Phil Wickham Releases “Just Too Good” Dedicated To His Wife

Today, two-time GRAMMY® nominee Phil Wickham unveils surprise song “Just Too Good” — a gift for his wife, Mallory, in honor of the couple’s 15th wedding anniversary.

“This song is unique because it was written for my wife, Mallory. Just yesterday we celebrated 15 years of marriage and as a surprise and a present for her, I wrote and recorded this song, “Just Too Good.” says Wickahm. “So Mallory, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! This one’s for you. I love you, and I’m so proud of you. The last 15 years have really been “just too good.” I’m looking forward to the next 15 years and the next and the next with you. Huge thanks to my long time friend and producer, Jonathan Smith, for helping me pull this off. You killed it again bro!”

Stream & Enjoy

This heartfelt, melodic release — reflecting back and showcasing a beautiful story of love and commitment – drops directly after the powerful new Christmas anthem, “Manger Throne,” written with Jonathan Smith and Tony Wood.

“More than a Christmas song, this is a worship song,” Wickham shares. “Every Christmas season, when I take the time to think on it, I am amazed in a greater way of the moment when Creator stepped into creation. God in human flesh. Heaven walking on earth. Everything about how Jesus came was different than what we would have expected, and also far better.

He met us right in our humanity. Our dirt. Our mess. That’s what my new song, ‘Manger Throne,’ is all about.  He could have marched right into the heart of Rome and showed them splendor like they’d never seen before. But He had a better story, and it started in Bethlehem and ended with a Risen King. Praise the Lord the story still continues with us today.”

Additionally, Wickham has announced dates for his annual “BEHOLD Christmas Nights” outing. Coming to three states and five cities in 2023, with special guest Tasha Layton, the tour has become a yearly tradition for the chart-topping singer.

The “BEHOLD Christmas Nights” run will cap a phenomenal year for the prolific songwriter, respected worship leader and award-winning artist, who released his critically acclaimed studio project, I Believe, in August. The album’s title-cut currently sits in the Top 15 on the Billboard Audience chart, Mediabase AC Monitored chart and the Mediabase Audience chart. Moreover, Wickham recently received two Billboard Music Award nods: one in the category of Top Christian Artist and a second nomination for Top Christian Song for his No. 1 hit, “This Is Our God.” Winners for the 2023 Billboard Music Awards will be announced live Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023.

Centricity Music Signs Multi-Platinum Songwriter, Recording Artist Mack Brock

Centricity Music announces the signing of Multi-Platinum® songwriter and worship leader Mack Brock. The first single releasing in the new partnership, “Just Like You’ve Always Done,” will be available Friday (Nov. 3) at digital and streaming outlets internationally.

“Centricity is excited to add Mack to its roster of artists and writers,” says Centricity Music CEO Caren Seidle. “He brings a legacy of writing, recording and performing music for believers and music lovers everywhere around the world, aligning perfectly with Centricity’s mission statement.”

“With over fifteen years of friendship and making music together, I am truly honored to join Mack in this new chapter of his life and music,” adds Centricity’s Director of A&R, James Duke. “Mack’s love of Jesus and heart for the Church is inspiring, and I can’t wait for the world to hear these songs.”

The anthemic “Just Like You’ve Always Done,” which was produced by GRAMMY-nominated Hank Bentley (Jeremy Camp, Crowder, Danny Gokey) and co-written with Bentley and Jessie Early, boasts of the consistency of God yesterday, today and forever.

“It’s the launching pad of what we believe,” Brock says of the fresh track. “He is the same as He’s always been. He’s the same God that’s the lead character in all the stories we’ve read in Scripture. He’s still working miracles.”

The strength of Brock’s new single and upcoming songs to be revealed from Centricity Music in the coming months rides on the hope he finds in the unfolding story his family is living. The South Carolina native and his wife, Meredith, who serves as the CEO of Proverbs 31 Ministries, have three children. From the unexpected joy discovered in foster parenting to leaving the known to pursue the unknown, Brock writes songs to remind his own heart and encourage others that there’s an all-knowing God who is sovereign over it all and is worthy of all our praise.

“With my music, I’m just trying to relive all the times God has shown up,” says Brock. “I want to use that as a catalyst to build my faith and, hopefully, encourage others in their faith as well.”

As a former, founding member of the GRAMMY Award-winning Elevation Worship, Brock co-wrote some of Elevation’s earliest hits, like RIAA certified double Platinum® single “O Come To The Altar,” Platinum-certified “Do It Again” and Gold® track “Resurrecting.” After a decade with the worship band, Brock released his debut, Greater Things, which garnered him a radio hit with the title-cut. The five-track Covered EP followed the next year, and 2020’s SPACE cemented Brock as a bonafide solo artist. He has also written songs recorded by Phil Wickham, Jesus Culture, Passion, Pat Barrett and Bryan & Katie Torwalt, among others.

Today, multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY Award Nominee, Cory Asbury, has released a new version of his viral hit single, “These Are The Days,” featuring six-time GRAMMY Award winner Amy Grant. Since its release, “These Are the Days,” has quickly surpassed 5 million global streams and has been used in tens of thousands of TikToks and Instagram reels resulting in millions of views.

