‘The Chosen’ Announces Season 4 Available To Stream June 2

The creators of the series The Chosen are pleased to announce that Season 4 will be available to the public for streaming on Sunday, June 2, at 7 p.m. ET. As always, each episode will launch with global livestreams on social media and The Chosen app. Following each livestream, Season 4 episodes will be available exclusively in The Chosen app before coming to other viewing platforms later this year.

Episode one of Season 4 will be available for streaming beginning on Sunday, June 2. The second episode will be available on the following Thursday, June 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET, with ensuing episodes released on Sundays at 7 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET over the course of four weeks.

“The wait is finally over. The response from those who’ve seen Season 4 in theaters was that this is our best season, so I can’t wait to deliver these episodes free and easy to the world,” said Dallas Jenkins, creator, producer, director, and writer of the international hit series The Chosen.

The Chosen is a groundbreaking historical drama based on the life of Jesus, seen through the eyes of those who knew him.

thechosenseason4

Clashing kingdoms. Rival rulers. The enemies of Jesus close in while His followers struggle to keep up, leaving Him to carry the burden alone. Threatened by the reality of Jesus’ growing influence, religious leaders do the unthinkable—ally with their Roman oppressors. As the seeds of betrayal are planted and opposition to Jesus’ message turns violent, He’s left with no alternative but demand his followers rise up.

The season was first released in theaters in 31 territories around the globe, the series’ most successful theatrical run ever.

“We wanted to offer fans a chance to see it on the big screen together in theaters,” Jenkins said. “But I’ve maintained the show will always ultimately be available free and easy, and we’re now ready for our livestreams, which are going to be bonkers this year.”

Viewers can watch the series for free in The Chosen app, available for download on streaming players or devices including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, and Android.

Additional streaming and broadcast options for Season 4 viewing will be announced soon.

Accessible and Introspective: Review of Cherylann Hawk’s “Love &Gratitude” (out on June 8th)

Cherylann Hawk’s new single “Love & Gratitude,” set to release on June 8th, is a heartwarming journey through gentle acoustic melodies and poignant lyrics. The song showcases Hawk’s talent for blending
introspective themes with accessible, country-infused soundscapes.

With a team of seasoned musicians and a production that highlights every instrument’s nuance, “Love & Gratitude” is both a reflective anthem and a showcase of collaborative artistry.

The song’s instrumentation is both rich and soothing. Cherylann Hawk’s acoustic guitar and vocals form the backbone of the track, imbuing it with sincerity and warmth. Bob Zigerelli’s lead acoustic guitar lines
weave seamlessly with Hawk’s rhythm, creating a harmonious and layered sound. The addition of Charlie McVay’s pedal steel guitar infuses the song with a distinctly country flavor, lending an air of nostalgia and
emotional depth.

Joey Granati’s contributions on bass and keys provide a steady and enriching foundation, complementing the song’s reflective tone without overshadowing it. Tracey Whorton’s drums and percussion add subtle, yet vital, rhythms that enhance the track’s flow and build its dynamic progression. The production by David Granati at Maplewood Studio/Dave World Productions ensures each element is crisp and well-balanced, while Brian Foraker’s mastering ties everything together with polished finesse.

“Love & Gratitude” captures the essence of Hawk’s personal mantra. The narrative is one of self-rediscovery and appreciation for life’s simple yet profound moments. Lines like “You’ll remember why
you’re amazing” and “All you need is some love and some gratitude” echo timeless wisdom, while also resonating with the listener’s own experiences.

The lyrics encourage a mindful approach to life, advocating for a blend of self-love and thankfulness as keys to happiness.

The story behind the song adds another layer of depth. Originally written for a country artist in Nashville, the song evolved into a personal testament to Hawk’s journey towards embracing gratitude in all
aspects of life. This backstory enriches the listening experience, as it provides context for the song’s heartfelt message.

In “Love & Gratitude,” Cherylann Hawk has crafted a song that is both comforting and inspiring. It serves as a reminder of the power of love and thankfulness in our lives, conveyed through soothing melodies and heartfelt lyrics. For fans of acoustic and country music, or anyone in need of a gentle reminder to cherish the present, this single is a must-listen.

**Cult Album Recommendation:** *Gene Clark – No Other* (1974) This underrated gem from The Byrds’ founding member Gene Clark blends country, rock, and folk with deeply introspective lyrics and lush
arrangements, making it a timeless classic worth discovering.

