Love & The Outcome Announces Third Studio LP ‘Only Ever Always’ Available April 1

Curb | Word Entertainment’s Love & The Outcome announces the upcoming release of their third studio LP, Only Ever Always, arriving Apr. 1, 2022. Beginning today, the full-length project is available to pre-order, pre-save and pre-add HERE. Previewing the upbeat pop set, the duo also drops “I’m Not Lucky, I’m Blessed” and is set to unveil an official music video for the buoyant track today (1/14) at 1 p.m. CT.

Only Ever Always finds Love & The Outcome’s Jodi King and Chris Rademaker choosing hope in the face of hardship. The recent flooding of their Nashville home inspired the 13-track collection as the couple realized rain precedes the rainbow. Produced by Seth Mosley, Mark Campbell and Colin Munroe, the album is colored by the act’s signature blend of positive pop and a retro groove. It boasts select songs from their 2020 EP, You Got This, as well as future hits like “I’m Not Lucky, I’m Blessed,” “More” and “Nothing Surprises You,” featuring Maverick City Music’s Stefan Cashwell.

Today’s advance release of “I’m Not Lucky, I’m Blessed” proves the duo doesn’t believe in happenstance. Penned by Jodi and songwriter Joshua David, the optimistic track gives credit to the Creator for every good thing, made sweeter in light of the Rademakers’ life-altering flood. The sunny singalong was produced by Seth Mosley (FOR KING + COUNTRY, Francesca Battistelli) and features Dmitry Gorodetsky, Charlie Puth’s bassist, whose contribution was fittingly one of divine coincidence.

Pre-order, pre-add or pre-save Only Ever Always HERE. For tour dates and more information, visit www.loveandtheoutcome.com.

Lynda Randle To Release Powerful New Album ‘Pilgrim Journey’ On February 11

On February 11, 2022, DOVE Award-winning Gospel singer/songwriter Lynda Randle is set to release her new recording Pilgrim Journey – a gripping, gospel album that showcases emotion-filled vocals and rich, honest lyrics. Released by Gaither Music Group, the album features guest vocals by Kimberly Schlapman, of Little Big Town, and Tommy Sims with stirring production by two-time GRAMMY nominated and 13-time DOVE Award-winning singer-songwriter Cindy Morgan.

Pilgrim Journey is an uplifting, spiritual voyage that invites listeners to navigate their inherent yearning for hope and inspires perseverance as they anticipate the eternal promise of freedom. The recording highlights Randle’s signature Gospel stylings while capturing an epic, soulful side of her that is reminiscent of artists who have inspired her, including Mavis Staples, Nina Simone, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, The Blind Boys of Alabama and more.

Pilgrim Journey is such a special project to me because it is a bridge between my roots and my present–a musical coming home of sorts,” stated Randle. “It is an album of lament, healing, forgiveness, love…a journey to unity; and bringing people together is my passion. Getting to work and produce with my musical ‘she-ro’ Cindy Morgan and the amazing musicians and talent she brought to the project were more than a dream come true!”

On February 12, 2022, Pilgrim Journey will be aired as part of a special television offer surrounding Randle’s project Homecoming Favorites and Songs of Inspiration on PBS, Circle TV, TBN, RFD-TV, GaitherTV, TCT, Heartland and CTN. The special will also be aired in Canada on Vision TV, CTS, The Miracle Channel and Hope TV.

To stream or purchase Pilgrim Journey or listen to the debut single, “Plenty Good Room,” visit: https://gaithermusic.lnk.to/PilgrimJourney_LyndaRandle.

Lynda is featured regularly on the Gaither Music TV YouTube channel (over 2.3M subscribers) and on the Gaither Music Facebook page (over 1.3M followers). Pilgrim Journey will be available on all digital streaming platforms, featured on various playlists and marketed through direct-to-consumer initiatives. Songs from the release will be heard on Gaither Radio on Pandora and made available on Gaither Radio on Amazon.

Lynda’s unmistakable alto voice has created opportunities for her to minister across the United States and around the world for the past three decades. She has shared the stage with musical legends such as Andre Crouch and Gladys Knight, has enjoyed the distinct honor of being a musical guest for a Billy Graham Crusade and is deemed a favorite on the Gaither Homecoming Video Series.

In 2005, she won a DOVE Award for her album A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson. Lynda’s intrinsic ability to unite diverse audiences makes both her message and music cross-cultural. This is a theme that can be seen through her individual performances, women’s conferences, books and albums; and her ability to build bridges across audiences has never been more transparent than on this heartfelt recording.

Pilgrim Journey official track listing:

  1. “Oh Lord” (Prologue)
  2. “I Want Jesus to Walk with Me” (feat. Tommy Sims)
  3. “Can You Hear Me Praying?”

