The song, written by Rich in under an hour last fall and accompanying video are a powerful three minute and thirty-three seconds of veracity. Curb Records’ Sidewalk Prophets made their Grand Ole Opry debut this week, 7/9. While stepping onto the famous stage and performing their current single, “Hurt People (Love Will Heal Our Hearts),” the band also surprised the audience by performing “Looking Up” with American Idol Season 21 runner up, Megan Danielle. With a plaque presentation at the Grand Ole Opry, Sidewalk Prophets also celebrated the RIAA Gold Certification of “The Words I Would Say,” “You Love Me Anyway,” and “Live Like That.”
“Playing the Opry has been a lifelong dream,” shares Sidewalk Prophets frontman Dave Frey. “Stepping on that stage reminds me that God is so good and that our journey has been blessed beyond measure!”

The Gospel Music Association is pleased to announce Tauren Wells will be returning as host and performer for the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards for his second consecutive year. The GMA Dove Awards will happen live and in person on October 1, 2024 at the Allen Arena in Nashville, TN.
“Last year’s Dove Awards was such an incredible experience, we’ve decided to run it back!” says Tauren Wells. “I’m so excited to return as host for this year’s Dove Awards. It’s going to be a great night!”