“What a Wonderful World” – Louis Armstrong

A timeless classic that beautifully captures appreciation for the world around us.

A song that expresses gratitude for life’s experiences, both good and bad.

“Grateful” – Rita Ora

This track speaks about overcoming challenges and being thankful for the journey.

Global Church To Unite In 2025 Via Gather25

On March 1st, 2025, Gather25 will bring together Christians across the world for 25 hours of prayer, worship, repentance, and commissioning on an unprecedented scale. Using technology and AI, connecting the global Church across a single 25-hour period is now a reality for the first time. Gather25 promises to be more than just an event; it is anticipated to mark a pivotal moment for the story of the global Church in history.

Gather25 is a significant undertaking led by an alliance of Christian organizations and ministries, aiming to mobilize the 2.5 billion Christians, from every denomination and every continent, that make up the worldwide Church in the shared mission of reaching the 5.5 billion people who don’t yet know Jesus. A growing list of organizations including YouVersion, The Bible Project, illumiNations, 24-7 Prayer International, Global 2033 and many others are partnering with regional partners and ministries to make Gather25 possible.

Recent advances in real-time, simultaneous translation technology will mean that the live music, powerful teaching, prayers, and international stories of hope cross language barriers and reach people across all continents. The event will be hosted in-person and virtually from six continents, and through television broadcasts, radio and live streams, Christians can join from their homes, theaters, and local churches anywhere in the world, or at one of the live broadcast sites.

gather25block.png

Jennie Allen, founder and visionary behind Gather25, says, “For the first time in history, the entire global Church is actually able to gather. So we are inviting all 2.5 billion people who love Jesus to come together to pray, to see stories of the church, and to commission them to become missionaries wherever they are to reach the ends of the earth.”

Dr. Charles Mugisha, Co-Founder of Africa New Life Ministries and lead pastor of New Life Bible Church Rwanda, says, “Gather25 is an opportunity for God’s people to become one, with Christ at the center. For 25 hours we’ll be hearing stories of God’s power across the earth and worshipping with our great family of Jesus followers.

There are billions of people and many people groups, who don’t know the love of God – my prayer is that Gather25 would ignite a new commissioning of the church under the power of the Holy Spirit so that every soul would be reached with the love of God.”

This global gathering cannot happen without local churches, ministries and leaders. Gather25 invites Christians from all over the world to save the date, March 1st, 2025, and invite others to join as well.

Rend Collective’s Ali Gilkeson To Release A Hopeful Children’s Book

Families are always looking for encouraging and hopeful storybooks for their family reading times and now Ali Gilkeson of the Irish folk band Rend Collective offers the imaginative My Lighthouse: A Story of Finding Your Way Home (WaterBrook; on sale 6/18/24), which was inspired by Rend’s platinum-selling song of the same name.

The imaginative story woven through My Lighthouse: A Story of Finding Your Way Home is set in Gilkeson’s homeland of Ireland and it’s wonderfully paired with whimsical illustrations by New York Times bestselling illustrator Lee Wildish.

Fynn has always lived in a lighthouse—just like his father, and his father, and his father before him. His dad insists that living in a round house with a big lightbulb on top is special, but Fynn doesn’t see how. All he knows is that it’s weird—and often inconvenient. Exasperated by trying to fit all his favorite things in a round house and tired of being so different from everyone else, Fynn runs away from his lighthouse, seeking adventure on the sea. But when the winds and waves rise and things get very, very dark, Fynn finds that the light he needs most is the one that he’s known all his life.

image001

“I wanted to write a book that gave kids hope. Fynn is a character who I feel a lot of us, especially kids, can relate to. He is a kid who doesn’t like his house, his lighthouse, and essentially runs away to find adventure. In this day and age there are a lot of children who feel lost and alone,” Gilkeson says.

My Lighthouse is a book that can bring joy and hope into that circumstance and start helping children understand that God is a safe guiding light who is constant and is always leading them home.”

Children will get swept away in Fynn’s adventure and parents and other caregivers will appreciate the lessons of hope and gratitude that shines through this sweet storybook.

Inspired by Rend Collective’s hit song of the same name, My Lighthouse: A Story of Finding Your Way Home is a memorable tale families will return to again and again.