Karima Rules Gospel Radio Charts

Celebrated vocalist KARIMA soars high claiming the Number 1 spot on several Gospel radio charts. The beautiful worship ballad “Redeemer,” is KARIMA’s DARE Records debut and its impressive rise speaks to the power of the song and KARIMA’s exceptional performance of it.

‘REDEEMER’
ENTERING NUMBER 1 ON MULTIPLE CHARTS
#1 BILLBOARD GOSPEL AIRPLAY
#1 MEDIABASE GOSPEL AIRPLAY
#1 BILLBOARD GREATEST GAINER GOSPEL AIRPLAY

KARIMA’s first-ever Number 1 song, “Redeemer” is #1 on the Gospel Airplay Chart, is the greatest gainer on that chart, and is #1 on the Mediabase Gospel chart.

“Just when you think it’s over it’s literally just the beginning. After being in the music industry for 25 years, I hoped and may have even dreamed of being in this position,” said KARIMA. “While I was contemplating giving up on music, God was waiting on me to recognize His ultimate plan for this season of my life… the plan was just to believe in myself and KEEP GOING no matter what that looked like to others or felt like to myself.”

She went on to say “I’ve learned in this process that His ‘no’ is even good. His ‘no’ doesn’t always mean things are permanently not going to happen. His ‘no’ in my situation simply meant not right now. Patience and perseverance was key. He’s a promise keeper and a restorer of all things good. Wow God.”

This rare feat adds to DARE Records’ latest string of hits marking the label’s third consecutive Billboard Number 1 song. Juan and Lisa Winans; “It Belongs To Me,” and “Jesus Will Fix It (Trouble In My Way)” from Shontelle Norman-Beatty both peaked at Number 1 last year.

Michael-Anthony “Mooki” Taylor, DARE Records CEO & Chairman, said, “so many wonderful pieces to this exciting story!” “Tara Griggs-Magee (Dare Records label president) signed Karima and her sisters in Virtue to Verity Records over 20 years ago. While I did a remix on ‘He’s Been Good’ in 2002. I also was writing and recording with Nicole C. Mullen for Carman in 1994.”

Taylor went on to explain the full circle moment “I signed Karima to DARE Records in 2020 the same week Juan and Lisa Winans’ ‘It Belongs To Me’ (feat. Marvin L. Winans) went #1 and we released the ‘Redeemer’ remake in 2021. Shontelle Norman-Beatty went #1 in September 2021. And HERE-WE-ARE. THREEPEAT! Like the 90’s Bulls!”

Best known for her musical success as co-founder and member of the enormously successful Gospel/Christian trio Virtue, KARIMA signed with DARE Records in 2021. While achieving success on the music front, KARIMA elevates her brand and business enterprises. In addition to the launch of THE SOUP CHIC, an online delivery service of homemade soup, KARIMA plans to launch a women’s athleisure brand called The KARIMA Brand. The fashion line will feature pieces for the on-the-go woman to go from the Yoga studio to the recording studio.

Cory Asbury Signs Exclusive Management Agreement With Maximum Artist Group

Double-Platinum selling, award-winning singer/songwriter, Cory Asbury, whose credits include “Reckless Love” and “The Father’s House”, has signed an exclusive artist management agreement with Maximum Artist Group. The announcement was made by Mitchell Solarek, president of the Nashville-based firm. Asbury joins a roster that includes Gold and Platinum selling, multi-award winners Natalie Grant, Tauren Wells, and producer/writer Bernie Herms, among others.
“Cory is an incredible songwriter and artist who has experienced amazing success over the past few years,” says Solarek. “We are thrilled he’s now a member of the Maximum family and we’re hugely excited to be part of his future.”

Asbury burst onto the top of the airplay and sales charts with his smash single and album, Reckless Love, which has gone on to earn an abundance of accolades, including Gospel Music Association Dove Awards for Song of the Year, Worship Song of the Year, and Worship Album of the Year; a 2019 Grammy® nomination; Billboard’s 2019 Christian Song of the Year; BMI’s and ASCAP’s 2019 Christian Song of the Year (after spending 18 weeks at No. 1). The single was recently certified Double-Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales consumption of more than two million units. Asbury has generated over 779 million audio and video streams in the US alone.

“I am incredibly excited to run with Maximum. Mitchell and his team are people of extremely high character,” adds Asbury. “Any time you can find folks with pure hearts for God coupled with a tenacious reach for excellence, you know you’re in good hands. I am confident they’ll help me bring my God-given vision to fruition.”

A native of North Carolina now making his home in the suburbs of Nashville, Asbury is a songwriter, singer, speaker, author, and worship leader. From singing in his local church in his early teens to becoming worship leader at local churches in Kansas City, MO and Kalamazoo, MI, Asbury now commands global stages with his passionate performances and deeply resonating lyrics. His career defining mega-hit single, “Reckless Love”, was inspired by his journey through the birth of his first son and the near loss of his first daughter.

