Jeremy Rosado Signs With Capitol Christian Music Group

NBC The Voice Season 21 finalist Jeremy Rosado has officially signed a recording contract with Capitol Christian Music Group.  Rosado is currently working on new music with plans to release  songs later this year, and will hit the road with Newsboys this fall on their STAND Together Tour.

“I am so honored to be joining the Capitol Christian Music Group family,” Rosado remarked.  “I’ve been pursing this dream of mine for 10 years and those years have been filled with ups and downs. This season has been so redeeming for me and my story… the path that I’ve walked to get here has not been easy, but everything I’ve faced in my life so far has led me to this point. I’m finding myself living in a state of gratitude at what God has done and how He has brought my dream back to life! I’m beyond excited for what the future holds, and thrilled to be walking into this next chapter with the Capitol team alongside me.”

Rosado, 29, quickly became a fan favorite as a part of Team Kelly, winning viewers over with his incredible vocal talent and his heartwarming story of adopting his niece when he was just 21.

Growing up in a large Puerto Rican family in the middle of Queens, New York, Rosado got his start singing at neighborhood block parties. At 10 years old, his family moved to Tampa, FL. where he began participating in choir at church and school, later becoming a worship leader and gaining traction in the local music scene. At 21, he was given the opportunity to open for Andrea Bocelli, and finally felt his career taking off, including making it to round 13 and semi-finals on Season 11 of American Idol. It was later that year, however, when he made the biggest decision of his life and decided to take over guardianship of his niece. Rosado spent the next seven years solely focused on being a dad. Once his daughter turned 18 he was ready to get back to music and auditioned for The Voice.

“We could not be more excited to welcome Jeremy Rosado to our roster,” share Brad O’Donnell and Hudson Plachy, Co-Presidents, Capitol CMG. “He’s an incredible vocalist with a rare talent and powerful story. We can’t wait to start putting his music out into the world and believe big things are ahead for him.”

Rosado is excited to hit the road with Newboys this fall and connect with fans live and in person.  He has set up a text line at (813) 592-6396 where they can bethe first to know about his new music, tours, and more, and tickets for the tour can be purchased by visiting https://www.iamjeremyrosado.com/live.

Blessing Offor Nominated For 2022 Dove Award

Multi-talented singer songwriter and Top 5 Billboard artist Blessing Offor has garnered a 2022 Dove Award nomination for “New Artist of the Year.” The 53rd GMA Dove Awards will take place on October 18, 2022 and will air October 21, 2022 on TBN.

“This is an honor that I never dared to even imagine getting,” exclaims Blessing. “I am beyond grateful to be nominated for New Artist of the Year! Look at God!”

2022 has proven to be a breakout year for the Nigerian-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter. Earlier this year, Blessing released his debut EP Brighter Days to critical acclaim, with the self-titled track peaking at #2 on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart. “Brighter Days” remains a popular track, currently at #8 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart. Blessing made his national television debut on NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show, and subsequently released the Brighter Days (Live Sessions) EP, featuring intimate live versions of tracks from his debut EP. Recently, Blessing collaborated with GRAMMY® winner TobyMac on his new single “The Goodness.” The track is currently at #6 on the Christian Airplay chart and climbing on all Christian radio charts.

BlessingOffor BrighterDaysEP Cover

The youngest of six siblings, Blessing Offor was born in Nigeria, and immigrated to the United States with his uncle at the age of six. Born blind in one eye, Blessing’s parents sent him to the United States in an effort to restore his vision, though unfortunately he lost his complete eyesight by age 10. Gravitating towards the piano before losing his vision, Blessing’s school teachers helped nurture his talent, and he soon found himself at Belmont University honing his craft in Music City. Hints of pop, Motown, and soul flourish across Blessing’s music as he sings of optimism, hope, and finding silver linings in dark clouds. Blessing’s seven song EP Brighter Days is out now via Chris Tomlin’s Bowyer & Bow imprint in partnership with Universal/Capitol Christian Music Group. Listen to Brighter Days HERE.

Country Artist Matt Westin Performs for the Texas Crime Prevention Association Conference

Renowned country artist Matt Westin paid tribute to police officers with his new single ‘Thin Blue Line’. He recently performed the song at the Texas Crime Prevention Association Conference.

Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, coveted country artist Matt Westin recently released his hit single titled ‘Thin Blue Line’. Paying tribute to police officers and their bravery, the song is emotionally charged and aims to raise awareness about the sacrifices police officers make to keep the world a safe place. Matt was invited to perform the single at the Texas Crime Prevention Association Conference in Austin, Texas on July 17th, 2022. Matt was honored to share his song and deliver his message of ‘thanks’ for the important work being done by the Texas Crime Prevention Association and their officers.

Matt said, “I came up with the idea for this song based on my long-time friendships with some of the men and women in blue. They are some of the most loyal, selfless, brave, and inspiring people I’ve ever met. I’ve heard their horror stories. I’ve seen the heartbreak in their eyes. I’ve watched them deal with the darkest of what the world has to offer, and yet come home each day to be fathers and mothers, husbands and wives.”

He further added “The sacrifices they make and the bravery it takes to wonder if you’ll come home from work each day is something that I can’t begin to comprehend, because I haven’t had to. They chose to, for us. This song is to honor them. This is an anthem in tribute to everything that the ‘thin blue line’ stands for.”

“Thin Blue Line” currently has over 215K Spotify streams.

ABOUT MATT WESTIN:

Country artist Matt Westin first hit the national radar in 2018 with the release of his debut album, “Legacy.” Produced by music veteran Bryan Cole, the album introduced country fans to the humble baritone voice of the engineer-turned-artist. Westin recorded the album after the death of his father, who had been so supportive of Matt’s music. Singles like “Our Redneck of the Woods,” “Farm Town” and “You Leave Me No Choice” racked up the streams on Spotify and Youtube, with the latter single amassing over 65K plays. In the meantime, Westin appeared in Billboard Magazine, won 2 International Music and Entertainment Association Awards, and secured his first film role in “116 MacDougal,” as Johnny Cash, with former Baywatch star, Donna D’Errico. 2019 saw the release of two more Matt Westin singles, the Top 40 Canadian iTunes hit, “Stomp On” and his biggest streaming hit to date, “Hey Bro,” which has over 350K Spotify plays.
