Gospel music icons Bill and Gloria Gaither are back with two new Homecoming Series recordings, Power In The Blood and Hallelujah Homecoming (Gaither Music Group), slated for a double release on Friday, April 28.

The Gaithers and their Homecoming Friends gathered in Tulsa, OK, at the Mabee Center, for a weekend of sweet fellowship, inspiring messages, and LIVE performances resulting in the creation of these two new audio and DVD recordings.

“We had a wonderful time at the Mabee Center in Tulsa, OK, recording new videos,” stated the event’s founder and three-time Gospel Music Association Hall of Famer Bill Gaither, who was honored by the Mabee Center during the weekend’s events for holding the record for the most performances of all time at the arena with a total of 40.

“It is always a joy to fellowship with so many lifelong friends. We revisited some Gospel classics and were honored to have veteran artists on stage who have been recording with us for many decades. In addition, we enjoyed performances from some newer faces on the Homecoming stage, and it is thrilling to see what these young folks are doing.

Power In The Blood showcases 15 new recordings including Gospel classics “The Love of God,” “I’ve Never Been This Homesick,” “Revive Us Again,” “If That Isn’t Love,” and “Power In The Blood” with performances by Homecoming favorites Lynda Randle, Jason Crabb, The Nelons, the Gaither Vocal Band and more.

There is no stopping the award-winning band CAIN. Kicking off the year with new music and embarking on their first-ever headlining spring tour, they made their Grand Ole Opry debut and traveled to New York to appear on Fox & Friends and SiriusXM.

While continuing their tour into May, CAIN is also readying to host the biggest fan-based awards show of the year, the K-LOVE Fan Awards, over Memorial Day weekend. What’s even better? There is still so much more to come from the sibling trio – comprised of Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain – this year.

Their latest accolade, however, came as a surprise this past weekend. CAIN was awarded their first RIAA Gold® certification for their chart-topping single “Rise Up (Lazarus).” The group was presented gold plaques by their record label, surprising them during a recent concert held just outside of Nashville, to commemorate their achievement (photo below).

Sharing collectively from their Instagram page, CAIN shares, “‘Rise Up’ has been special for us, and we’re so thankful you’ve let it be part of your lives too. Thank you and thank you, Jesus!”

CAIN has been thrilled to share their songs live on the road during their “Live And In Color Tour.” Since the tour kicked off in early March, they have had more than 20 sellout shows and with just eight concert dates left, many are close to selling out.

Yet their greatest gift is getting to tour with their young children, making every tour stop an adventure with their growing families. 

CAIN’s latest music project, Honest Offering, released in February, is a special compilation of worship songs they’ve been wanting to make since their childhood, especially as teens when the Cain family would host high school Bible studies.

“We hope that this is a time that people can get lost in the songs and really connect with God,” Madison says. “That is more than we can hope for, more than people just liking the songs or enjoying themselves. We really hope that people get to encounter the living God.”

Thanks to Honest Offering, along with their album debut Rise Up and holiday EP Wonderful, their music has achieved four top 10 hits with two back-to-back No.1 songs (“Rise Up [Lazarus]” and “Yes He Can”).

Additionally, their viral single “I’m So Blessed” took over the streaming front, amassing more than 1M streams for every week so far in 2023. Because of its social media popularity, more than 200,000 people have created their own videos using the music of “I’m So Blessed,” accounting for 300M additional views on social media and growing their social media reach by 185%.

Dynamic singer/songwriter Chris Renzema has announced plans for a fall tour. The Manna Tour is set to include stops all across the US! Tickets officially go on sale this Friday, but a pre-sale is underway now with code “OLD FRIEND.”

Daywind Music Group has signed on The Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum’s very own resident Gospel group, TrueSong, to New Day Records. The group brings great Gospel music to their large daily audiences, infused with worship, southern, and country sounds. TrueSong is nominated as “Favorite New Artist” for the 2023 Singing News Fan Awards.

TrueSong’s debut radio release and streaming release is “Army of Love,” which will be available for the first time on April 28, debuting on LifeFM with the Family Friendly Morning Show with Rodney and Reagan.

TrueSong will release a second song to streaming platforms entitled, “Believe for It” on May 19th, with their full-length album Tell Someone releasing on June 9.

 The Beautiful Letdown was a ground-breaking achievement for the Southern California-based rock outfit – selling over 3M copies and garnering over 550M global streams.

When the band began the recording process in 2003, they had signed with a record label to release the collection of songs, preparing them for the biggest stages and audiences they’d ever known.

But when their dream took a turn, and the record label dropped them, the rejection brought on fears and doubts like never before.

“Do we believe in these tunes? Are these songs still worthwhile? Ultimately, we came to the conclusion that the record label’s opinion didn’t matter. We believed in these songs. And no record company logo or opinion could take that away.

We decided to do what we had always done: singing in spite of whatever opposition we might face, paving our own road, and finding a way forward,” lead singer and guitarist Jon Foreman Reminisces.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Beautiful Letdown, the band realizes just how important that rollercoaster was. “The journey of The Beautiful Letdown reminded us why we started playing music in the first place. It united us and gave us a deep appreciation for each other and the people that showed up to sing with us.”

Megan Danielle covered Lauren Daigle’s “Thank God I Do” on the latest American Idol episode, which aired Monday, April 24. Danielle made the Top 12 this season and will compete next week to see if she advances to the next stage of the competition.
