John Mark McMillan Returns To Worship With New Album

Platinum-selling songwriter John Mark McMillan releases his first worship music in over eight years after a season where he hadn’t touched or written worship music. Today breaks that silence with his new album release, Cosmic Supreme (Anotherland), available everywhere.

“There was a season of my life when I started to think I wouldn’t write conventional worship music anymore,” shares John Mark McMillan. “Then life forced me to slow down and I began to catch myself singing little praise choruses in the quiet hours of my daily routine. I wasn’t going to record them. I didn’t even write all of them down at first.

But eventually, I found that my days had become pleasantly haunted by these sweet worship songs. So, I started to feel like maybe they deserved a home.  I guess my heart had something it needed to say to God, even if I didn’t know it.  My greatest hope for this collection of songs is that they would dignify our tendency to lean into the mystery of God again.”

Band Reeves Centricity Music Debut “Outrun You” Available Now

Fusing complementary country and Christian musical genres rooted in life on the farm and the faith that sustains them, Palestine, TX-based Band Reeves brothers Jeramy and Cody release their Centricity Music debut single, “Outrun You.” Available now at streaming and digital outlets everywhere, the song was birthed after Jeramy’s transformational encounter with Christ.

Although he made a public profession of faith at age 12, it wasn’t until he was 23 that Jeramy experienced a real relationship with Jesus. “I made a lot of stupid decisions as a teenager,” he admits. “I was walking further and further away from what I knew was true.”

During his wayward season, Jeramy’s wife had a life-changing encounter with the Lord at 18, the same year they were married. “I just watched God radically change her, and that challenged me in a lot of ways,” the oldest Reeves brother reflects, “in the way she was living and handling our marriage, and in the way she could forgive and move forward.”

When divorce entered the conversation, Jeramy found himself at a crossroads. After digging into the Bible and examining the theology behind different religious schools of thought, he made a personal decision to genuinely follow Jesus.

“I got on my knees at two o’clock in the morning, put my face in the gravel; and I just told God, ‘I don’t know what happened to me when I was 12 years old, but I know where I’m sitting right now,’” he remembers. “I asked God to save me, and when I stood up from that little heart-to-heart with Jesus, God started radically changing me, and He healed my marriage.”

Today, Jeramy, and his wife have been married for 14 years and have eight children; and his conversion story is written into the lived-in lyrics of Band Reeves’ debut song, “Outrun You.” The song is a backwoods-flavored, harmony-laced first offering from the band that was co-written with GRAMMY Award-nominated, multiple Dove Award-winning Jeff Pardo, who also produced the song.

“God is so persistent, even when we are running away from Him,” Jeramy attests. “Ultimately, you can’t outrun the Lord; you’re always going to continue running into Him, over and over. I’m just thankful He continued to chase me and Cody, both.”

The Reeves brothers have taken their hybrid brand of acoustic-grounded storytelling and spiritually-fueled country music to concert venues nationally before being discovered and signed to their first label deal with Centricity Music. A little bit Shane & Shane, a little bit Florida Georgia Line, Band Reeves is forging their own unique path on a patch of back forty dirt where blue-collar living, big family dinners and bonfire worship all converge.

Justin Gambino Opens Long-Awaited New Chapter With “Just Like Jesus”

Celebrating the God of second chances, acclaimed singer/songwriter Justin Gambino returns with the highly anticipated “Just Like Jesus,” his first new single in nearly two years. Produced by Walter Halliwell and penned by Gambino, Halliwell and James Tealy, the folk-rock anthem marks Gambino’s debut for Residence Music, a Centricity Music imprint.

Boasting a joyful, declarative chorus backed by an impassioned Gospel choir, “Just Like Jesus” draws inspiration from Gambino’s own prodigal journey. Recalling his surrender to Christ after years of rebellion, Gambino’s gratitude is evident as he sings, “Ain’t it just like Jesus to leave the 99 for the one/Ain’t it just like Jesus to throw a party for a prodigal son.”

“I resonate deeply with the message of the Prodigal Son,” he says. “How can I not be moved by this simple story that Jesus used to express the power of the Father’s love? I was on my own wayward journey for a long time—16 years to be exact. I stood before the judge in a Brazoria County courtroom at the age of 18, and I now lead revivals on the lawn of that same courthouse each year.”

“I hope ‘Just Like Jesus’ will remind others, as it does me, of the certainty of God’s relentless love,” Gambino adds. “Every year when I find myself onstage in front of the courthouse, I remember that God never gave up on me returning home. May this song point us in the direction of Jesus and encourage us to be just like Him—forgiving, loving, caring and filled with mercy and grace for those around us. May others see Jesus in us.”

“I’ve heard it said, you have all the time in the world to write your first record, and then run out of time for the second. Not wanting to put myself in that position, I started this project sooner than I felt ready in 2023,” shares TAYA. “After resting, fasting, praying, and waiting for God, He spoke to me. Unbeknownst to me when God spoke, I was carrying our first child Bo.

We would become parents and would learn to do so, living out of suitcases. Our son would travel to over 16 different countries by the time he was 11 months old. My management team would dissolve, and another team would do the same. My husband and I would feel led to leave our church home of over 13 years. And I would receive my first of two skin cancer diagnoses.

It all felt both joy-filled and extremely difficult. I was overwhelmed yet it was a pressing season that resulted, by the grace of God, in a steeled conviction of what God has and hasn’t called us to. God was and is faithful and kind. And that is the circumstance for this album to be shaped.”

Produced by Austin Davis, The Reminder is a perfect collection of 12 songs of worship declarations of  God’s faithfulness. The album includes the songs, “Worship!,” “One and Only,” “Simple Phrase,” “Come Into The Light,” and “Gonna Be Good,” which were released before today’s album drop.

This week, TAYA stepped into that historic circle at the Grand Ole Opry for her Opry Debut. She performed her recognizable and 4x RIAA Platinum single, “Oceans,” along with the title track “The Reminder.” This month she will embark on her first-ever US headlining tour, “Come Into The Light,” with each date featuring a special support artist, including Joe L Barnes, Leeland, Tiffany Hudson, and Mack Brock.

She adds, “I pray this record is a testament to God. Like an altar built in the desert, may these memorial stone songs help us remember what He has done. May they help us thank Him for His unyielding and unchanging faithfulness,  and may they become sustenance for the days ahead.”
