color), among others.
Exuberant album opener “Expectation” puts Dummer’s signature style on full display as it steadily builds into a soaring chorus proclaiming the assurance of Christ’s promises, while the self-indicting “How Many Songs Does It Take To Save The World?” finds the artist pondering the motivation of his heart: “If I sing a new song, it had better be one I’m living/Not just Sunday morning/Cup of coffee, high notes, and giving/You want us faithful/We bargain for power/You want the whole thing/I offered an hour.”
“I love the Church and believe deeply in what it can and should be, but if we’re honest, we’re not doing a very good job of being that thing,” Dummer admits. “The Work Vol. II is for the disappointed who refuse to give up on Hope, whether their faith is hanging by a thread, or they have the gift of years of perspective. It’s for the hurting, who refuse to give up on mercy, knowing that we need it above all else. It’s for the tired, eager to find rest for the soul but worn out on cliches and cheap maxims. These songs are for those of us aware that while we, together, have missed the mark, Jesus remains true to His every word.”
“Ultimately, this is a collection of worship songs—some for Sunday and some for Monday through Saturday,” he adds. “I made this record for myself, and people like me. These songs are prayers I needed to pray, and if you can relate to those things, this music is for you too.”
The Work Vol. II is also a multi-faceted showcase of collaboration. “When my co-producer, Brent, and I first started working on this album in 2020, it was a remote process,” Dummer explains. “However, using the power of the internet, we were able to gather a virtual choir from around the world to be featured on several tracks, and one of my co-writers arranged and recorded string parts for us from Australia. When we finally went back into the studio, we were joined by some incredible musicians in person as well.”
Among the album’s key collaborations are “See Clearly,” a plaintive, indie-pop hymn featuring acclaimed singer/songwriter Sandra McCracken; “Kyrie Eleison (It’s Mercy We Need),” with Seattle-based Citizens; the gratitude-filled “Carry,” featuring singer/songwriter JJ Heller, and the contemplative Land of Color feature, “The Gospel Is Rest.”
Elias Dummer co-founded and fronted one of Canada’s most acclaimed worship bands, The City Harmonic. As the group’s principal songwriter, he helped pen such hits as “Holy (Wedding Day)” and “Mountaintop,” as well as “Manifesto,” which served as the theme song for 2011’s National Day of Prayer. The City Harmonic earned 12 GMA Canada Covenant Awards and a Juno Award (Canada’s GRAMMY equivalent), before disbanding in 2017.
Dummer released his solo debut, The Work Vol. I, in 2019 and was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2020 Covenant Awards. Both as a solo artist and with The City Harmonic, Dummer’s music has garnered more than 100 million streams to date.
Ben Myers sends a new single to Christian radio today when “Revival” goes for adds to Christian country-formatted radio outlets. The newest single from the Louisiana singer/songwriter follows several hit songs, including the chart-topping “Tired” and “Bury Me.”
“’Revival’ is a cry for God to soften and reignite the heart of someone longing to be filled with the Holy Spirit,” Myers explains. “It is an anthem to God to use Christians as a vessel for the life-giving Holy Spirit.”
The song is personal, Myers shares. “I was looking for a way out of my struggles and desiring to be fully used by the Lord.”
Myers has enjoyed back-to-back No. 1 singles with both “Bury Me in the Water” and “Tired” debuting in the top spot at CRC Weekly.
“Tired,” which was written in response to Myers and his wife, Marlayna, receiving news that their unborn child had died, earned Myers a spot in the quarterly Top 10 of the CMunited Songwriters Contest.
Myers has been managed by McLaughlin Music Group since January 2022.
Pastor and musician Jelani Aswad is set to release “Take Off (featuring Daniel Amp and Mike the Chaplain)” to Christian radio today as the single goes for adds to Christian Hot AC/CHR and Christian Rhythmic-formatted radio outlets. The new song, Aswad shares, is a tribute to his 10-year marriage.
“Godly marriages still work,” says Aswad. “My wife and I have been through it all from having a honeymoon baby, to both being in college the first five years of our marriage to moving halfway across the country to pursue a call to ministry. This ode to my wife sums up in the most tasteful of ways how to celebrate love and healthy relationships.”
The message has been inspired by 1 Peter 5:6: “Humble [ourselves,] therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift [us] up in due time.” “We have been lifted up so high in love in Christ that it feels like we could take off to outer space,” Aswad enthuses. “This song is a summer hit for jeep top-down, a summer cruise, or a backyard barbecue. Oh my gosh, we ‘bout to ‘Take OFF’ feels exactly like the title.”
Aswad, a native of the Bronx who grew up in Spring Valley, N.Y., learned singing and performing in church. As he grew up in the city and suburbs, the stories of his neighborhood intrigued him, leading to a deep desire to catalog these experiences through music and poetry. “My music is for all the nations,” Aswad shares. “And the message is that Jesus is the hope of the world and you can find peace in Him.
“The gospel of Jesus Christ transformed my life,” Aswad says, “but I feel the untold stories, the deep groaning and the heartfelt lamentations of the community I was raised in could bring transformation to a world so desperately seeking peace in temporary places.”
Aswad wrote the new single with Daniel Patterson; THAIBEATS produced the song.
Aswad has been managed by McLaughlin Music Group since June 2022.
The UK & Ireland contingent of the Vineyard Worship family are releasing their first body of work in a while, a 7-track EP titled ‘Room At The Table’. After setting the scene with first single ‘Awaken Us’ and the project’s title track as a second offering, Vineyard Worship now introduce their new record high in various flavours and colours.
‘Room At The Table’ came out of a writing retreat that happened in late 2021, capturing the wonder of being reunited after two years of global unrest, but also deep vulnerability and honesty as the songwriters involved got to open up to each other again. This EP emerged from friendships and collaboration, highlighting the fruit of the Vineyard Worship and Integrity Music partnership over the last few years with features such as Lucy Grimble, Nathan Jess, Marc James, and Rich Dicas from Integrity Music as well as Vineyard Worship leaders Olu Meduoye, Jonny Riggs, Harmony Smith, Jodie Alexander-Frye among others.
As it is diverse in contribution, ‘Room At The Table’ also can’t be encapsulated in one theme, but its “patchwork project” feel gives it a unique wealth of resources for worship leaders and listeners alike.
Whether one is looking for a Sabbath lullaby such as ‘Catch Your Breath’, or a song to gather together like ‘Thanks And Praise’, the new EP covers broad horizons in the worship sphere.
Produced by Rich Dicas, the latest Vineyard Worship project includes songs that are Scripture-filled, modern Psalms, songs of declaration, confession, and communion – with God and one another – as well as melodies that call us to worship with passion and humility alike. ‘Room At The Table’ is an all-encompassing project that was worth waiting for.
‘Room at the Table’ EP releases worldwide on all major digital platforms on Friday 5th August 2022.
