Celebrating its 60th year in business, Curb Records is thrilled to announce the strengthening of its media and promotion team.

Curb Records Chairman Mike Curb shares, “As we celebrate our 60th year in business, I am thrilled to see our company continue to grow. With the strengthening of our team, Curb Records is poised for a productive future.”

Vice President, Media Craig Powers elevates to SVP, Media, continuing mainstream/crossover radio success with artists like Sarah Reeves, Natalie Grant, Wyn Starks, and for KING + COUNTRY. Powers has been with Curb and in his previous role since 2020.

In her elevated role, Hartigan will renew her commitment to artist development as well as oversee a secondary promotion team for the entire Curb roster.

Powers shares, “I’d like to thank our chairman, Mike Curb, for his confidence in me. I’m so grateful to be working with all of our artists and team members at Curb Records. Lori has years of experience in our industry and is well known for her work in country promotion. With Hartigan’s move, Curb’s Director, Southwest Promotion Todd Thomas will pivot to Director, West Coast Promotion for the label, working with successful artists like Dylan Scott, Lee Brice, Hannah Ellis and Kelsey Hart. “I am thrilled to welcome Bailey to our country promotion team!” Meacham shares. “With her exceptional relationships and dedication to the job, I know she’ll play an integral role moving the needle for our artists and music with country radio. Additionally, I have full confidence in Todd Thomas as he pivots to the west coast, where he already has strong relationships throughout the region. Together, we’re poised for success and continued growth!”

Drew & Ellie Holcomb ‘Brick By Brick’ EP Coming Feb. 14

Drew & Ellie Holcomb are excited to announce that they will be releasing their new Brick by Brick EP this coming Valentine’s Day – the same day the duo kick-off their Feels Like Home US headline tour. News of the EP comes with the release of the achingly beautiful title track “Brick by Brick”. The song opens with the sounds of an acoustic guitar and is anchored by the warm tones, subtle twang, and alluring cadence of the pedal steel as well as Drew & Ellie’s harmonies.

“‘Brick by Brick’ tells the slow and steady kind of love story that heals us and invites us back home to ourselves. This is the love I’ve known in Drew, and I’ll be forever grateful for it. I loved writing this song with my talented friend, Taylor Leondhart. I’m a big fan of her music, and what a joy to become friends and find in her a kindred spirit.” – Ellie Holcomb on “Brick by Brick”

brickbybrick

The new EP is their first new music since 2023’s “Bones” single that followed 2022’s Coming Home: A Collection of Songs album – featuring songs the duo had written over the years along with new single “Coming Home,” a cover of Willie Nelson’s “On The Road Again,” and a re-recorded version of fan favorite “Hung the Moon.” When asked about the new Brick by Brick EP Ellie shared…

“I love anytime Drew and I get to make music together. It feels old and familiar, and new all at the same time. Drew’s been traveling a lot on the road, so this batch of songs is a combo of ones we’ve written both apart and together, and I couldn’t love them more. These songs embrace steady love, dancing, and mystery, so naturally, I’m a big fan.”

Drew & Ellie Holcomb first met while Drew, a native Memphian, and Ellie, a native Nashvillian, were attending school together at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. When Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors originally formed in 2005, Ellie was a full-time member.

The couple married in 2006 and in 2012, Ellie left the group to pursue a solo career that has seen her release three studio albums of her own, including her critically acclaimed 2021 LP Canyon, and three children’s books along with accompanying albums and her adult devotional book Fighting Words. Drew and the band released nine studio albums, including their more recent critically acclaimed Strangers No More LP in June 2023 that produced the No. 1 Americana single “Find Your People.”

While pursuing separate and equally successful career paths, the couple has continued to collaborate personally – adding three beautiful children to their family – and professionally – putting on annual sold-out Christmas shows, releasing an album, singles, and an EP plus some touring along the way. Catch Drew & Ellie Holcomb live on their Feels Like Home tour in February 2023, listen to “Brick by Brick”.

Lizzie Morgan’s professional music career quickly launched in 2017 when she began singing background vocals for multi-GRAMMY Award winner Lauren Daigle. It was between tours that Morgan began honing in on her musical skills, performing with and writing for a variety of artists and projects including Matt Maher, Maverick City Music, Seasons Collective, Red Worship, and WILDER, a duo she formed with songwriter Stefan Cashwell. Their song, “Heaven’s Secrets,” achieved over 1M cumulative streams in its first year of release.

Yet it was growing up in Tennessee and being part of the church her grandparents started, Celebration of Life outside of Nashville, where Lizzie Morgan learned to sing and lead worship. Today, she continues to lead worship there while also splitting her time in San Jose, CA as part of the worship team at Redemption Church, the home of Red Worship.

[EP] Gaither Vocal Band Prepares For Valentine’s Day With The Release Of ‘Let Me Be There’ & ‘Love Songs’

The Gaither Vocal Band is celebrating the season of love today with the completion of their Love Songs (Gaither Music Group) project: the release of their highly anticipated Let Me Be There EP and Love Songs CD, alongside an accompanying TV special and DVD. These releases, available starting today, are a heartfelt tribute to their wives and their love for them, showcasing the band’s unique blend of harmonic and soulful melodies.

letmebethere

“On Valentine’s Day last year, the Vocal Band wanted to try to do something very special for our wives, so we thought it would be a good idea to bring them into the studio and sing them some great love songs,” stated Bill Gaither.

