Matthew West Debuts “Last Page Of The Bible” Feat. Anne Wilson

Five-time GRAMMY-nominated Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West releases “Last Page of the Bible” (feat. Anne Wilson), Written by frequent collaborators West, Wilson and Jeff Pardo, the inspiring duet showcases perseverance in times of trouble backed by their unwavering faith and complementary vocals.

Today’s release gives listeners the final sneak peek into West’s forthcoming album, Don’t Stop Praying, arriving Friday, Oct. 4.

“This song is inspired by the late Billy Graham who famously said, ‘I’ve read the last page of the Bible and it all works out in the end,’” shared West. “The last page of the Bible says, ‘He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.’ I love this verse in Revelation 22:20. It reminds us of the ultimate hope we have in our God who reigns in victory! I hope you love it.”

“We wrote this song together with our friend Jeff Pardo, and I love the heart behind it,” shared Wilson. “The world that we’re living in today is such a dark and painful place, and there’s so much going on. This song is a reminder that Jesus is coming back, and one day, there will be no more crying, no more tears, no more suffering. There will be perfect peace and perfect joy. This was such a fun song to get to create, thank you Matthew for having me be a part of it. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!”

Accompanied by an all new lyric video, the upbeat track brings a message of encouragement to listeners, reminding them that the overwhelming challenges they face are temporary, but having faith and trust in God endures forever.

West and Wilson are frequent collaborators, most recently teaming up to co-write 13 songs on Wilson’s sophomore album, REBEL, released in April. Today’s release marks the duo’s latest recorded track since “Me on Your Mind” from West’s last album, My Story Your Glory (Expanded Edition), released in 2023.

Joel Caws Releases Exciting New D&B Remix Collaboration

Joel Caws, a worship leader and singer/songwriter from the UK has just released a brand new Drum & Bass remix of his previously released track ‘Delight’.

Joel has been releasing music for over 4 years and this latest release is his second collaboration with Drum & Bass DJ and Producer Saint Louis.

Of the new song release, Joel says “Since releasing my first remix, I have been itching to get another one out there. It has taken some time for me to have released a worship song that would be a good fit for remixing so I’m massively excited to team up again with Saint Louis in producing this remix.”

Of the idea behind creating the remix, Joel comments “Catchy, repetitive vocal and instrumental hooks work really well for dance tracks in general, so when I released Delight earlier in 2024 I already had in the back of my mind that it would make a great song for remixing.

I was ‘delighted’ (pun intended), when Saint Louis agreed to work on this new track for me and what he has come up with is a really chilled but energetic version using both the main chorus hook and some sampled guitar riffs from the original.”

Of how he hopes others will engage with the song, Joel says “What I love most about the remixes I am releasing is how they appeal to those that wouldn’t normally listen to Contemporary Christian or Worship music. This remix is one that gets your feet itching to move and I pray that it inspires those who hear it to find Delight in God whatever situation and circumstances they find themselves in.”

Brandon Heath Releases Full-Length Album ‘The Ache’

Five-time GRAMMY-nominated, eight-time GMA Dove Award recipient and Platinum-selling singer / songwriter Brandon Heath releases his ninth studio record and second LP with Centricity MusicThe Ache. the album holds the tension of loss and longing, sharing the intrinsic ache experienced this side of heaven while pointing listeners to the things that matter most to Heath — family, faith, community and his ultimate belief that there is life after death.

While The Ache was inspired by hard moments, the album’s 11 originals, all co-written by Heath, were also influenced by the life growing all around him, even in the midst of sadness.

“Every record I release is a snapshot of the season I’m in, and I thought this was going to be a record about mourning,” Heath admits after watching his mom live out her final days. “But I’ve learned that two things can exist at the same time. You can talk about heavy things with a joyful spirit, and I have totally embraced the paradox in this season. I knew there was going to be sadness, but I also knew there was going to be joy because I knew where my mom was going.”

godisgoodtour

The Ache features the steady acoustic-pop single at radio now, “Gospel Truth,” which sums up how Heath reconciles the heartbreaking realities of this life with what he knows to be true of God.

“It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve written in a long time,” he confesses of the track that reads like a personal mantra and is featured by The Recording Academy. “It just fits me so well, and it tells the story of who I am and what’s important to me.”

The album’s lead radio hit, “He Does (Oh By the Way),” is a cleverly penned, choir-assisted, celebratory reminder about God’s role as a consistent provider and faithful friend. Heath co-wrote the song with Kyle Williams (We Are Messengers, TobyMac), who produced the majority of The Ache along with songs produced by Micah Kuiper (Jeremy Camp, Anne Wilson), Cason Cooley (NEEDTOBREATHE, Ellie Holcomb) and Andrew Bergthold (We The Kingdom).

While careful to avoid an overarching tone of melancholy that reflected his inner turmoil, The Ache doesn’t shy away from the heartache he was experiencing in real time either. After The Covenant School shooting, where Brandon’s oldest daughter was already enrolled for this year, Brandon wrote “Scars” to honor his longtime friend, the school’s chaplain Matthew Sullivan.

“I feel like in my grief, God showed up and gave me medicine to disseminate immediately to my friends,” shares Heath. “That song reminded me of our responsibility as artists: to say the things we don’t know how to say, put it to music, and then get it out to the masses as soon as possible and let it do its healing work.”

The Ache also features the bittersweet “The Other Side of the End” and the poignant, heaven-forward “Can We Go Home Now?” while the simplicity of his daughters’ innocent nighttime prayers shaped “Thank You. Need You. Love You.”

Perhaps the intrinsic ache we all experience this side of heaven points us to the things that matter most. “It feels like a thing that God put in us. It’s this ability to feel connected to people,” remarks Heath, adding, “This has been my season of sorrow, but it helps me to engage with it just by writing about it. That’s what music has always done for me.”

Taking the new music, hit songs and fan favorites on the road, Heath performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage last month and launches his headline, “God Is Good” acoustic tour Oct. 11. The Children International-sponsored tour features special guest Jesse Labelle and is being brought to select cities by ShowOps Presents.
