Dutch Pioneering Band “Mozaiek Worship” Release Live Record

Mozaiek Worship release a new live album titled ‘Nieuw Leven’ spearheaded by Kees Kraayenoord and the worship force of Mozaiek0318, a growing church in the Netherlands.

Meaning ‘new life’, the album is a lively collection of songs including Dutch versions of worship anthems by Matt Redman and Bethel.

The concept for ‘Nieuw Leven’ is certainly courageous and faith filled; it comes after the encouragement of songs like Jezus Overwinnaar (CCLI Benelux #1) and Onze Schuplaats is God (CCLI Benelux #15) becoming anthems in the Dutch Church. With this new album, Mozaiek Worship successfully demonstrate their keen sense for significant themes reflecting the heart and sound of the local church in their songwriting.

The latter also highlights the diversity at the core of the team led by Kees Kraayenoord who is recognized as the father of contemporary worship in the Netherlands. Mozaiek Worship believe that the local church is the hope of the world and seek to share the beauty of the love and light of God through their songs.

Their home church enjoys a great reputation nationwide and is seen by many as a role model for an appealing and socially relevant form of Church.

[Album] A Beautiful Ending, A Blessed Beginning – Mitch Wong

Mitch Wong releases his debut album, ‘a beautiful ending, a blessed beginning’. The first full-length project from the Nashville-based Australian worship leader takes listeners on a journey from burial to bloom.

The concept revolves around the theme of surrender – allowing our old nature to die – and the beauty of resurrection, reminding us that death isn’t the end but the Divine doorway into fulness of life and joy. From an early age, Wong felt a passionate calling to write songs.

But it’s in recent years that he wholeheartedly embraced this intrinsic desire to spread his music and let his voice be heard. “I can vividly remember a night two years ago when I couldn’t fall asleep because I felt God downloading all these beautiful song ideas into my head. I was wide awake and inspired like I had never experienced before. My poor wife had to suffer me recording muffled voice memos in bed until around 6AM when the downloads stopped, and I finally went to sleep,” he describes.

That night changed him forever as the songs, lyrics, and melodies told such a beautiful and consistent story. From this, ‘a beautiful ending, a blessed beginning’ was born. The album opens with ‘Burial’, a song written with Cody Carnes, which celebrates the centrality of surrender and takes inspiration from Jesus’ teaching that to lose one’s life is to find it.

I felt that it was important and indeed countercultural to begin the album with a death; death to our old ways, our old thinking and our old burdens,” Wong says. By opening his record with profound words from the Apostle Paul – “to die is gain” – Wong makes a powerful and inspiring statement that no resurrection can come without a grave.

From there, ‘a beautiful ending, a blessed beginning’ expands into songs filled with gospel influences, pop soundscapes, and R&B accents as it approaches themes like loss and grief on songs such as ‘Still On The Throne’ and ‘To Be With The Lord’.

The latter towers as the album’s centerpiece, featuring Steffany Gretzinger on a deeply touching and worshipful duet. “To say that I’m deeply honored Steffany would sing this with me is a complete understatement,” Wong says. With great sensitivity, he encourages a faith-filled perspective of Jesus’ reign even through seasons of mourning. “I remember waking up at 2AM with the chorus in my head one night, I knew straight away that I was supposed to send it to my dear friend [as her] dad had recently graduated to Heaven to be with Jesus,” he tells. Though ‘a beautiful ending, a blessed beginning’ tackles weighty themes, Wong harnesses music to change perspectives so that we may see these topics as celebrations instead of burdens.

The trailblazing album then shifts into yet another rich layer, offering songs of rejoicing in the fruit that comes from surrender. “We discover that the Kingdom of God is alive, all around us, blooming within us,” Wong adds, “this album reveals that loss can be redefined as “a beautiful ending” and that the power and the goodness of Christ turns those endings into something new, something greater: “a blessed beginning”.

From its bold opening track to closing with ‘Reputation’, a sonically joyful track leaving us with a taste of godly confidence and bold faith to believe for God to do the impossible, Wong explores some deeply emotional themes with music that compliments and supports the lyrics. “Music can be a beautiful way of softening the heart and preparing us to receive hope. Although some of the songs cover life’s challenges, the somber tones and the midnight hours, I pray that the music will be like a steady hand for the listener, a faithful guide, a shoulder to lean on as we walk through the more difficult chapters of life,” the artist concludes. With ‘a beautiful ending, a blessed beginning’, Mitch Wong helps the Church dream of the brighter promised future we have in Christ, and sets out to remind us of the beauty and hope that exists in each season of life because of Him.

Swiss Worship Band Announce New Album With First Song “God Of Miracles”

‘God of Miracles’ explores the tension at the heart of the song’s title in an encouraging way. ICF Worship’s new single tells of the reality of life where supernatural provision and deficit, triumph and fall, gain and loss are all at play.

‘God of Miracles’ seeks to build faith in the Church as it draws people to worship the miracle-working God who is true to his word and nature. ICF Worship’s new single was inspired by the hopeful words of Psalm 77: 10-15: “Then I thought, ‘Here is what gives me hope.

For many years the Most High God showed how powerful he is. LORD, I will remember what you did. Yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will spend time thinking about everything you have done. I will consider all your mighty acts.’ God, everything you do is holy.

What God is as great as our God? You are the God who does miracles. You show your power among the nations. With your mighty arm you set your people free.