“The lovely word LOVE has been so worn thin and desecrated that we can hardly use it to express what we all so long to find. What we actually seek is the courage to know and be known, to trust enough to see and be seen as our most vulnerable selves,” said Gloria Gaither, describing the meaningfulness of this recording. “So these songs were chosen in the hope for the courage to see our most primary relationships with the purity and power of what LOVE was intended to mean—concepts including: I see you. I trust you with my heart. I promise to not run away when the road gets rough. I promise to find joy in simple things.”

Stream & Enjoy

The title track to Let Me Be There, a beautiful cover of Olivia Newton-John’s classic hit, is just a glimpse of the extraordinary musical journey that awaits fans in this collection. Other tracks from the EP include the Neil Sedaka hit “Laughter in the Rain” and “Have I Told You Lately,” originally written and recorded by Van Morrison and covered by everyone from Rod Stewart to Kenny Rogers and Barbara Mandrell.

The entire Love Songs project is one that resonates deeply with the band members, reflecting their gratitude and affection for their life partners who have been their steadfast support through life’s challenges and rigorous touring schedules. The album is not just a collection of songs but a tribute to enduring love and companionship.

The full album follows the band’s successful 14-city Christmas tour and recent GRAMMY nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album for Shine: The Darker the Night the Brighter the Light. This new record features Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Todd Suttles, Adam Crabb and Reggie Smith, whose harmonies beautifully interpret these cherished love songs.

The accompanying DVD and TV special offer fans a comprehensive experience of the Gaither Vocal Band’s latest endeavor. In an intimate setting, the band members invited their wives to join them, sharing their appreciation and serenading them with these timeless love songs.

This release holds a significant presence across various platforms. Fans can enjoy songs from the Love Songs project on the Gaither Music TV YouTube channel (over 3 million subscribers), including a YouTube Premiere scheduled for February 2; Apple Music’s Front Porch Country Gospel Collection playlist; Gaither Radio on Amazon and the Gaither Catalog Collection.

Ernie Haase & Signature Sound Remind Believers “We Are The Church”

Gospel music’s premier quartet, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, is set to kick off the year with an impassioned new single, “We Are The Church,” releasing Friday from StowTown Records. In addition, the GRAMMY nominated, Dove Award-winning group’s popular “Friday Night Sing” YouTube series will make its highly anticipated return February 2.

Inaugurating Ernie Haase & Signature Sound’s third decade of music and ministry, “We Are The Church” was penned by Haase, Sue C. Smith and Lee Black and produced by Wayne Haun. Choral and orchestral arrangements of “We Are The Church” will also be available for congregational use. The anthem, which epitomizes the group’s mission, sounds a clarion call for believers to stand firm in faith amidst worldly despair.

“I came to the table with this idea a couple of months ago, troubled by the way things are trending in our culture,” Haase shares of the song’s inspiration. “While it seems we’re all on edge these days and the future is uncertain, I want to remind my brothers and sisters in Christ that we’re not called to fight for an earthly kingdom. We’re here to promote an eternal agenda, one that defines who we are and Whose we are—bought by the blood of Jesus. Because of that glorious truth, we can weather any storm.”

wearethechurch

Haase continues, “Jesus says in John 16:33, ‘I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’ No matter what the days ahead hold, we have this assurance. Who we are matters. We are the Church and it’s time to stand on that foundation.”

Subsequently, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound are poised to launch the long-awaited third season of their popular “Friday Night Sing” series. Debuting February 2 at 7:00 pm ET on YouTube, the six-episode season will be highlighted by intimate acoustic performances from the quartet, as well as special greetings from Bill Gaither, The Oak Ridge Boys, Sandi Patty and Pastor Robert Jeffress, among other friends of the group. A new episode will premier every Friday evening through March 8.

Originating as a way for the group to connect with their fans during the pandemic, “Friday Night Sing” exploded in popularity, with many episodes amassing large audiences and new viewers tuning in from more than 30 countries. “We’ve heard people loud and clear from all over the world; they’ve missed the community we’ve built virtually from our living rooms to theirs on Friday nights,” Haase says of the show’s return. “The stories we share and the fellowship we have through this online format just isn’t possible to this extent on the road.”

“Last year while we were touring in Scotland, we met a family with five children who told us they looked forward to watching ‘Friday Night Sing’ each week,” he continues. “Despite the time difference, which meant they were viewing it live in the wee hours of the morning in Scotland, they wanted the opportunity to watch it together with everyone around the world. That means so much to us, witnessing people come together to share this unique experience.”

Ernie Haase & Signature Sound’s new single and “Friday Night Sing” reboot arrive on the heels of a watershed year for the group. Commemorating two decades of music and ministry in 2023, the quartet marked the milestone with the release of Live in Amsterdam: A 20th Anniversary Celebration last summer, and they shared the stage with the most awarded a cappella group in history, Take 6, for a showstopping performance during the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards in October.
