The Gaither Vocal Band, renowned for their GRAMMY Award-winning musical artistry, is set to release their much-anticipated Love Songs CD, TV special and DVD on January 26, 2024, via Gaither Music Group.

In addition, the quintet will release a five-song EP, Let Me Be There. The band celebrates today by unveiling the first digital single from the Let Me Be There EP – a soulful cover of Olivia Newton-John’s hit, “Let Me Be There.” This comes as exciting news for gospel music enthusiasts and fans of the band’s rich harmonies alike.

Let Me Be There marks the second digital installment of the band’s love song project, following the successful release of their Love Songs EP last year.

The full love songs album release comes on the heels of the group’s 14-city Christmas tour and its GRAMMY nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album for their album Shine: The Darker the Night the Brighter the Light (Gaither Music Group).

The new record once more showcases the unique and harmonious blends of Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Todd Suttles, Adam Crabb and Reggie Smith. Their interpretations of these beloved songs are not only a tribute to their significant others but also a testament to the timeless nature of love and companionship.

The full-length Love Songs CD, DVD and TV special will provide fans with a comprehensive experience of the Gaither Vocal Band’s latest project.

Singer-songwriter HeIsTheArtist will release his newest EP, “Dreaming In Emerald City (Wicked Deluxe Edition)” on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2024. This EP is a collection of remixes from his critically acclaimed tribute to the legendary movies “The Wizard of Oz” and “The West Side Story,” with a modern twist.

“Dreaming In Emerald City (Wicked Deluxe Edition)” contains all the songs from the original EP, as well as an additional track inspired by the 1989 movie “Teen Witch”. The EP features a mix of Broadway-style vocals and neo-soul elements, showcasing HeIsTheArtist’s unique sound.

The EP begins with a vintage cinematic cover of Judy Garland’s “I’m Always Chasing Rainbows” and HeIsTheArtist’s original song “Mi Amor,” which pays homage to “The Wizard of Oz” and “The West Side Story.” These songs also introduce the overarching theme of the EP – showing empathy towards those who wish for a different life.

The Alzheimer’s Association has joined forces with six-time GRAMMY Award winning Christian artist Amy Grant for its Music Moments campaign to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s and other dementia this holiday season. 

Music Moments — a digital storytelling series — highlights the emotional connection between music and the moments in life that we never want to lose to Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

Grant performed “Trees We’ll Never See,” a song she released this past spring. Coupled with an intimate behind the scenes interview, she shared why she chose the song and her personal connection with the cause through her parents, who both had forms of dementia.

“Music is the only gathering where everybody is on the same wavelength,” Grant said. “I chose to perform ‘Trees We’ll Never See’ for the Alzheimer’s Association Music Moments campaign because it mentions Mom and Dad and how nobody should face a hard thing alone, which is so important for families facing dementia to recognize.