“I feel like this song is a culmination of the latter half of my life,” Asbury told Relevant Magazine in 2018. “When our son was born . . . [a]nd when I held him for the first time, it’s like everything changed. . . . And I remember thinking, man, there’s nothing this little boy could ever make me do to love him any less. And it was through that experience that I began to see [God] rightly . . . And that changed everything for me.”
A prolific songwriter and touring artist, Asbury is gearing up for a hefty load of 2022 dates including the upcoming January events with the KLOVE Caribbean Cruise and “Rock the Universe” festival at Universal Studios Florida. Both late spring 2022 and a fall 2022 tours are in the works.

Asbury lives in Middle Tennessee with his wife Anna and their four children, Gabriel, Lily, River, and Willow-Grace.

Awaken Music Globally Releases “Come What May” January 14

San Diego-based collective Awaken Music (formally Awaken Worship), from the 10,000 member, multi-campus Awaken Church, releases “Come What May” Jan. 14 via The Fuel Music. Available to pre-save now at https://slinky.to/ComeWhatMay, the single declares a staunch, steadfast trust in the Lord regardless of circumstances. The anthemic new chorus is meant to encourage Christians in 2022 and harkens back to bold praises heard in songs like “Blessed Be Your Name.”

“‘Come What May’ is a rallying cry for people facing trial and tribulation and is a stake in the ground that gives people the vocabulary of praise,” shares Mike Yeager, who leads Awaken Music, is the Eastlake Campus Pastor and co-wrote the new song with Deshauwn Tagliareni and Providence Cordell. “The first verse alludes to Jericho falling and talks about praising when everything is going right and victories are being had, and the second verse talks about praising in drought seasons when you are expecting God to move.”

Come what may
Nothings gonna stop my praise
Not afraid, I will stand tall with my hands raised
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
He has overcome
So come what may
Nothings gonna steal my praise
(From the “Come What May” chorus.)

Like its recent Lionheart (Deluxe) album, “Come What May” was produced by GRAMMY Award-nominated Stephen Blake Kanicka (Kanye West, for KING & COUNTRY, Danny Gokey) and mixed by David Cook (Chris Tomlin, Zach Williams, Shawn Mendes).

And like the album, the new single represents Awaken Church’s fierce stance on the importance of gathering together as believers to encourage and support one another. In August 2020, the church became one of the first to open its doors in California after pandemic lockdowns in order to support and minister to their community that was wrestling with rising cases of drug abuse, suicide and a host of other mental and physical ailments. Growing from 8,000 to 10,000 members during this time, and ministering to 25,000 people online, the church found courage and strength in the lyrics and melodies being created by its worship team.

“We were one of very few churches in America that really said, ‘hey wait a minute, the church is the most essential institution on the planet, we can’t shut down, our community needs it too badly,’” remembers Yeager. “Our church is really big on the power of actually physically speaking out the precepts, promises and principles of God.”

As new melodies are carried out into the world, Awaken Music hopes people will find encouragement to join in the outworking of God’s plan, being active and hopeful in their mission and purpose as Christians.

Following his formal musical introduction last year, Capitol CMG’s newest emerging artist, Kevin Quinn, announced the upcoming release of his debut EP and new single, “It’s About Time.” Available everywhere on January 14th, the five-track studio record will feature Quinn’s 2021 hit tracks “Wildfire,” “I’m Still Breathing,” “Over and Over Again” and “Fuego En Mi Interior,” with standout new single, “It’s About Time.”

On “It’s About Time,” the EP, the promising musician offers a holistic introduction to his style and perspective, highlighting his knack for intimate storytelling. Through rich vocals and deeply personal songwriting, Quinn’s lyrics strike a unique balance between growth and vulnerability, as he carries listeners along his journey as a young adult, while giving hope for the future. Pre-Save “It’s About Time” on Spotify HERE.

“I really hope that the fans enjoy this first EP. It’s fully reflective of where I am in my life, and it’s the most honest thing I’ve done thus far. This is only the beginning,” says Quinn. “I’m proud of the journey that has led me here. To me, “It’s About Time” serves as a reminder that life is equally fragile as it is beautiful, and we should never take a single day for granted.”

Upon Quinn’s debut in 2021, American Songwriter predicted he was “just scratching the surface of this singer/songwriter’s capabilities” with launch single “Wildfire,” calling the debut “a powerful beginning.” The track has garnered over 3 million global streams and generated forceful momentum for Quinn as a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His singles “Over and Over Again” and “I’m Still Breathing” continued to blaze a trail for the rising star.

This year, Quinn will bring his “pure pop sound that swirls with irresistible melodies” (American Songwriter) to arenas in the U.S. as a special guest on the 41-date Winter Jam 2022 tour, which kicks off today in Charleston, WV. He previously performed as a part of the Winter Jam 2020 lineup to promote his Netflix musical, “A Week Away.” Tickets for Winter Jam 2022 available HERE.
