Anne Wilson Sets Sights On Her Hometown Of Lexington, KY To Celebrate New Album ‘REBEL’

PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson is set to celebrate the release of her highly anticipated album, REBEL, with a special hometown album release show in Lexington, Ky.. The one-night-only event will take place on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 7 p.m. ET at the iconic Lexington Opera House following the release of her album on April 19. Tickets will be available for purchase during Wilson’s fan club presale beginning tomorrow, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. ET.

Following Friday’s announcement about the arrival of her genre-bending record due April 19, Wilson will captivate her hometown crowd by performing REBEL top to bottom. A co-writer on each of the album’s 16 tracks, the Ky. native teamed up with some of Music Row’s most in-demand songwriters for a revolutionary project firmly rooted in both Country and Christian music, produced by Jeff Pardo and Jonathan Smith.

“I cannot wait to share these new songs with you live from my hometown,” shares Wilson. “To be releasing an album I’m so proud of is a dream in itself, but to perform it from top to bottom from the Lexington Opera House — where I spent 11 years doing ballet with the Lexington Ballet Company — will be such a full circle moment. This venue holds so many cherished memories for me, and I can’t wait to make another one with you all!”

Wilson showcases her “Kentucky twang and country-leaning songcraft sensibilities” (Billboard) with her new release “God & Country.” Highlighting both sides of Wilson as an artist and the faith-infused Country that defines REBEL, her commanding vocals lead the way as she revists the Kentucky roots that shaped her identity. From church pews and Sunday morning choirs, to mud tires and Friday night lights, Wilson shares what it’s like to grow up in the heart of the heartland, boldly declaring “I’ve got a good life down here, but a better one waiting up above me.”

The transformative music video for the track exclusively debuted on CMT/Paramount Times Square billboards, CMTCMT Music and CMT.comon Jan. 26 just days after Wilson was revealed as a member of the coveted 2024 CMT Next Women of Country class.

Adding to her list of accolades, Wilson was also tapped as one of Spotify’s Hot Country Artists to Watch 2024, further solidifying her rising status from Music Mayhem, Pandora and more. Matthew West Launches Pre-Order For New Book ‘My Story, Your Glory’

Author and multi-award-winning artist and songwriter Matthew West will release My Story, Your Glory, his sixth book, on March 19, 2024 (K-LOVE Books). He wrote this 30-day devotional to help guide readers to discover how God’s love can rewrite our stories and explore how God’s glory redeems every chapter of our lives.

With My Story, Your Glory, which was inspired by his hit song and No. 1 album of the same name, it is West’s goal to help readers reflect on the less-than-perfect parts of their lives and to point them to examples in Scripture and how God redeemed their stories while encouraging them to give God the glory in both the best days and worst days.

Along with sharing his own experiences throughout the book, My Story, Your Glory reveals how God brings hope into all situations and that He will work all things together for the good of those who love Him.

mystoryyourglory

“There is nothing more inspiring and uplifting than witnessing stories of God at work in people’s lives,” West exclaims. “Our testimonies of God’s faithfulness have the power to embolden each other, carry each other through hard times, and change the world.

This is a devotional about your story…a guide to help you remember that your story is being written by the Master Storyteller and that you are here on this earth for a very important reason: to give God glory. Each day challenges you to consider a new truth of what God is currently doing or has done in your life, and to turn the focus of your life toward the glory of the One who loves you.”

Beginning today, the book is available for pre-order by visiting MatthewWest.com or wherever books are sold. As an incentive, those who pre-order will receive additional perks, including an exclusive virtual launch party.

West concludes, “When you complete this devotional, my hope is that you will have a journal that documents God’s enduring presence in every chapter of your story – a written testimony that you can go back to again and again whenever you need encouragement. I’m excited to spend 30 days with you learning how to craft, share, and live a more meaningful and fulfilling story with the one life we get to live. It’s your story for His Glory.”

Jaime Jamgochian Taps Genre-Spanning Luminaries For Long Awaited ‘Sacred Surrender’

Boasting a lineup of genre-spanning special guests, Sacred Surrender is set to bow March 22 from Dove Award-nominated singer/songwriter Jaime Jamgochian. Featuring collaborations with some of the artist’s longtime friends and peers, including beloved trio Selah; singer/songwriter Ginny Owens; Christian radio favorite Citizen Way; Southern Gospel standout Joseph Habedank, and The Belonging Co worship leader and singer/songwriter Andrew Holt, Sacred Surrender marks Jamgochian’s first release in nearly four years.

With 10 tracks all co-penned by Jamgochian, the album features songwriting contributions from Kenna Turner West, Citizen Way’s Ben Calhoun, Rebekah White, Jay Speight and Selah’s Todd Smith, among others. Sacred Surrender was produced by Andrew Bergthold (We the Kingdom), John Strandell, Tommy Iceland (Poets & Prophets), Chris Bevins, and Mckendree Tucker.

Hallmarked by Jamgochian’s effervescent vocals and memorable melodies, Sacred Surrender opens with “Gonna Be Good,” a joyful pop anthem encapsulating the project’s mission. “The overall theme of the record is surrender—letting go and choosing to live an abundant life, even in the empty spaces,” she shares. “Surrender is the only path to peace, relinquishing what we want and totally trusting that God’s got it, even when we don’t see it.”

unnamed 18

“I want to see people encounter the love of God in these songs,” Jamgochian adds. “I want them to feel hope, because when I first met Jesus, that’s what I felt. I didn’t know the Bible that well, but I felt hope. I felt peace like I had never known.”

Sacred Surrender is punctuated by an array of standout collaborations, including “Coming Back Again (Holy, Holy, Holy)” with Citizen Way; “Our Father,” an impassioned anthem featuring Selah and inspired by The Lord’s Prayer; the buoyant “If God Wrote A Song” with Joseph Habedank; the Andrew Holt-featured “Visions,” a prophetic ballad that was among the first songs Jamgochian led in worship after becoming a Christian; and the compelling “By Heart,” an affirmation of God’s faithfulness showcasing Ginny Owens.

The poignant title-cut rounds out the project, Jamgochian’s stirring personal declaration offering a fitting final sentiment: So take my life/I’m giving it all to You/Whatever You want me to do/ I’m gonna follow You.”

“The older I get, I don’t want complicated; I want simple faith, simple trust in God, and simple songs that people can easily sing over and over again,” she explains. “I want to write faith declarations that move people closer to God and move them out of fear into faith, out of anxiety into peace, and out of emptiness into abundance.”