“This might be one of the best songs I have heard in a long time,” shares Amy Grant. “It makes me teary every time I hear it. I’m so glad Cory asked me to sing on it.”

“What can I say… Amy is an absolute legend and I am incredibly honored she joined me on this one” shares Asbury. “Never dreamed I’d get to sing with Amy, but here we are. Hope y’all enjoy it!!”

“These Are The Days” is the current single from Asbury’s long awaited third studio album, Pioneer, which was released earlier this Fall. The raw and vulnerable body of work was a long time in the making and taps into life experiences that Asbury has not previously shared. Teaming up with a veritable who’s-who in Nashville including Lori McKenna (Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift), Shane Stevens (Lady A, Walker Hayes), Tom Douglas (Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert), and Paul Mabury (Lauren Daigle, Chris Tomlin), Asbury shares stories of loss, redemption, and ultimately acceptance throughout Pioneer.

Next month, Asbury will embark on the Texas Takeover Tour with special guest Brennley Brown. The nine-city headline tour will kick off in Houston on November 2nd and make its way across Texas before wrapping in Kilgore on November 12th

Like many before him, multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Cory Asbury got his start singing in church at 14 and by 21 was a full-time performer. His 2009 debut, Let Me See Your Eyes, formally launched his career and set the stage to a hard-earned record deal in 2015. Asbury’s seminal album Reckless Love (2018), landed on the top of the Billboard charts, earning him two Dove Awards and a 2019 Grammy nomination.

The title track, “Reckless Love,” has been certified 3x Platinum, spent 18 weeks at #1, and earned Billboard, ASCAP, and BMI Christian Song of the Year honors. In 2019, Asbury released his follow up LP, To Love A Fool, featuring the Gold certified single “The Father’s House.” To date, Asbury has garnered 1.1 billion worldwide streams, 139 million video views, over 3.16 million monthly Spotify listeners, and over 2 billion audience impressions.

Citizens Releases Album Capturing Band’s Magnetic Character

After their successful 6th album, Citizens releases a deluxe version of the project featuring acoustic tracks recorded live in Nashville. Taking their listeners on a thoughtful journey away from the need to find answers to infinite questions and pointing to Peace found in surrender, Citizens describe it as “a record for the lost, last, and least.”

The live additions capture the band’s magnetic nature, speaking straight their audience through songs that cover subjects such as imagination, discovery, and the beauty of divine mystery. “Many times [we think] we are grazing the edges of God not realizing it’s our edges that we are bumping up against,” said frontman Zach Bolen said.

The deluxe album creates a space where questions, perspective shifts, and expression are welcome. They invite us to consider that perhaps it is art and imagination which can open our minds and hearts even more to a God that is far bigger than words can describe.

Jonathan McReynolds Wraps 2023 On A High Note

Renowned multi-award singer-songwriter-producer and author, Jonathan McReynolds closes out 2023 on a high note. This year has been nothing but a non-stop rollercoaster-ride filled with amazing highs for the Chicago native.

Last week, the GMA DOVE Awards were handed out to the best of the best in Gospel music and Jonathan McReynolds was front and center not only as presenter, but also as a winner as he walked away with the “Contemporary Gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year” for his smash single, “Your World.”

This past summer, Jonathan McReynolds co-hosted the 38th Annual Stellar Gospel Awards alongside Tasha Cobbs Leonard. The evening was filled with lots of joy and excitement as his protege’ and artist signed to his own record label, Life Room Label, multi-award winning artist, DOE, walked away with three Stellar Awards.

Earlier this year, Jonathan release his much anticipated fifth studio album, “My Truth” to rave reviews. The 12-track album still remains on top of the Billboard Magazine Gospel Charts and holding strong at #20 this week. “My Truth” delivered the powerful and former #1 Gospel song in the country, “Your World”.

The song went on to hold the #1 spot for 7 consecutive weeks. “Your World” reminds the listener of God’s sovereignty – a bop, intentionally upbeat, and happy.

Jonathan McReynolds shares, “This song reflects my evolution and growth. I am not the same person I was when I wrote my first album. Now, I am secure enough to take more risks and remove any limits to my creativity. It’s God’s World, and we are just living in it!

With the success of the “My Truth” album, Jonathan embarked on his national headlining “My Truth Tour.” The tour became one of the most talked about tours of the spring. Jonathan would leave it all on the stage, night after night and city after city.

In making sure to always give back, Jonathan partnered with Compassion International, a child sponsorship and Christian humanitarian aid organization that aims to positively influence the long-term development of children globally who live in poverty.

I am truly thankful for the year that I have just had. I always love and appreciate “album years”, as it allows for me to go into the world with a specific theme and new message to touch the fans.” “I am already looking forward to 2024 and start the creative process for another album,” shares Jonathan.

As an author, McReynolds’ first book, “Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits,” draws on testimonies in scripture and from personal experiences to invite readers to make room for God in every area of life. Jonathan is in the process of adding finishing touches to his sophomore book, to be released in 2024, under his new publishing deal with W. Publishing.

Also in 2024, Jonathan McReynolds will add the title of Professor to his hyphenate, as he will teach a “Christians In Culture,” course at The Moody Theological Seminary.