You set the children of Jacob and Joseph free.” ‘God of Miracles’ communicates the importance of keeping childlike faith and worshipping God with a mature spirit amid the tension of life, miracle or not.

“God Of Miracles” is available now.

[Album] Freedom Church Drop Their Full Live Album ‘Barbarians’

The 11-song live album was recorded live at The Studio in Hereford, UK, and was produced by George Owen Downes, Dave Thomas, Sam Taylor, and Luke Collins and co-written by George Owen Downes and Dave Thomas.

“In 2006 something unique began to happen amongst the young men of our church. Not satisfied with the status quo of their lives or what it looked like to be a man of God they began to gather. It was raw, uncompromised honesty and ministry. What God did among them changed our church and at the heart of it was the sound of worship.

Not polished great songs or high production events just men giving their all. An often out-of-tune, off-beat but beautiful sound emerged. The passion became a fire that carried over nations as our church planted across the world. The vision of this album was to capture that worship with songs specifically written for men in the context of our struggles and battles in life.

The mix was purposely not tidied, with the crowd left as abnormally loud as they were on the night. Spontaneous choruses and ministry captured in the ‘moments’ of this record encapsulate every prayer as a moment of worship we believe will change lives around the world.

From declarations of trust in ‘You provide’, the journey of sonship in ‘Prodigal’ to the warcry of …‘Chariots’ this is a unique project we can’t wait to share with the world.“ – Dave Thomas, Freedom Church

Planetshakers Releases New Recording Of Popular Song “Nothing Is Impossible”

Internationally recognized praise and worship band Planetshakers globally releases “Nothing Is Impossible – Live In Manila,” today (Feb. 24) from Venture3Media (V3M). First released in 2011 and having received over 150 million streams to date across various platforms, the newly recorded live version is available now at all major digital and streaming outlets via https://planetshakers.streamlink.to/nothingisimpossiblelive.

Written and produced by Joth Hunt, “Nothing Is Impossible” was recorded by Planetshakers band as 60,000 people attended four back-to-back sold-out events in Manila, Philippines Sept. 8-11, 2022 at the 15,000-seat SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The band was visibly energized by the audience’s explosive, jubilant response to the song. Along with the audio, this joyful declaration is captured on video for the Deluxe Edition of the single.

“The year was 2008, and I remember standing in a Planetshakers staff prayer meeting when Pastor Russell [Evans] told us he was preaching on Sunday about faith,” says Hunt of the song’s early roots.

“So I went back to the studio and began to read the Bible and pray and ask God to give me a song of faith. Thirty minutes later, ‘Nothing Is Impossible’ was birthed.”

Since then, the song has been recorded in multiple languages by numerous other musicians around the world, each incorporating their own creative expressions.

“To see the impact of this song and how God has used this song is just amazing,” continues Hunt. “I remember hearing about a boy who got struck by lightning.

He ended up in the hospital being a quadriplegic. As he laid in the hospital, his family decided to play this song on repeat and fill the atmosphere of that hospital room with faith. When the doctors said there was going to be no way, we saw God do a mighty miracle where he was fully restored and able to walk again.

Nothing Is Impossible – Planetshakers

“This song is filled with the Word of God,” adds Hunt. “The Word of God is Truth that says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. And we see so many impossible situations being made possible by the power of God.” See the remarkable video backstory of this song below.

Along with “Nothing Is Impossible” and the recently released, “Yes And Amen,” Planetshakers’ current, full production live album GREATER and its companion GREATER: Live At Chapel project both released last fall. The chapel album re-crafts GREATER songs in a musically accessible way for smaller gatherings and was recorded by the band on a mountaintop vista near Melbourne, Australia along with Planetshakers Bible College students.

[Album] Honest Offering – CAIN

CAIN’s anticipated project Honest Offering, their six-song live worship EP, drops today (Feb 24) via Sony Music/Provident Entertainment.

Honest Offering features the writing of award-winning songwriters and artists including Chris Tomlin, Jason Ingram, Ethan Hulse, Micah Kuiper, Nick Schwarz, Jonathan Smith, and Mitch Wong.

Wong also shares his vocals on “Shine On Us” while David Leonard appears on “Blessed Assurance.” Touted as their most personal collection of songs yet, the album was produced by Jonathan Smith, Brad King, and David Leonard and was recorded live at Nashville’s legendary Ocean Way Studio.

Honest Offering is also a project CAIN has been wanting to make since their childhood, especially as teens when the Cain family would host high school Bible studies. “We’d pack so many in our family room and just sing to Jesus,” Madison Cain Johnson shares.

Now singing as their careers, the siblings knew it was time to record some of their favorite worship songs along with sharing a few new ones. “Our hearts need this,” Madison says. “It’s something that has been on our hearts to do and I can’t believe we actually got to do it!” Taylor Cain Matz adds, “Everybody’s heart for this is just right. We’re ready!” Logan Cain includes, “This feels different to me than anything we’ve done before. It’s so personal.”

We hope that this is a time that people can get lost in the songs and really connect with God,” Madison concludes. “That is more than we can hope for, more than people just liking the songs or enjoying themselves. We really hope that people get to encounter the living God.”

The members of CAIN are also ready to embark on their first-ever headlining tour this spring. Joined by Katy Nichole and David Leonard, the “Live And In Color Tour” will kick off in March. Click HERE for more information to find a city, and the assigned tour color, near you!
