Gotee Records’ worship artist and songwriter Jon Reddick celebrates his K-LOVE Fan Award Nomination for “Breakout Single of the Year” on the heels of his full-length label debut, God, Turn It Around.

The K-LOVE Awards will be held at the OPRY in Nashville during Memorial Day weekend and will be broadcasted on June 3rd on TBN. 

The nominated single from his debut project is also a Top 5 Billboard Christian Airplay and Mediabase Christian Audience song this week along with more than 27 million combined streams across Amazon Music, AppleMusic, Pandora, Spotify, and YouTube.

“Seeing how this song continues to connect with listeners from all walks of life is never lost on me,” shares Jon Reddick. “Hearing stories of how He has been using this song has truly been one of the greatest gifts in my life.”

Reddick’s full-length debut features a mix of studio and live versions of previously released songs as well as two never-before-released live versions of “The Power of Your Name” and “Keep Me Near.” In addition to the new tracks, the album also includes three different versions of the radio hit, “God, Turn It Around.”

The studio version is produced by Paul Moak, the live version is co-produced by Danny Duncan and Reddick and an additional live version features Matt Maher. Celebrating the release, the album was featured on more than 20 editorial playlists on digital platforms.

Gotee founder and artist TobyMac says he is not surprised by the success of Reddick’s songs and knows these new additions are going to make just as meaningful an imprint on listeners’ lives.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has reacted to the news of a Christian Student that was beaten and burnt to death in Sokoto state over alleged blasphemy.

The Association condemned the act in a press statement released by Joseph Bade Daramola, Esq, CAN’s General Secretary that reads: “DEBORAH’S KILLERS MUST BE BROUGHT TO BOOK“.

“The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) condemns in strong terms the gruesome murder of a Christian, 200 Level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education,  Sokoto, Deborah Samuel by some extremist fellow students on alleged blasphemy”

“The unlawful and dastardly action of the perpetrators must not only be condemned by all right thinking people but the security operatives must fish them out, prosecute them as it is expected of them. It is the failure of the security agencies and the government to rise up to such criminalities in the past that gave birth to terrorists and bandits. And as long as the State fails to bring these beasts and criminals amidst us to book, so also the society will continue to be their killing fields”

“We acknowledge the swift reaction of His Eminence, Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar 111 who not only condemned the criminal and religious intolerant action but called on the security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice. It is our expectation that the State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, would ensure that the matter is not swept under the carpet, as it was before“.

“We also call on all teachers and preachers of religious intolerance, extremism and terrorism to repent before the wrath of God descends on them if the State failed to bring them to book. They are agents of death amidst us”

Nigeria remains a non-religious State where no religion is supreme to the other“.

Grammy and Dove Award-winning recording artist and Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame member John Schlitt will share the stage with some of Contemporary Christian Music’s pioneers during the Legends 2022 Concert this weekend.

Presented by Chrisagis Brothers Ministries & Productions, the concert will be hosted at Harbor of Hope Assembly of God, located at 67667 Warnock Road, St Clairsville, Ohio, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Schlitt will perform alongside such beloved artists as Scott Wesley Brown, Leon Patillo (former lead singer of Santana), Jayne Ferrell (of Ferrell and Ferrell), Dave Boyer, Steve Camp, Terry Tripp, The Chrisagis Brother, and the 17-piece Trinity Jazz Orchestra.

Stay Prayed Up, a documentary of harmony, fellowship, and a “church gospel noisy crew” is poised to release in limited theaters June 17, 2022, followed by a home entertainment launch on Apple TV and Google Play in July.

The only thing mightier than Lena Mae Perry’s electrifying voice is her faith.  She’s spent the last 50 years sharing and sharpening both as the steadfast bandleader of The Branchettes, a legendary North Carolina gospel group that has packed churches throughout the South and lifted hearts as far away as Ireland.  Stay Prayed Up is a spirited celebration, inviting audiences into “Mother” Perry’s close-knit community as the 83-year-old strives to extend The Branchettes’ sacred song ministry ever forward.  The film follows The Branchettes as they record their first live album, a hallmark in the canon of Black gospel groups.  Through shared prayer, laughter, and praise, this “church gospel noisy crew” demonstrates that music, like faith, ain’t nothing without some fire inside.

Greenwich Entertainment acquired the North American distribution rights to this feature directorial debut of co-director, Matt Durning, and second feature from co-director, D.L. Anderson (FARMER/VETERAN).  The Vittles Films and Interlocking Pictures documentary premiered to rave reviews at its World Premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and at DOC NYC.

Premier Productions, Dante Bowe and Food for the Hungry announce the Worship Nights Tour. The tour will span eight cities and will see Bowe fresh off the What Are We Waiting For? Tour with For King & Country.

Capitol CMG artist and songwriter, Anne Wilson, has just landed her first career RIAA Gold Certification for her hit single, “My Jesus.” The single, which also earned her a Billboard Music Award nomination for “Top Christian Song” at this year’s show, was the longest-running No. 1 song on the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart of 2021 at seven weeks and made her the first female artist to top the chart with a debut single.
